Crap on a cracker. Alt coin prices just keep going down. Soon 10 mhash sec will take 20 days to make a bitcoin at this rate. Not much one can do at this point except to mine in a speculative manner and hold for better days which i am not a big fan off in a decling overall market. Big sigh.
the resons behind falling prices : multipools like pw and clevermine thgat selling huge amount of coins every day dogecoin droped to 122 and i think soon we will mine ltc forever

the resons behind falling prices : multipools like pw and clevermine thgat selling huge amount of coins every day dogecoin droped to 122 and i think soon we will mine ltc forever Ahh, that's just a load of crap. The reason for the falling prices is a lack of speculator interest. BTC is suffering a bit right now, and when that happens, interest fades away from the shit coins. When interest in BTC is high, you get more speculators putting money into the smaller coins in hopes of getting rich. If it wasn't WafflePool, CleverMining, MiddleCoin, etc mining these coins, then someone else would be mining them and selling them - makes no difference if it is a multi-pool or not. Crap coins are crap, and that's the reason for declining interesting/profitability. The majority of scrypt coins will likely die out this year.

I agree and I don't think this is OT because it's of interest to wafflepool for there to be a strong scrypt coin market. I look at it like a sort of royalty drama where legacy coins such as BTC and LTC take there place as 1st and 2nd (King and Queen?) because of seniority and the fact that they each have strong and viable economic support through various businesses that take both crypto currencies. But that's not to say that other coins can't challenge for a place of nobility. Doge and some others for example have challenged the gauntlet and certainly earned Lancelot-like notoriety. And that's the future of alt-coins. How viable and reputable will each alt-coin be? It's entirely up to the energy put into them by the supporting community. When you see the high-vis PR that DOGE enjoys from philanthropic endeavors then you begin to see what I'mt talking about.

Interesting...
MIddlecoin has less than half as much hash as wafflepool but gaining more than half the amount of bitcoin per day.
Something not right here

Not sure where the heck you are getting that from... You realize the MC pool "Balance" never gets anywhere close to 0, right? Middlecoin has been significantly less profitable then WafflePool recently.

Sorry guys I love the pool but im out. Im not even making enough to cover power costs anymore Shame. Will have to find cheaper power, ASICS or just wait for prices to pick up. Good luck all.

Looks like another spike in hash rate on LTC. I wonder if it is the Gridseed ASIC coming on line. It might start pushing out the GPU's.

I dont think it would be the gridseeds. The only thing they have going for them is lower power consumption. In terms of price vs their hash, GPUs still win. It takes at least 2 gridseeds to get around 700kh/s But if you're like me and electricity is expensive, ASICs are the way to go now. Im seriously thinking about selling my GPUs, so yeah they are getting pushed out.

GPUs will need to move to ASIC resistant coins.

It's just waffle and the other MPs switching to 60%+ litecoin since all the other altcoins' profits are in the shitter right now.

Hi Guys, I am getting 8 to 10% stale and around 4% rejects. How can I reduce this? I am connecting to the EU Server. I have now been mining for about 4 days. I had restarted my pc a few times to see if there is some problem with the machine, but always it returns back to the same stale and reject.
I haven't been getting any stale/rejects when mining with WemineLTC and WemineALL, but the total pay out for day was much less compared to wafflepool.

Slight exaggeration perhaps? I live in an area where power is fairly expensive but I'm still making more than the power cost for my cards mining on waffle.

Waffle is too large. If it were 1/10 the size (which is larger than it was a few weeks ago when I first joined) it could mine the alt coins without destroying them.

I need to understand why my total hashrate constantly is 2mh/s lower than it really it.
I have 2 machines running making a total of 6700kh/s at the moment, and i never ever ever see my rate on the website go above 5mh/s Why is this?

It's that a bunch of new hash can be deployed. AMD hasn't been keeping up with the demand leading to a huge price spike in gpus and shortages.
