For those of you joining us on page 31.

I would accept a 10% increase in hash power or a 10% refund.

Its would be right!
Btmine what do you think about it?

hmmmm,

how many ppl are interested in home assembly?

i have got idea: how much it would cost to get parts, and to build miners by our selves? and what would be shipping time?

i think that some ppl here  would be interested in that option if it is faster and cheaper......

should i put this in different topic?

anyway

btmine good job, some bumps on a ride, but hay where is a fun without that. Cheesy
i haven't got mine miner yet, but it was a weekend so now i am sure that even hard working ppl from china have to have a break sometimes... Cheesy

now i am not sure if i was reading it wrong, but isn't there somewhere a line that was saying from 4-7 days for shipping? so if i have paid on 07 and 7 days is 14-th + 2 weekend days... i am not concerned at all. still no tracking number, but  hay day or two more i can wait. Cheesy

anyway if there was line:"shipping in 4-7 days" only problem that i can see is one they they haven't put "weekend days not included".

but if there was:"delivery in 4-7 days" then i'll give it couple more days anyway... Cheesy weekend days can't be counted in total sum of days anyway....

so ppl when you start counting how much time has passed, please do not count weekend days and everything is peachy. Cheesy

Well, I just blew the breaker box in my apt running ONE of these things (plus a microwave). I have two.

I'm probably going to sell them because I don't have anywhere to plug them in. I'm planning to ask around tomorrow to see if people have the power, space, and love the sound of loud vacuums, but you really need to be on top of these things for when they inevitably go down.

I'll post a sale listing after I get them both up and hashing at 220-240Gh/s. Don't mind selling them, but HATE the idea of losing so much while they sit idle Sad Sad Sad

That sucks bro. You blew the whole breaker box from just one machine and a microwave? You could always use the stove plug or the dryer if you have one in your apartment while you wait for sale.

I would just be stupid enough to want to assemble one of these. Let me know if you are spearheading this project. The only draw back is that you have to buy in bulk. Getting the blades to run would not be so tough its just a matter of the case or lack there of. The antminer ones don't even have a case or a PSU. I'm pretty sure we can find the supplier of the blades unless they are populating the boards themselves and even that is not out of the reach of the home tools.

Who needs case or psu?  I stripped my bfl gear of cases and used my own psus. House didn't catch on fire.

As long as the cards are housed, all is well in the world.

Took mine apart and saw that half the miner blocks were unplugged. Plugged them in and now I'm at 215-225Gh/s.

And yeah, about the housing. I took 3 of the 6 sides off my case so I could connect/reconnect all of the things. Looks better, weighs less, and sounds better too.

BTW this draws 888W at the wall @1400, with 2 750W 80+ Platinum PSUs. With two bronze or non-80+ PSUs, I could see going over 1000W easy

can you post some pics of how its connected? would it be possible to power it with just 1 1200w psu and if so what connectors would be need3ed?

I'll post some pics later, but you need 1 motherboard connector, 1 EPS connector (4 pin) and 2 PCIe connectors (4 pin) PER BOARD (2 boards per miner). So 2 motherboard connectors, 2 EPS connectors and 4 PCIe connectors total

Why don't you try just turn on your second PSU with short connecting pin 13 and 14 on ATX connector. You will have 12V on PCIE and CPU connectors which is needed for miner to work.
I'm not sure that miner is using power from ATX connector, only starting it with two pins:
