Thailand was on top of Group B with 6 points, but the ICC decided to provide qualification to Bangladesh and Pakistan instead, since Thailand is not a test playing nation and therefore not included in the rankings. If that is the case, then I don't understand the purpose of the whole qualifying tournament. Why can't they just abandon the tournament and promote teams just based on the ranking?

I don't think that in any other sport there is this crazy qualification system. The ICC is corrupt and that is why we are witnessing this sham.

This is absolutely dumb and is no reason for ICC to do that. The purpose of having a qualifying tournament is to see who got the potential to qualify and be there with other teams. And you are absolutely right that if this is the case then just play the teams in the world cup based on rankings. And if this goes on there will be a lot fewer countries playing cricket in the future just like now.

Cricket is mostly played and admired in Asian country, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India have die hearts fans and that is one of the reason of cricket being alive. Super powers have no interest in cricket. USA, Russia, China does not have even the cricket teams. There are other factors of interest for the ICC as well. So I think it would not be just to see one perspective. I am fan of cricket and we have never heard of cricket team of Thailand. So let's chill and watch the play.

That was when the ICC changed the eligibility criteria and destroyed cricket in smaller nations.

Bangladesh women's team lost by 32 runs against South Africa women's team. South Africa gave a target of only 208 runs. It was not a big target. Bangladesh started their innings quite well. Openers Shamima Sultana and Sharmin Akhtar scored 27 and 34 runs respectively. But no batsman of the team could play big innings. So Bangladesh lost all their wickets in just 175 runs.

I agree, cricket is alive due to these regions. When most of the world is in Football. These countries do not have proper footballs teams. So we can not judge based on areas. But maybe its the interest of the people which keeps some games alive while not playing some very important games on the other hand. But that is right I have seen so much cricket in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh than in any other part of the world.

The fans are demanding women's IPL for quite a long time. But the BCCI has always ignore this request, saying that there are not enough players available to establish such a league.

We can't say there is  no interest in women cricket in South Asia there are many. People will take more interest if broadcasters air such matches live but they are not doing this. Seeing women cricketers carrying there kids along while participating in WC is really heartwarming scene.

Well, I think that ICC knows very well that if big powers like Germany come into cricket then they will have quite a few problems and I think they just did not want to deal with it. Then they will not be able to do the stupid stuff that they are doing at the moment and they will be held accountable for the stuff that they do. That is also a big reason why they don't want to expand cricket worldwide.

Cricket is already very less popular worldwide and if this goes on I think this game will inevitably die.

Bangladesh women's team lost by 32 runs against South Africa women's team. South Africa gave a target of only 208 runs. It was not a big target. Bangladesh started their innings quite well. The problem with the women's team of Bangladesh is they are not consistent and they have a lot of flaws in their game. And in this particular match, they lost the wickets at regular intervals. They could not form any partnership whatsoever. It actually shouldn't have been hard to win against a score like 208. But the lack of partnership from Bangladesh made it possible.

And compared to men's cricket, the popularity of women's cricket is always going to be low. It's understandable why this is happening but people will always look for the best things to see. And I think that's the reason why they are afraid to make such a link because they think they are not going to get the expected revenue.

It's not only the case with Germany rather same is happening in UAE, Oman and Canada. Recently Nepal wasn't able to qualify for T20 WC as they lost to strong team of expat from UAE. Nepal is a team full of local people but wasn't able to qualify for any ICC event till date while team of expats from UAE Canada and Oman have played many times icc events.

And compared to men's cricket, the popularity of women's cricket is always going to be low. Because those who understand cricket will agree with me that there are fewer skills involved in women's cricket compared to men's cricket.

South Asian Countries are the most male dominant, but still there are some good things happening around them but sadly BCCI is just going for money, and they are not encouraging this for women because they are feeling it's not profitable for them which is really poor mind set from them resources and things are surely favoring them, and they can do some revolutionary things for this all, but recently they rejected any project related to women. But good thing happening in neighboring country Pakistan where recently we have good announcement that PCB is working on WPSL most chances they will launch this in 2023, and it's really great news for women even there are many issues, but they are doing things for right direction.

Hopefully, with this we will have some better and competitive things for women's in this region.

I never watch women's match but in this world cup I have few very interesting matches with amazing fighting skills from all teams in first match West Indies Women done amazing job and beat home New Zealand Women team in very interesting match in last over by just 3 runs and then today we have two more matches Australia vs England and South Africa vs Bangladesh both were also very entertaining as Australia give 310 runs target and England were very close but at the end they lost by 12 runs both teams were in very good shape and provide very good cricket third match was relatively one-sided even South Africa give 207 runs target, but Bangladesh fail to give any good response after having very good bowling their batting was completely down.

I think this is a cooked up story, Adolf Hitler has to move to England or  Australia to watch a match during his period and for that he needs to leave his country and move to a hostile country which i doubt he will be doing just to watch cricket. Does not make sense, if cricket was played in Germany then he would have spent time watching them, there are many fake narratives being spread, always think logically.

The 100 runs 7th wicket partnership between Sneh Rana and Pooja is the main reason why India has given such a competitive target. After losing 6 wickets in 33 overs for 114 runs, Sneh and Pooja took the responsibility.
Pakistan really have to bat well to get this target.

At the moment, pakistani ladies team isn't batting well and has scored only 58 runs but lost 3 wickets. As expected, there is no structure for the women cricket team in pakistan and hence we cannot expect them to win against teams like India who were runners up in the last women world cup. No much how much hype the media creates about this match between India and Pakistan, it will turn out to be a boring one sided game.
