I was just looking through my old faucet collections (on another site)from early 2020 and it was daily 22k sats in a faucet.  Which seems very nice, I doubt anywhere is giving that much to the likes of myself now because the price rose but also that is just a very nice offer I was given as a new member.

 Just saying if you dont like this site and you do bet theres plenty of offers out there to try if you want.   Good or bad this particular one has been going in its particular way for years, but for some people there are definitely going to be other sites that are better suited.  I was lucky to try the whole variety since BTC started, but I rarely deserved as much as I got so Im very lucky to have those old bonus offers when BTC was small.  I bet there are still good ones out there desperate for good customers, no need to moan exclusively about this site if you haven't tried them all yet.

Wow, 22,000 satoshis is worth about 20$ right now. Imagine, being really active in the beginning and claiming every hour and still holding all your satoshis. I have been on the site for a couple of years, but highest I could claim per hour was about 100 satoshis.

No one knows what's going on inside Freebitco but it's clear after a year that this website is like an abandoned empire.

My assumption is that the project was not abandoned, but rather sold to someone who is not capable of running it. If everything was really on autopilot, I think everything would collapse very quickly and it wouldn't last this long. It seems logical to me that the owner decided to get out of the business after about 10 years, but it turned out the way it did.

I don't think that the project was sold because if it was sold, then there would be written information somewhere on Freebitco's social media channels, on their blog, on their emails or they would write it here. Their team also hasn't changed because when the issues started, their PR team was still the same and their PR team said that wetsuit was still working with them but he was busy dealing with bot accounts.

No it's not a deserted platform you can't say that, they are still opening new sport betting markets and paying winnings of bets once they are settled. They are also processing BTC withdrawals even for "flagged" accounts or requests, so it's almost sure someone is still managing it. But it's sad he or someone else doesn't make more announcements here to update us with the current

Freebitco was a well-known website with lots of customers, it should have been a very profitable business but I believe that recently they ruined this business by having lots of issues and being irresponsible. A few broken things being fixed doesn’t mean much, but hopefully we will continue to see improvements and 2025 will be a better year.

How long can this site survive in this status? Is the end coming for them or will they wake up and do something? I have a feeling that every answer is a real gamble and that there are chances for every possible outcome.

I understand the mention of Wetsuit but TheQuin was just an employee wasnt he, I hope people revere my name years after Im gone literally a legend to the masses, sainted support soul.

   I dont rate the chances of either, the site is just doing its thing mostly automated but I agree with the basic take above its active enough.   Maybe they have someone coming on a contract in future to do whatever or maybe not but I think the nature of the site is not to overdo anything.  People want a response here but I can see the company itself might just see that as a street brawl with no positive outcome, they are resolving cases privately allegedly or some say not, which is not an unknown policy to do.  I do think they'd do better more actively responsive but Im not going to assume the worst personally, I worked for too many big company monoliths to presume order is a norm.

It is good that they are fixing some things already which means they are still working on the website. They need to do a lot more to regain the trust but it might be a good step in the right direction. I have cashed out all my FUN tokens already though.

I think that their "software" generates a new address every now and again for security purposes.
If you've used the bitcoin core, you could have millions of addresses bound to a single account, for privacy, and each time you send a tx, it would generate a new address.

Deposit address on the other hand, that's what we should aim to see

I don't like to scare people and my post doesn't have that intention, but looking at the bad behavior that the FreeBitco team has adopted, it seems to me that the site's team has no idea that by not paying people for weeks ( withdrawals of FUN token, because bitcoin was working from what I've heard ) and not coming to tell the reasons, they will be causing many people to stop using the site and when they have few customers eventually they can disappear without paying anyone. That's why all these red flags should not be ignored by the people who still use the site.

Well, as you can see the freebitcoin site can work for quite a long time even when there are issues and some features don't work. However, what is remarkable is that someone still updates events in the betting tab. For example, there are already events with BTC and ETH price predictions for January. If I'm not mistaken, this was previously done by TheQuin.

If the hot wallet is being funded from time to time, we need no other proof to know that the project is still active, since hot wallet do not fund theirself, they are funded by someone after the wallet have become empty.

And speaking of the cold wallet, I don't think it's possible for anyone to find out the address of the project's cold wallet, and this is because most projects I know will never reveal the address of the cold wallet to anyone, even some of the employees of the company, not to talk of customers, this is one of the things that is kept as top secret by most crypto projects, they can reveal how much they hold in cold wallet, but can't reveal the address since the fund in the wallet can attract hackers to want to try to hack the platform.

I believe the issue is that their email servers are having trouble where their outbound queues are filling up. Every now and then a big stack of queued emails eventually fail (usually after 72 hours of trying to deliver), which means another batch are able to be delivered. Then the queues fill again, and we get nothing for days. That is why it is so inconsistent. I wouldnt take it as a sign that anybody is doing anything behind the scenes.

Yeah it would seem so, that whatever left working is automated. BTC withdrawals work without an issue, but that's a day 0 feature they had so that must be automated since start.
