no more support. Dev not here.
I totally understand that you are disappointed right now... but please try to find the patience AT LEAST until the next update... we already know that the devs are working on an update of the client... hopefully they had time to work on other things too. I understand that the dev is working on a new client and trying to get articles, but it does seem a bit off that he can't get more done/update once a day. The devs took over $100K in the IPO. It hasn't been used to set a floor, it hasn't been used to boost the coin. If they have all that money, they should be spending all their work time on the coin. If the community feels shaken, they should be helping to chill it out. I think Kekkak is brilliant, and this coin has potential. But there are things that need to be changed if we want this coin to survive.

Well anyone with BlackCoin in their bags has seen a 4 fold price increase in 3 days. I bought this morning at the then current high and i have made more on that than 24 hours of mining (top 30 @ 1gh hash). Blackcoin is POS and has a very talented dev/market team supported by a strong community. We have a talented but near silent dev and strong community. A multipool requires competent people working the markets, that is to say blackcoin doesn't flood the market with altcoins. They disburse them across all the exchanges (automated where possible). If they devalue the alts then they shoot themselves in the foot.
As for HVC, I have supported it from day 1. HVC is POW and multipool is unlikely beneficial to the coin at this stage. As has been mentioned getting HVC accepted with some more merchants would probably be the single best thing right now. Voting is voting, big miners mine for profit (typically dumping) and low vote goes against their quick profits. Unfortunately they also are the ones with the most credited votes. Campaigning the big dogs to lower their vote isn't likely gonna happen either. HVC is still strong and a great algo. I think people are panicking too soon. The only issue with HVC right now is the sustain phase. We'll just have to see how it pans out i guess.
I invested in BC just coincidentally 3.5BTC last Friday 11.4 (heard some rumor on Twitter) at price 9500SAT, made so far 30BTC and still holding like a boss In the meantime still mining HVC. By end of this week BC should be cca 150K sat. I promise I buy few thousands of HVC to support it when have 50 BTC in my wallet. I still believe HVC has great potential and I hope that Thunderclap action will hit big audience. Just look what adding BC to Coinkite caused...total collapse of altcoin world, everybody got crazy to get some BC. :-) When this storm is over and BC spits out couple of new millionaires, the altcoin world should return to normal and miners will look for new mining opportunuties as the BC train is already running too fast to jump on it.

I get that the devs have a hands off stance towards the vote, they absolutely should. I appreciate that they always show up to put out the fires, having a little more of a presence here might have prevented some of these fires. A little more activity from the devs would be good for the coin and community. Before the HVC tunderclap goes off it would be great to see a finalized heavycoin and logo. More information should be added to HVC cryptsy page https://www.cryptsy.com/currencies/view/138 Keep up the good work and Hold down the vote! Would be great to see sub 500 for next block reward!

I'm in of course and changing over my rigs right now. Come on guys, send a message. If you're on ZHPool, move your traffic/hashing over to http://hvc.nonce-pool.com until they change their ways on voting setup of the pool! We need more rigs on Nonce!

Nonce has low hash rate right now compared to the big 2 pools and we need more people to move over with a vote of 1. Already found 3 blocks in the last hour. Because the hash rate is so low you get A VERY BIG CHUNK of the shares compared to other pool every time a block is found. http://hvc.nonce-pool.com has a 0% pool fee and only 0.01 (not 0.1) HVC transfer fee. <-- keep more of your money!!! Join the REVOLUTION! Make your voice heard, switch to nonce!

util.h:25:28: error: boost/thread.hpp: No such file or directory
Boost is installed, I've built several other coins successfully on this machine.
No, it does not seem boost is installed. Try installing also the -devel packages. It's there: root@testcoin:~ # ls -larths /usr/local/include/boost/thread.hpp 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 839B Apr 11 16:38 /usr/local/include/boost/thread.hpp
Anyway, I just tried it with the latest source from Git and it builds. Whatever was changed fixed the issue: fetch -o /tmp/heavycoin.shar http://www.unibia.com/unibianet/sites/default/files/heavycoin.shar_.txt cd /usr/ports/net-p2p/ sh /tmp/heavycoin.shar cd heavycoin make config make install clean

For me it shows up as ZERO pool fee. Either way both pools charge 1% at most. ZHP charges 0.1 per transfer and Nonce charges 0.01 (1/10 the transfer fee) which can only be considered a good thing for miners. On ZHP the last 3 of 5 blocks all have voting of 1024. This pool is currently not doing the community any favors. On Nonce only 1 of the last 13 votes is a 1024. I have reached out to the nonce pool admins via their contact form (about a half hour ago) to point to our thread and express our desire to have them change the default vote of configs to 1. I'll post a summary of their reply back here once I get it. But regardless, at least they choose a mid-point vote of 512 instead of a "raping" vote of 1024 which is why I suggested we use them. Plus their infrastructure just seems to be solid and works with no issues. BTW, are you joining us on Nonce? Come on, you know you want to. LOL Carlo

I sent Nonce an email asking them to change the default vote to 0 or 1 as well, every little bit helps! The bigger payouts are nice! In the last 24 hours I got 275 HVC mining on Zhpool ( 11.4 coins per hour ). In the last 6 hours mining at Nonce I've mined 114 HVC ( 19 coins per hour ). Blocks take longer to find so be patient, but its worth it. Very happy I switched!!

] no support. not bussiness coin. no have any team. But responsive as only 2 of us sent a request to change the vote to 1 which they did in a short time frame. The website and stats work very well with no delays. Their stratum servers are very fast at least in the US. Low transfer rate (1/10 lower). Always had high payouts. Not sure what there is to complain about. I just wish more people would move to this pool to bring the hash rate up.

Changed my stats post around a bit - mostly re-organizing the graphs, adding a 'Pool voting' bit. Still not sure who's finding those 'other' blocks to begin with, if anybody knows if there's an active pool missing, let me know. Otherwise I guess it's just somebody|ies with a fair bit of hashing power Also no idea what's going on with miningpoolhub's luck.
