Didn't this read no premine yesterday? Read the first post again and see there is a very large (imo) premine, especially for how difficult it is to mine. Stopping now.
Its premined in the sense that MemoryCoin 1.0 got to transfer their coins to MemoryCoin 2.0. Along with this being a testing of a DAC(related to Protoshares) where Protoshare owners would get 1 MMC per 10 PTS. So if someone happened to have had a significant proportion of MemoryCoin at block 8820 then they would get a relatively huge proportion of the new coin. This begs the question, who owned how much at 8820? Are there any conflicts of interest?

How to convert PTS->MMC ? Just copy PTS wallet to cover MMC wallet ?
Look here - http://memorycoin.montaxx.me/howto.phpHow to extract ProtoShares-qt Private Key To get your Private Key you have to start your wallet first. Now click on Help and choose Debug window. Now here we change to the tab Console and type in: walletpassphrase "YOUR WALLET PASSWORD" 600 And after that: dumpprivkey YourPTSAddress Now your Private key will be shown. Importing Private Key to MemoryCoin Wallet Now download the MemoryCoin Wallet from the Downloads section and fire it up. Here you need to go to the Debug Console again. Now type in: importprivkey YourPrivKey and you should get your first MMC.

Why exactly 8820?! And maybe someone can explain how exactly ProtoShares are related to MemoryCoin.
I'm don't see why this Coin wasn't created as its own Project under a new name with a fresh chain.

Difficullty readjustement is too quick. It doesn't take into account variance with only a 12 block check.
The result are very high jump and fall that have little correlation with real hashrate

This 48 hour period of low rewards is to ensure everyone can mine, can compile etc . . . the real serious mining starts on Tuesday.
...sounds hopefull, still no coins seen...

0.54 Hashes per minute, how do I stack up?
|
Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

That's nice. 48 hours to set up my 100'000+ Botnet. Don't know how many cpus support aes-ni. Time to mine some MMC Amazing to me that you openly talk about who you are infecting people to mine this coin. Sickening.

Any idea what could be causing this error? When it happens memorycoind terminates. Running MemoryCoinMiner with 1 transactions in block (195 bytes) Start Search terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::exception_detail::clone_impl<boost::exception_detail::error_info_injector<boost::thread_resource_error> >' what(): boost::thread_resource_error: Resource temporarily unavailable
