RCB has a habit of being inconsistent. If they perform well in one match, then you can be more or less sure that they will perform in a pathetic manner during the next match. They do have some of the biggest names in their squad, such as Virat Kohli, Aaron Finch, AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal. But with such a strong squad, if you check the stats then you can see that they have underperformed.
Looks like you are right. I have no idea why Kohli keeps giving chances to Siraj even after witnessing his horrible bowling year after year. They could have restricted DC to a lower total if they fielded better and didn't drop catches. They already lost 3 wickets now and are in huge trouble unless Kohli can string together a big partnership with other players down the order. DC is seriously proving to be a big contender for this year's title. Then as expected Delhi Capitals register their 59 runs. A team like RCB who have some great batsmen in their squad unfortunately always having issue of being inconsistent. Having problem to execute the performance properly, looking very immatured by performance. DC were quite good today in both departments and deserve to be on the winning side.

MI vs RR? I feel like RR will bounce back through this match since MI have a strong batting department, but their bowling department still has plenty of issues. DC were quite good today in both departments and deserve to be on the winning side.
Agreed. I feel like DC have better chances at winning the cup when compared to teams like CSK and MI this time around since their batting and bowling departments are pretty much set. Even their substitutes are great. Rabada is easily my favorite DC bowler.

Don't forget DC played better cricket only on Sharjah but this match will be on Abu Dhabi so this is going to be tough task for DC and for MI they are into the form pretty quickly compared to their previous season and have best ever squad compared to other teams where big names along with young talents are present.

Yes, if we look at the points table and their performance in the last 5 matches then DC has a chance of wining this IPL but MI are also a strong team and they can bounce back anytime. There are still plenty of matches to be played and it is still too early to come to a conclusion. In my opinion, out of the top 3 teams in the points table anyone can be the winner.

Rabada is underrated. On average, the teams are scoring anywhere from 60 to 90 runs in the last 5 overs, at the rate of 12 to 15 runs per over. However, Rabada bowls most of his overs at this stage and he concedes only 6 to 8 runs per over. On top of that he takes wickets at regular intervals as well. So far, he has played an important role in all of DC's matches.

In each match, he bowled 4 overs and gave less than 30 runs. And took important wickets. I am hopeful that he will be able to maintain his great performance.

Delhi Capitals probably have the best opening bowling pair in Rabada/Nortje. What makes the difference is their bowling at the depth overs. They have conceded less runs, when compared to all the other teams in overs 16 to 20. Their spin bowling options also look quite strong, with Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin making sure that the absence of Amit Mishra is not felt.

It's official that SunRisers Hyderabad one of the best wing Bhuvneshwar Kumar will miss the rest of the matches in this IPL session. This gap in their bowling unit put a big pressure others, Sandeed Sharma and Prithvi Raj will now have to play big role since competition is so high right now. My wishes towards Kumar for quick recovery.

Today's match also turning into an one side game, MI vs RR. MI posted 193 runs for 20 overs and bowlers didn't really bowled well today and now RR lost 4 wickets in no time only Buttler is their last hope who already scored 50 when the team total is 74.

Yup.. yesterday the Delhi Capitals thrashed the Royal Challengers Bangalore by 59 runs. And for today's match the victory margin may be even bigger. If Mumbai Indians wins this match, then they would have won 3 matches in a row. Similarly, this will be the third consecutive defeat for the Rajasthan Royals. Once you lose the momentum, it is very difficult to make a comeback.

MI won another one by a big margin. Are we going to see them win the title yet again? I still think DC is a better team this time around when compared to them though. RR and Punjab are going down after their initial momentum. CSK and RCB both going down very badly even both also have some good and exciting players in ranks.
I wouldn't rule out CSK so easily. They have always made it to the playoffs so far and I don't they will break that streak very easily. Did you see the manner in which they crushed Punjab in the last game? Never rule out CSK.

Mumbai Indians bowling department is delivering their best from both sides. They have got talented bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Rahul chahar who are playing the key role this time. Even their batting lineup is enough strong to make competitive total in every match. If you look at other teams then you will find gaps between fast and spin bowlers combination but MI isn't facing any problem in this field and due to this reason they are one step ahead than other still now. Alrhough its cricket and anything can happen but if they can continue the same performance then we can expect that they will gonna get the trophy again.

CSK made a comeback by 10 wicket won against KXIP and RCB also made great comeback in their previous matches except the last one but stil we can't say clearly which team is going to be on the playoffs.Look at RR even the experienced batsmen failed against MI only Buttler gave resistance while all other wickets are falling every over.

I think KXIP are unable to find their winning combination. At the beginning of the IPL this team looked pretty strong and a potential winner of the league especially after that innings played by KL Rahul and Mayank Aggarwal. But yes you are right they are not being flexible with the team now. Continuously playing with the same old players doesn't helps you especially when they have been out of form from long time. Similarly Pooran is also not consistent. Their batting order starts at KL Rahul and ends at Mayank Aggarwal. Similar issue is with bowling. No consistent foreign bowler. Both Chris Jordan and Sheldon Cotrell play one good match followed by a bad match. They need to revamp the team for a match by adding gayle and a few changes in the batting/bowling order.

RR and Punjab are going down after their initial momentum. The most balanced teams have a better chance to win the tournament. KXIP and RR performed better in the beginning, because their individual players did well (KL Rahul / Mayank Agarwal in the case of KXIP, and Sanju Samson/Steve Smith in the case of Rajasthan Royals). But these players can't win matches all the time, and the others also need to contribute. MI and DC are performing well, because they have the most balanced teams.

As per the reports gayle is not really fit to play games that is why they are going with Maxwell again and recently he played good for his nation but keep failing miserably when it comes to IPL tournament for years.I think it is better to add Neesham back into the team because he is somewhat give better stability in the bowling because that is the place KXIP were lacking for now.

Maxwell should be promoted up the order and once he gets going he could clear any boundary and not sure what is the fitness issue with Gayle but if he is in the team he could change any match even at this age.
What about today's match, i am confused which team to pick. I expect CSK to play better after they dominated the last match but the rest of the players were not tested. They need to promote Sam Curran up the order as he is striking the ball well in this IPL.

Russel and E. Morgan. I think this 3 is the best on their position. N. Rana and D. Karthik also good player. On the other hand, CSK is a good team also. But they have not any players who are playing well on a regular basis except du Plessis. That's why I bet on KKR today.
