With three strikes, Taijul Islam has dismissed India's top order. Just two days in, and the ball is spinning like crazy. Neither India nor the hosts look likely to get a significant score in their first innings. It's all over for India if Kohli and Pant don't perform well here! Bangladeshi spinners have bowled a tight line so far. I cannot comprehend how India could drop their best spinner on such a wicket, let alone for a pacer.

This was an excellent session for the Bangbros, they hardly leaked any runs and the top 3 are back in the stands, although depressing KL Rahul is walking wicket nowadays but still props to Taijul Islam and Mehidy.

I would still back India to get some lead because of a deep batting line up and if by chance Pant bats for another 20 overs then he could change the game singlehandedly and more importantly very quickly. Koach looking determined today, don't want to jinx it but maybe a ton is coming.

The dilemma with Pakistan cricket team for decades is that they are unpredictable and inconsistent, there is no sincere effort done to overcome this issue of inconsistency. Time and again records are made against Pakistan but nothing happen. Despite losing three home series in a row there is hardly any disappointment on face of Babar.
Now Shahid Afridi is also given a role in PCB top management only because of his political affiliation with current party. I don't think Shahid Afridi is capable of handling any administrative posts after having awful stats.  

Here in test format, I am not giving them tag of unpredictable because their performance in last six test matches at home is near the worst which is surely not acceptable, and they are also having many other issues as well specially like player power and politicos influence which is surely killer for any sports which is happening right now in Pakistan case which is also having impact on their performance with chief selector is not following domestic cricket and bring young players on personal likes and dislikes which mean things could be worst in near future even I have feeling they will be winner in this coming series against New Zealand because Karachi and Multan both will be suitable for them and kiwis will clearly struggle here.

India's top batting order again failed in the first innings. KL Rahul has not scored much runs in any format of cricket for sometime now. Kohli again failed and this time Pujara too. Everything now depends on Panth and Iyer. I hope Panth delivers this time otherwise he might get dropped.

After taking 4 quick wickets and allowing India to only score 100+ runs Bangladesh are back in the game. The Bangladeshi bowlers are bowling brilliantly and I am sure they would be going after Panth.

This duo, after that Axar, Ashwin are there to bat. Unadkat and Yadav also know how to swing bat so they are typical tailenders.

And no! no one would drop Pant in test format. So far he's our best bat in the red ball cricket.

It only took Rishabh Pant 49 balls to reach his 11th Test fifty. When it comes to Test cricket, this guy is the definition of a beast. He always scores runs in a hurry. Congratulations on his brilliant half-century. Let's hope he converts it into a century. The Indian batting line-up is confident of making a big score at the moment.

And Iyer scored 29 off 34 balls. It is a spin-friendly pitch. I like the batting style of Pant and Iyer. If they can't score runs quickly, they won't be able to last long on such a pitch. India is still behind Bangladesh by 58 runs. It is expected that India will win this match if there is no batting disaster.

Rishab Panth is going strong today. He is batting at an average of 90+ which is agressive in test format. At this rate he will get his century today. Shreyas Iyer is playing with a cool head and not taking any risk. If these two batters can stay till the end of day 2 then we can expect a good score on the board and a good lead too.

In this match, we can see Taijul Islam of Bangladesh started a great performance. He scored 44 runs in 17 overs and took 3 wickets. Taijul Islam of Bangladesh took the wicket of India's strong batting. Bangladesh's all rounder Shakib Al Hasan batted and  Bowling did not do well in any match. India batting well in many ties. India need only 25 runs to win.

Only Mominul got runs in this match but this was not sufficient and he is not regular performer at this time. Players like Shakib, Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das should take responsibilities to improve overall situation of Bangladeshi test format. Let's see what happened after tea break.

So now India is on lead of 2 runs and India managed to build a strong partnership between Rishab Panth and Shreyas Iyer  after loosing 4 wickets on less than 100 runs.
India is definitely winning this one but Bangladesh has to work on their batting skills on order to win the next one.

Pant hardly cares if you have champion spin bowlers in your team, he will dance on his feet and step out only to hit you for a one-handed six. You can't do anything about it doesn't matter if you field 5 fielders on the boundary. He'll live by the sword and die by the sword.

In 2nd session, Bangbros lost the advantage and if Pant bats for another session then we are looking for a big lead, it would be very handy for India as they are batting last on a rank turner.

In fact, even if India fulfills the target with Bangladesh, what it will run from now on is additional income for India.  That's why I can say that Bangladeshi batsmen and bowlers need experience because Mominul alone is not enough for the team.  Although Mominul got out after scoring 84 runs, many of the other players could not score runs.  They were all out in one day which the Indian players made up for by four wickets.  That is why the players of Bangladesh should have gained experience and come down to the month.

He should have played with a little but of patience. There was no need for him to take any risk.

Iyer is still playing and all hopes are now on him. He needs to stick on the pitch and stay as long as possible. Meanwhile Ashwin needs to rotate the strike and go after those odd balls. The lead is only of 27 runs which needs to be of 200+ runs.

What a wonderful performance by Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant. In the 2nd Test, both of them are batting with confidence to score centuries. Even though Rishabh Pant batted in the Test match, his run rate made it look like an ODI match. Rishabh Pant ‍able to score of 91 runs from 94 balls. On the other hand, excellent performance is expected from Shreyas Iyer. He scored 71 from 88 balls. In every match someone is woke up. That is really a good aspect for the Indian team.

Yeah, Rishabh Pant got out which means now India now may get all out in another 120 to 150 runs. So, hardly they may put 400+ runs on board which may give them around 200 runs lead. We can expect some good resistance from Bangladesh in their second innings hence I foresee the chances of draw outcome from this match. I know it will be purely subjective to how India bowlers perform in the second innings.

Now, it's time for Shreyas Iyer to hit a ton.  I guess he may hold his nerves unlike Rishabh Pant to entertain us. Let's wait and watch how this second day will end up.
