I know this is off topic but there are people who use vps services here so I'll ask here:
I need a cheap vps service to setup a vpn server for my own use. Social media sites (twitter) ara blocked in my country so I need a vpn server to use with my phone and computer.
I used digitalocean before but it was slow and I get a notice that I downloaded a torrent and I do not like the providers spy on me like this so I closed my account.
I know my way around linux so I can setup my own vpn server. A small instance will be enough.
Try searching for something that meets your needs here: http://lowendbox.com/It will be good for your Chi

Let me make some advertising for nice guy poiuty. He is very active in promotion DASH in Russian internet. He is experienced in hosting and in Web-programming (he created dash.org.ru). And now he is starting his own MASTERNODE HOSTING SERVICEMain advantages:1. It is completely anonymous and automatic. You can setup everything by yourself without contacting him. You don't need to pay for service manually - payments are processing automatically by Dash Donation function! 2. It is open-source - so everybody can open same services for Dash MN operators. More MN-hostings we have - more decentralization for DASH! 3. Reliable server is located in France. Welcome! https://dashtalk.org/threads/dash-org-ru-masternode-hosting.5723/

It is for free, donation only? Ups, found it, sorry: "It means you are sending to our service 10% of your total Masternode earnings. We are constantly monitoring this setting. If your percentage is less than minimal donate limit - your Masternode will be switched off without notice. Number of active MNs: 2 | Number of available MNs: 2 | Minimal donation limit: 10%"

I have found that my personal minimum is 1 core 512 mb ram but prefer the box I have now, which has 4 cores and 1gb ram where I run 2 masternodes (2 IP) I don't think I need that many cores, it just comes that way, but the ram is at 97%. and thanks Tungfa, that was a great article link.

We need to make sure that if they use DarkSend code, that they call it DarkSend.

We need to make sure that if they use DarkSend code, that they call it DarkSend. No Darksend for them: "...will not come with 'Masternodes' ...it will function as a special type of transaction that will float on the memory pool until it matches other interested users..."EDIT -------- Doesn't sound scalable to me.

Definitiley scalable, in fact, the more the better it will work, but I don't see the model scale at all. For it to work, you'd need it to be pre-scaled for the scaling to actually happen, which is a conundrum mixed with a paradox. So adoption cannot happen in a pre-scaled condition, as no mixing would ever occur, so no mass adoption is feasible (unless devs themselves match the mem pool to keep it going). See what I mean there? ... DarkSend is just plain brilliant. 2 in 1. Privacy through true digital fungibility.

After reading the Coinshuffle paper I really don't see the downside. They require participants willing to shuffle (same as Darksend), the more participants the better, each participant cannot identify the others... Of course the change address problem upon spending is the same but thats not related directly to the Coinshuffle protocol.
Am I missing something?

Is the mixing ahead-of-time? If not, that could be a huge drawback.

CoinShuffle
CoinShuffle is proposed by researchers from Saarland University in 2014.[7] It further develops CoinJoin concept and increases privacy by not requiring any trusted third-party to be involved into mixed transaction creation. In the original research paper presented at the 19th European Symposium on Research in Computer Security CoinShuffe is described as a completely decentralized coin mixing protocol «inspired by CoinJoin to ensure security against theft and by the accountable anonymous group communication protocol Dissent to ensure anonymity as well as robustness against DoS attacks».[7]
Only proof-of-concept implementation of CoinShuffle protocol is available at the moment. It is claimed to be written purely to evaluate the feasibility and performance.[8]
Security issues
It is claimed that centralized design of mixing service implementations can't offer privacy guarantees.[9] Moreover other participants also can perform logging and reveal this information later.
The level of anonymity offered by CoinJoin can be diminished if the protocol is implemented incorrectly. One such flaw was identified in blockchain.info's SharedCoin mixing service. Security consultant Kristov Atlas,[10] author of the book Anonymous Bitcoin,[11] detailed the flaw in an article entitled Weak Privacy Guarantees for SharedCoin Mixing Service.[12] Here he states "the SharedCoin service should be used only as a light protective measure for financial privacy". As part of his research the author developed a tool called 'CoinJoin Sudoku'[13] that could identify SharedCoin transactions and detect relationships between specific payments and payees.[14]
i'm curious what the findings will be of a code audit of CoinShuffle and how they will handle those findings..
