Third day's play finished and New Zealand ends up with a lead of 2 runs with 4 wickets in hand. Kane Williamson still out there, with 105 not out. I still believe that this match will end up as another draw. Even if the Kiwis make another 200 or so runs tomorrow, they will not be able to bowl out the Pakistanis in this flat track. Also, they don't have any good spinners with them. This is a 2-match series and there is a good chance that the outcome will be 0-0, given the second test match also will be played at the same venue (National Stadium, Karachi).

Even after end of third day play I have feeling this match is surely going for the bore draw but here if Pakistan take early wickets and then started batting like England and have 300+ then we can expect some drama on last day it's all my personal feeling with most chances they are not brave enough to do things like these because they are already preparing flat pitches and losing matches, so they will never take any chance like this but if they use this mindset then surely we can expect something positive otherwise it's all going to be ended without any entertainment for the cricketing fans with Pakistan is going down in this series at home against SENA countries which is surely big below for them with fans are not near to watch series like these.

As expected, South Africa are in dire straits, as Australia looks set to make a total of 500 plus. At this point, they are at 489/7, with Alex Carey and Cameron Green at crease. The South African bowlers were highly ineffective, perhaps with the exception of Anrich Nortje. After Pakistan scored 438 runs, I thought it was enough. Because their bowling line-up is very strong. We also saw a great performance by Pakistani bowlers against England. But they are not very effective against New Zealand. At the end of the third day, New Zealand collected 440 runs after losing 6 wickets. Unless Pakistan suffer a batting disaster in their second innings, this match will undoubtedly be a draw. I think New Zealand will be able to bat at least 20 overs tomorrow, and take a lead of 70-90 runs.

Don't expect to see the collapse of batting lineup of New Zealand in a batting friendly pitch. Pakistan had made a batting friendly pitch in the first test match against England, still they lost the game on the final day. They have made a batting friendly pitch again now against New Zealand. Pakistan may loss the match if New Zealand can take a good lead in the first innings. Because, Pakistan players had shown poor performance during the second innings of the previous test matches.

Pakistan's batting looked like Pakistan would be able to put up a big score they set a target of 438 runs. As it was assumed that they are strong in bowling, this run will be enough for them. On flat pitches we have no specific target as right now things are going into this test match look like Pakistani cricket is not happy with this test format, and they are punishing their own bowlers which are already suffering from injuries as Pakistan start their inning there were hope things could be interesting but after having big partnership between Sarfraz and Babar all things clear as we have another flat pitch which is having nothing for bowlers and same happening today we have four centuries with two for Kiwis in batting and two for Pakistani bowlers which is surely not positive thing for these bowlers at the end of the third day 440/6 with now Kiwis are having 2 runs lead a dead match, but Williamson's romance with Pakistan is going on today he has fifth century against them which is good Latham was also good but sadly Conway out on nerve's nineteen good batting from top order and good support from middle order as well.

New Zealand already managed to score 440 runs for six wickets with a 2 run lead in today's match.  But it looks like the game is going to be a draw. But I think the result of this match is still pending and it will be confirmed in the second innings which team will win this match. But I will say one more thing that Pakistan should prepare their top order batsmen better in their batting line-up, because if you look at New Zealand's line-up, they are absolutely fine.  So I want to say that to win the upcoming matches, they need to bring a little change on their line up.

But I have to agree, and I also think that this match is going toward a draw.

New Zealand is not going to declare because they do not have a good deal of lead at this point. So they are going to take a lead of at least 100 runs. And then they declare, if they do, Pakistan is probably going to play out till the second session of the 5th day. That is going to mean that there will not be enough time for a result in this test match. Unless of course, New Zealand starts taking some serious challenges and dares to declare early.

Nathan Lyon bowled well, but it was the pacers who took the most important wickets, especially Pat Cummins and Scott Boland. And when Keshav Maharaj
was looking good with the bat, Bavuma needlessly ran him out. Now Australia are on top of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship, followed by India. Australia won 10 out of the 14 test matches so far in this cycle and they are far ahead of India in terms of win percentage (79% vs 59%). Also, the loss today means that South Africa is almost out of contention for the final.

The game was really great because the margin of 182 runs was huge. w.warner alone scored 200 runs for Australia. Which was a plus point for Australia and other Australian players played well like A.carey alone scored 111 runs and S.smith scored 85 runs.

Spinners have taken almost all the wickets to fall till now, with Nauman Ali having figures of 62-4-185-3 and Abrar Ahmed having 66-7-200-5. The inexperienced Pakistani bowlers really struggled without much assistance from the pitch. Today is 4th day and some 123 overs remain in total for this match. Unless the Kiwi bowlers can come up with a miracle, the match will end up in a draw.
