what the hell is new miner with 2% donate? I missed something?.. I have only 2310 on Toxic with 1200 gpu Sad
so that shows us that perfomance can be increased huge by code improving only?

Quick mining question, what is WU? I am mining at 2.1 Mh/s on 2 cards and my WU is .030/m  what does that mean?

it appears to be the number of diff1 shares work / minute (accepted or rejected)., it should be as high as possible

    You are getting
SCAMMED

  • The kernel is word for word the same as sph-sgminer.
  • 40% more FREE MONEY (for just a teeny bit of malware) didn't sound suspicious?
  • 2% mining at 10000x your normal worksize is not 2%.
  • Hash rate goes up but the Work Utility (which is what pools actually pay you for) goes down. Why would that be? Think about it.
  • He had a source to compile. Says he is working on releasing the source but is just stalling to milk you suckers for as long as possible.
mmmmmmmmmm he's yankin your withered teets hard till the btc run dry. Left right left is how you prefer it? Make the moo noise, little heffers.

  • This guy straight up stole other people's work and hijacks your rigs juuuuust a weeee bit. He already proved he doesn't give a flying &^% about other people... Especially YOU.

40% increased botnet power. Congrats, you all are the absolute dumbest fvcks on this forum and that aint an easy task to achieve. But you did it. Gobbled that hijacker right on up. Probably on the same computer you keep your wallets, too. Oh Great News! Check your email spam folder. Looks like you just won the Ethiopian National lottery and they need your bank account info to send the check.

Idiots.

What other surprises might be lurking in this bit o hijackin release? Spoiler: You deserve what happens next.

[/list]

Proof or just retarded conjecture?

retarded conjecture.
After rigorous testing I did not find anything malicious in his optimized release.

Anyone using a Kill-a-What or Belkin Conserve Insight device to measure wattage of their rigs while running SGminer?
Curious as to what the power draw is.

thanks!

Whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right.

750 ti is double less powerfool then 280x - why hashrate in x11 is equal?
can it be not optimized code in sph-sgminer? so in future it can be improved?

it's due to maxwell technology, maybe when amd will release their new 3xx series, there will be a match for them

Ok I have been reading maxwell crap every second post, can you explain me how this technology is something special and not just underused amd hardware due to code not optimized?.

Cheers!.

dunno about the maxwell tech sincerely, but i know that amd miner is not optimized well, yet

Thanks reda.
I was asking since my wattage for my rig of four 280x cards went from about 500w to 1500w for no apparent reason.

Was wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

Why the efficiency is lower at lower VDDC? The power consumption increased squarely with the voltage, so the efficiency should be lower.

For my mining rigs using the girino miner, with combination of 7970 and 7990 (total 8 GPUs), the power consumption is 770W, the hash rate is 19.5 MH/s, so it is 25 kH/s/W.

I underclock and undervoltage. Vcore = 0.94v, core/memory clock = 830/1000MHz.

I'm trying to get SGminer to work for my Radeon 4870.
An oldie, but for x11 still very usefull..

I'v tried several version of SGminer, newste, older ones, but all have a more or less similar problem the blake.cl
Code:
[22:59:11] Started sgminer 4.1.0-103-g00015
[22:59:11] Kernel darkcoin is experimental.
[22:59:11] Error -11: Building Program (clBuildProgram)

[22:59:11] Failed to init GPU thread 0, disabling device 0
[22:59:11] Restarting the GPU from the menu will not fix this.
[22:59:11] Try restarting sgminer.
Press enter to continue:

older version gives this error:

I have removed AMD catalyst fylly and downgrade to 13.1 driver and still nothing. Mining in scrypt mode works flawless...
But i want darkcoin kernel to be used!

Anyone with some good ideas?

Well, the 4870 supports an older OpenCL 1.0 which might mean it doesn't support including files that are not relative to it's path(in this case, temp folder). And perhaps other features which these OpenCL kernels are using that it doesn't support.

Can DRK be mined on Nvidia cards?

yes and it is more efficient at the moment Sad.

60 watt Nvidia GTX 750ti beats out an AMD HD7970/280X and hash at 2.8 mh/s on X11...lol

Gah damn!! I just got my 780Ti going and am getting close to 6Mh/s

Just posting some numbers in X11 mining...nvidia very good for now:
Geforce 670m (yes, mobile!) Fermi Core @ Overclocked = 1.0MH/s
Radeon 6770m@ Overclocked =around 450KH/s
Intel i7 3610QM Ivy Bridge mobile = 380KH/s

Anyone on Maxwell 860M?

Waiting for 800 desktop series Maxwell core, that will rock.

Sooo. does anyone know why my WU could be so low? Just testing a few settings out... but hell, I've been mining for a couple of hours here and there for the last couple of days, and while I'm accepting shares, I'm not getting paid jack!

Hello I am having a problem running sgminer with the -k , I have downloaded the version from the first page of the thread.

I am trying to mine from my laptop with a Intel HD Graphics 4000, I know I wont get much but want to get used to mining. I have set up two workers in a pool one for CPU and one for GPU, the CPU mining is working ok.

When I run sgminer from .bat or from command line with the '-k darkcoin' included it wont start mining I get a build error about blake.cl .
If I run sgminer without the '-k darkcoin' it starts to mine but I get a lot of HW errors, like 500 easy in one minute. I read some where to make sure to use the -k option to cut down / stop HW errors, but alas I can not get it to work with that option.

I have manually installed the latest Intel graphics drivers, I notice in control panel in the list of programs to un install there is OpenCL 1.1, I have tried to find a download for 1.2 but the Intel link doesnt work for me, could this be my problem?

Also I have tried running the -k option with different coin names but get the same problem.

Thanks for any help
