XPY is an OK coin as far as alts go. At least it has some niche edge to it. But not really a challenge to DRK either way in what they offer individually. (Should I buy XPY ).

I'm hoping this is sarcasm in believing Paycoin is an "OK coin as far as alts go. At least it has some niche edge to it."

why is everyone buying so soon? Let the panic run wild for about 65 minutes.
Buy now...maybe you can't later Anything below $100 is cheap. Come on now, I bought a few more...take it back up to 64

Anyone else having trouble running the latest binary for Linux with p2pool? Ever since I upgraded to the latest version I've been unable to get p2pool to connect on port 9999: 2015-01-16 16:38:13.821624 p2pool (version 81fc6c5-dirty) 2015-01-16 16:38:13.821724 2015-01-16 16:38:13.821780 Testing bitcoind RPC connection to ' http://127.0.0.1:9998/' with username 'IYFTechDRK'... 2015-01-16 16:38:13.850612 ...success! 2015-01-16 16:38:13.850710 Current block hash: 5f2afca31990cbc9c8be1722088daafeac266253c55a1e7f06a47 2015-01-16 16:38:13.850753 Current block height: 204176 2015-01-16 16:38:13.850777 2015-01-16 16:38:13.850815 Testing bitcoind P2P connection to '127.0.0.1:9999'... 2015-01-16 16:38:18.851266 ...taking a while. Common reasons for this include all of bitcoind's connection slots being used... Cheers. Rolled back to the previous version & everything is working again - so it would seem that the latest binary is broken with p2pool? Anyone? Its better to ask questions like this on Darkcointalk. Or raise it as an issue on Jira. I think there is a thread over there covering this issue. Vertoe is investigating I think. I posted this on Darkcoin forum for you There's no tech support for Darkcoin here, only buy/sell BS I'm afraid.........

Bump... Anybody have feedback on this? I simply don't have the background needed to really understand this, but it looks to me like this could be an issue? If this has already been addressed, could somebody please toss a link my way? I think this was already addressed by Vertoe. It gets resolved with 0.9.4 and we either already implemented that or will soon. Someone from the dev team may be able to answer. Thank you Minotaur! I see Evan just posted... Kind sir, do you have any wisdom on this subject?

Did Vertoe actually implement a fix before the Bitcoin Core team did? That'd be awesome to taut, LOL!

Just upgraded to the new client and deleted peers.dat. I'm doing some mixing and it seems more slick. The screen layout is ruined for my little netbook, though. The old client used to maximise in Lubuntu 14.04 to fit the screen properly. I'm now left with this in the new client: As you can see: I'm missing the lower half of the screen on my little 1024x600 display. The older client fitted perfectly and I'm now stuck when it comes to selecting/deselecting Darksend. The bottom part is still cropped when I've got the window resized inside the display. Any ideas for a workaround?

I remember something that permit have higher resolution (always display the same) be the screen was scroling to show hidden part ( lower for you)

More kudos to the team, and I suspect specifically to Vertoe... I use Arch Linux and love the way it recompiles with a simple command. Lastnight this did not work for 0.11 due to some missing dependencies. Tried again this PM and it worked fine. A great big THANK You, to whoever deserves it!

The previous client worked fine though and I like this little old netbook (a U180). EDIT: Just found a workaround, by dragging and dropping the main menu bar from accross the top to down the left hand side of the window. I should have tried that before posting! :-)
