Only 75 runs lead LOL! What was the Indian team thinking? Just thinking about Virat's PR team after constant failure in the BGT, he still is still part of playing 11 whereas KL Rahul was stripped from his vice captainship and is out of the test team. Okay! I remember he did score a ton against Bangladesh in Bangladesh. When will start scoring on home grounds? This test match either would have nail bitting finish tomorrow or will be completely dominated by the Australian side. Another match in the BGT that ends on the 3rd day.

Edit: Forgot to mention the star bowler Umesh Yadav. He took 3 wickets in just 5 overs on a pitch that supports spinners and not pacers. Why is no one talking about him on this thread?

So India ended their 2nd innings on 163 runs with lead of 75 runs , all batsman performed almost same because of Australia balling and pitch conditions.
Now you cannot tell how things will be tomorrow as Australia can got all out before 75 runs because of Indian ballers or they can win the test as expected.

Nah match is almost gone. Our bowlers are good but it's too much to ask IMO. Target is not big and there would be no scorecard pressure on Australia, they only need one quick burst from the bat so no matter how good your bowlers are, it's tough to defend. There might be a slight chance if Australia are 4 down in 10 odd runs.

It would be much better if Australia level the series.

These day test cricket is getting to be more interesting than the ODI and T20 format cricket. Most of the matches are getting over by the third day. Some seems like ending on the second day itself. With the ongoing South Africa vs West Indies 1^st Test match, on the third day South Africa have ended its second innings for just 116 runs. Now West Indies need to reach the target of 247 runs to win the match.

In the other match on the second day Australia have ended its first innings and India is at 141/7 with Pujara and Axar Patel on the crease. Possibly India will score a maximum of 200 runs. If that happens India will be leading around 120 runs and the same will be reached by Australia by the first session of day 3.

I am also feeling very good with now we have mostly test matches ending in three or four days, but I read many former test cricketers are not happy with this all and BCCI and other boards which are having results like these are also going to suffer badly because they already sell media rights for the five-day game but things looking not good which is surely needs to be settled before we have any other problem with this all in this third test match which is playing at Indore I am shocked with the Indian batting they completely fail to have any positive specially veteran Aussie Nathan Lyon have 11 wickets hauls which is surely picked of his bowling career because having bowling figures like this in India is dream for any spin bowler now we have just 76 runs which are looking easy task for the Aussies but how they play and what will be Indian strategy this is going to be important in tomorrow days play and most chances we will have result in first session of this day.

But compared to India's first innings, in the second innings Nathan Lyon brilliantly threw the Indian team into a great disaster by dropping 8 wickets and the Indian team gave a target of only 75 runs which is a very easy target.

Yes, it was a common mistake during Rohit Sharma's captaincy, as the spinner assisted pitch, Rohit Sharma could have bowled Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin in quick succession. Rohit Sharma will not make this mistake again in the second innings, he knows there is no better bowler than Jadeja and Ashwin on the spinner pitch.

Toss have played an important role in this match. Even if Indian batsmen have played same as the Australian players India could've reached good score. We don't know how the pitch will turn, and from the very first innings of the match it looks like the ground is bowling favourable. This time Australian bowlers have outperformed Indian bowlers performance. Lyon have took 8 wickets for 64 runs. Does anything big happens today.

One of those rare occasions when India lost a match on a turning track. Credit should be given to the captaincy of Steve Smith. His tactics worked perfectly and he made the bowling changes at the right occasion. Indian batsmen failed to get adjusted to the track, and on many occasions, they got out playing unnecessary strokes. Anyway, Australia will be having the momentum going to the 4th test match, which will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in  Ahmedabad. If they can win that one, then the series will be tied 2-2.
