To me ireland are in good position as Bangladesh trial by 180 runs and they have 8 wickets left. Ireland don't have much test experience, this will be a good test for them to build there expertise in test format.

Bangladesh is certainly not the best test team. But they certainly should have done better playing against Ireland. At least the way Bangladesh started their batting innings, was not at all satisfactory for anyone. Bangladesh should have done much better.

First of all, I do not understand how you can get out on the first ball. And even if I actually somehow accept that, because it is the start of the innings and someone can be rusty, I cannot accept the fact that Tamim Lost his wicket after the absolutely last ball of the day. Bangladesh doing pretty good with batting Shakib Al Hasan  and Mushfiqur Rahim are batting very sensibly and maintained a strong partnership that's putting them in much strong position.  With this pace they can give lead of 200 runs or more as they still have 7 wickets in hand.

@onecall123 it seems to me that Ireland allowed Bangladesh back into the game, and this shows their lack of experience otherwise they could have applied some more pressure and possibly bowled out Bangladesh much earlier. Also Rahim has scored a century, and it’s a well deserved one because he kept his calm despite Bangladesh being in a tough spot due to the fall of those early wickets.

It's fair to say that in alien conditions no one excepted Ireland to win against Bangladesh but at least the former need to show some sort of fight.

I agree they don't get to play more tests but when it gets some, it looks like another wasted opportunity. The way this match is progressing, their best chance for a morale boost would be to avoid an innings defeat.
