4.2.0 does not work with Groestlcoin on Drawfpool.
have you tried --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500 or --difficulty-multiplier 256 No why would the dif matter? There are zero accepts/rejects but it hashes. 4.1.0 works so I am good with that. Also I am having an issue on 4.10 on my other system where the miner drops to a command prompt with no error. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? it sounds like you are trying for too high a diff on that pool so you would need --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500 provided you are actually using one of the miners from the OP Important! A new option was added: --difficulty-multiplier. It allows to set stratum difficulty multiplier. For QubitCoin, Quark and Animecoin it will be usually 256. For Groestlcoin, Fuguecoin and Twecoin it will be usually 0.0039062500 (1/256). Default value is 1.0. If you have "share above target" errors then set it to 256. If difficulty required by pool is strangely large, set it to 0.0039062500 (1/256). Other values are unlikely to be used. Hopefully this will fix all remaining stratum problems.

I'll try it with the dif but I see no reason why that would effect the pool from not accepting OR rejecting any shares. AFA the 4.1.0 version that works fine on my main system Do you have any clue why it just drops out of the program to a cmd prompt after trying to initialize the gpus's? There is no error whatsoever. Very irritating a program that exits without a code.

Found the issue. I even found it a year ago and forgot it. I notified the Dev. Back then and he assured me it would be fixed.
You cannot use the "Verbose" flag either in the config file or the command line.
This should be in the documentation but it isn't.

I'm going to mine a few days before messing with it again. Edit: OK, I have tested with 4.1.0-103-g00015 and shares are now being accepted. Thx alot. I'm getting the exact same hash as on 4.1.0, Isn't this version supposed to increase hash? Also I found It was an eye failure with the 4.2.0 misread. I skimmed the file and missed the "TBA" and assumed (I KNOW ) It was just a version header. OK, I can confirm that setting the verbose flag is fixed in 4.1.0-103-g00015

hmm dont know anything about ubuntu this should work for linux, maybe you can figure out any changes necessary git clone git://github.com/prettyhatemachine/sph-sgminer.git cd sph-sgminer copy ADL files to ADL_SDK (look in this folder for where to get them) autoreconf -fvi ./configure CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" --enable-opencl make then to run it ./sgminer -k darkcoin -o <host>:<port> -u <user> -p <password> -I 18

Hi guys, I'm an experienced Scrypt Miner, but am new to X11, and I just wanted some feedback on whether my stats are looking healthy. I am currently running 2x 280x GPUs. Here's my SGMiner stats after ~30min: sgminer 4.1.0-103-g00015 - Started: [2014-04-29 23:19:21] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (5s):4.399M (avg):4.401Mh/s | A:2 R:0 HW:0 WU:0.061/m ST: 2 SS: 0 NB: 15 LW: 4598 GF: 0 RF: 0 Connected to Pool 0 (stratum) diff 0.018 as user xxxxxxx Block: 120d76be... Points of concern for me are the small number of accepts, and apparently tiny work units per minute. Also of concern is the 'Discarded' stat in CGWatcher which as at the time of this screenshot was showing 1000. Interestingly CGWatcher shows 190 accepts. Finally, I'm mining using the CoinMine.pw pool, and while the pool site is showing me good hash rate, I can't see any coins earned after an hour.

That looks correct to me The reason for the small number of accepts is because x11 works on very small units if you look you will see you are doing .061 WU/m which is about .6 accepted every 10 min I suppose some decimal points on accepted and rejected should be added edit: also you will not show any coins earned untill the pool finds a block, so if there if the pool has a small hash rate it may take a while

the miner stop working if there isn't a bat file for every desktop shortcut
so if you create just the desktop shortcut without the bat file in the sgminer folder, you get "Application has stopped working" error
in the previous version there wasn't this problem...a bit lame if you ask me

Ever since I switched to X11 and I'm using the modified SGminer, I'm having a lot of problems connecting to pools. SGminer start and then reports "Waiting for work to be available from pools". Then it closes and CGwatcher restarts it. This goes on until eventually it will connect to a pool. I think this is a bug that has been ported into SGminer from from CGminer reported here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg3464355#msg3464355and acknowledged as a bug here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg3473923#msg3473923Does anybody else have this same problem? I'm using the windows binaries compiled by badman74 and have tried both the first (DRK only) and the last version (lots of coins) but I keep having the same problem. 0.1 BTC bounty for the person that can solve this for me.
