Yifu, Could you consider every certain amount of chips bought you can give a few gen 2 chips for the inconvenience? Like buy 8 chips get 2 gen2 free... This would help

Now lets see if Yifu actually issues any of those refunds, this is starting to sound like nefario to me.
He hasn't refunded Batch 3 customers yet, what makes anyone think he'll honour chips refunds? ?? I'm pretty sure batch 3 customers got their refunds.

to be honest this isn't good for my chi/emotional well being and I'd like to wash my hands of it.
let's hope in the future not doing any pre-sells would solve all these problems.
Wash your hands of it... that's rich. You gotta live with the fact that you made a HARD commitment to something that really shouldn't have been all that difficult and you failed miserably at it. Now that real companies are getting in the bitcoin mining business, you are obsolete. Nobody will be willing to put up with the poor customer support, ridiculous sales terms, poor performance, missed deadlines, and awful communication from companies like Avalon or BFL any more. Good riddance.

But there are no guarantees that these will arrive, could literally be the same thing all over again.. Loads of even later gen 1s and a bunch of late gen 2s. Obviously it is up to the Group buy organisers, but I'm going to vote YES to a refund.

Yifu, Hook us all up with sample gen2's, this will compensate delays and when tested customers will have a taste of what you'll have to offer in direct sales without preorder bullshit. I'll buy some chips off you if you do me this favor.

It appears you're quickly losing touch with reality here. Your Chi is pretty much destroyed and your emotional well being I imagine is going to be tested a lot further with the many people that got screwed by your actions. I'm guessing you had some other problems to deal with, and felt this was the lesser of two evils. Good luck, you've all but destroyed what you built.

This all is very unfortunate. Could this be the end of Bit-Coins? Looks like all the hashing power is going to end up in just a few peoples hands. What made bit-coin great was the ability for anyone who wanted to mine to do so. This has all changed and could be the downfall for bit-coin. Maybe it's time to discontinue the use of bit-coin's and start using lite-coin's.

Bull.
Avalon/Bitsyncom is now dead and gone. But I bet there's a PR/Communications director job that could be had in Kansas for someone very creative at manufacturing excuses...

Avalon needs guarantees in the future, Instant refunds when asked, and 2-4 day shipping, no wait time. And to clear Avalon's name they must compensate us with future chips.
