I'm not so sure giving him Nxt would be a good idea. Bill Still took a lot of heat for possibly receiving donations before he promoted Quark. I'd rather not risk the accusation of the Nxt community "bribing" him to promote Nxt. Just give him good information with no strings attached, and he'll appreciate the gesture.
perhaps this is wise But then again, we want to make it easy for him to get Nxt. If he isn't already in bitcoin it could be difficult. the guy probably could buy up most of NXT easily if he wanted to...haha

Yeah that's probably the best way. Let the guy decide if he likes it or not. Good information would likely be best. We want to give him something to entice him to use Nxt. I give Nxt to a lot of people. Is that a bribe? No. It's just a friendly gesture. "Hey. I think you might like this. Try it out!"

Cuban, a billionaire, won't get any heat for accepting a $10,000 commission after inadvertently having promoted our brand. But the fact that our brand makes itself known to him and is able to throw $10,000 his way just for saying our name, even though it was a coincidence, will definitely get his attention.

I found Mark Cuban's email for one of his companies AXStv. mcuban@axs.tvI'm sure he doesn't directly receive any of the emails, so we need to ask his executive assistant to forward the letter to Mark because we'd like to give him "the NXT best thing in cryptocurrency".

on a side note, Wall street tumbled at close today, and argentinian peso dropped through the floor. South America unease could spread pretty quickly. Time for a fair and decentralized currency that isnt controlled by the banks and Govts. Anyone know one? OOOHHH right.. guess who's nxt

We may be a bit early for him to be entirely impressed with NXT but we cannot let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity go by without making sure he knows his nxt = NXT

Why don't we use the 10M fund to send him 100k NXT? This is marketing and promotion. What would be the best info to send along with the 100k?
because that should be used for development Is that what was decided? just my opinion also not just development, we need a code audit and a whitepaper Honestly - Mark Cuban is Billionaire! Good for him - but trying to bribe him with 100k Nxt from the dev account is so wrong in so many ways. DON'T DO THAT!

Here's a draft of our letter to Mark.
Mark,
We saw your tweet that you're interested in the NXT generation of cryptocurrencies. We are the users and developers of a brand new cryptocurrency called "NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin". NXT uses brand new software. It’s not a fork of Bitcoin's source code. NXT is the first 100% Proof-of-Stake (PoS) currency. Unlike other currencies with PoS mining, NXT's PoS mining does not cause monetary inflation. Coins are earned solely by charging transaction fees. The total amount of NXT in circulation is 1 billion. NXT improves different features of Bitcoin, removes some disadvantages and resolves the environmental issue of wasting electricity to secure the network.
We would like to give you (some) NXT so you can participate in the NXT big thing in cryptocurrency. It's our hope in by giving you these NXT that you help us spread the word about NXT so others can also participate in this revolution.
You can read more about NXT at NxtCrypto.org, wiki.NxtCrypto.org and forums.NxtCrypto.org.
You can download NXT's software here (Link to NRS).
If you have questions please contact us at (contact).
Thank you,
The users and developers of the NXT generation of cryptocurrency

Yes, but this would be the totally wrong message - sort of medieval: Trying to give the big fish an extra sweet deal to pretty please condescend to utter the name ..
That is wrong strategy.
This kind of subservient pleading displays a severe lack of self confidence!!!!!
That is putting nxt into the position of a pathetic little petitioner.
NXT does not need this. Mark Cuban does not need this. Give him an account with 500 Nxt for a test drive, just like anybody else.
NXT can convince by its technical superiority, we don't need to beg and whimper for attention, we have to make nxt known with self confidence!!!

The draft looks okay - but I would not be giving him more than a "token" amount of Nxt (say 1K at the most). The guy is rich so if he has any real interest he would simply buy on an exchange and then promote it to easily double his money so a token amount should suffice. Don't be so "desperate" to "look desperate" guys.

like the draft. - Pleas consider my argument about the amount and the strategic aspect. Doens't look good if nxt distractors and enemies can point to 'oh LOOK, they gave the big guy 100k, so they have to bribe him .. not so sure about how good their thing is , or WHAT??'

Idea is great - choosing wrong amount can backfire badly! consider toads like frictionless - we don't want to deliver such creatures any ammo...

Yeah, right. Actually there is a true possibility for advertising straight in the heart of crypto maniacs. Paid ads in one (unnammed ) weekly show. We would need 2,5x more NXT (than you were here speaking about) for 3 months for that.

Don't offer Mark Cuban free Nxt, but do offer to answer any questions for him and offer technical assistance if he'd like to purchase some. Also I think these points should be added to the draft (if true): Guys,
Don't worry - the big difference I have seen between Nxt and the others is that:
i) It *doesn't* have VC capital backing.
ii) It *doesn't* have "slick sales guys*.
iii) It *does* have smart devs and an increasing following.
iv) It *is* delivering its promises (more or less) on time.
There will always be "the next* conference - stick to what you're doing well - people are watching this space with interest.
