@pakhitheboss this is terrible news for all his fans and all Indian’s, because he was an incredible performer whenever he played for the Indian team and DD in the IPL. Furthermore I was in awe of his batting and I’m going to really miss him, and yes he’ll definitely be replaced permanently now and I doubt that he’ll ever play for team India again.

No doubt westindies don't have any quality bowler now in Thier squad like starc, bumrah, Shaheen etc who can put opponent in huge trouble and it's true that pitch is batting friendly also due to that reason South Africa score alot, Thier opening batter Dean Elgar score 71 before dismissed while Thier partner Aiden Markram almost score his century, now south Africa score 206 in 53th over which mean that if they continue to play like this difinitely they will hit above 400 because still have long batting lineup.

Wow. Woke up sometime earlier and was blown away to find out that England actually lost by a single freaking run. What the heck! New Zealand got the perfect revenge after that messed up ODI World Cup final.

They barely managed to draw the series instead of succumbing to a 2-0 washout. Punters betting in favor of England lost a lot of money.

Such a shame that i didn't watch a single ball of this match, I even stopped following updates regularly after Poms enforced the follow-on.

It is truly a fine advertisement for Test cricket but it won't happen every now n then, it makes this match very unique.

 I can confidently say that this is one of the greatest evet test match finishes that I managed to watch live.

This is the second Test match i am watching a team winning a match after forcing them to follow on. All credits to England for loosing this match to New Zealand  .

New Zealand won by just 1 run, as James Anderson got out to a spectacular delivery from Neil Wagner. Feels bad for the England lower order batsmen, who worked so hard to inch closer to the target - especially Ben Foakes, Stuart Broad and Jack Leach. James Anderson also tried his best, but today was not his day. Leach did a fantastic job, by surviving for 31 balls. But in the end, he ended up in the losing team.

The Bazball is showing its weakness and knew it would happen because that style is not sustainable in difficult conditions, a match England would have won easily if they played carefully but they choose to bat like a T20 match and ended up loosing, i wish they would do the same during the Ashes  .

All credits to Neil Wagner who tested the English batsman and they ended up getting into the trap set by New Zealand. Bit disappointed with the field placing of Tim Southee because when the situation demanded an attacking field position he was not doing that, either way a great game but bad for someone who placed a bet on England  .

It's seems that is going to make a good score and also gonna set a good target for West Indies team. South Africa opener two batsman dean elgar and aiden markram showed good performance with the bat. Dean elgar made 71 run and Aiden makes 115. If others had performed as well as the South African opening batsmen, South Africa's score would have easily gone to 400 plus.
Although nothing can be said yet, but in terms of strength, South Africa is much ahead of West Indies in the Test format. And because of that I think South Africa's chances of winning will be more than West Indies.

I just checked score this morning and for my surprise Newzealand has won the match. What a come back by Newzealand in there follow on innings. Must have been a 3 match series as now the series ended in a draw. There are not many matches in which a side having follow on fought back and won the match. England was unlucky to lose the match by just one run. You are lucky to watch such interesting match live.

Ahaha. Me as well. I didn't watch a single bowl.
When I see that New Zealand was on Follow On, I was wondering what happened there. I am not sure if it's ever happened in cricket history or not. England Scored 435 in the first innings, and it was a good total. Root and Harry Brook together scored 339 Runs. The other nine batters added only 96 runs to their scoreboard. So, I will say England Failed in their first innings as well. Root and harry Brook did good batting in the first innings doesn't mean that they will score well in 2nd innings as well.

It was a bad call from England's Captain to ask New Zealand for follow on. They thought the pitch is getting harder and they will get the benefits. This time five batters from New Zealand played well and set a good target for them. Who knows that England won't be able to score 258 after the good first innings? Is this karma?

It does look like his career is permanently over, but there is still a tiny possibility for him to play again if he is declared 100% fit later on.

There was a lot of dramatical changes in that match, especially in the last innings. England was under pressure after the fall of their 5th wicket. They made a great comeback in the 6th wicket partnership, but the game turned in favour of New Zealand again after the fall of Joe Root and Ben Stokes wicket. However, England would have won the match if Jack Leach didn't played in such defensive way in the last wicket. Most of the people had placed their bets on England.

The third test match in BGT will be played today in Indore. Steve Smith will be captaining the Australian side and I am expecting a good fight from the Australian side. Previously the other two matches were completely dominated by the Indian team as the Australian batters were seen struggling against the Indian spin attack.  

I was going through the recent batting performance of KL Rahul which is completely in shambles. After removing him as VC of the test squad there is a high chance of KL Rahul being replaced by Shubhman Gill in this test and the next one.

The above statement cracked me up! Indore pitch does support pacers more than spinners but I am pretty sure they will struggle against the bowling attack of Shami & Shiraz. The skipper is different and he can put some energy into the team but that does not mean it will be easy for them against India.

South Africa lost first wicket at 141, second on 221, and after that, wikcets keep on falling. I would say 314 is still good enough to get lead against West Indies though SA still have 2 wickets left. The match will end in a draw or we have a result is mostly dependent on how West Indies play in there first innings. West Indies have a good come back in bowling as they have got 8 wickets on day 1, same is required in batting.

Australia tour of India, 2023 will play 4 Tests in which India team is ahead in the results of two Tests. The third test match has started. Since the distance from one test match to another is very long, each team will get enough time to prepare their team. India and Australia have made two player changes each. However, the Australian team will try hard to retain this Test series. India team has collected 34 runs for the loss of 2 wickets at this point. Definitely it is a good start for the Australian team.

India won the toss and decided to bat. And they stumbled in the beginning. They lost the wicket of Shubman Gill to collect 27 runs. And they lost the wicket of Rohit Sharma for 34 runs. Gill scored 21 runs off just 18 balls. He should have understood it was a test match. He should have been patient and tried to stay at the crease. He returned to the dressing room with only 21 runs for his stupidity.
Kohli and Pujara are now batting. They should try to build a bigger partnership. As they have lost two wickets for very few runs, now India will not be able to collect big unless Pujara and Kohli form a big partnership.

After losing the first wicket for 27 runs, they lost 5 wickets in 45 runs. I am seeing very bad batting from Indian batsmen. But players like Kohli, Axar Patel and Ashwin are still there. If they are able to play well, India will collect more than 200 runs easily. If India can collect 200 runs it will be a good enough total. India will definitely not let Australia win easily.
