Indian women lost there forth consecutive ODI to NZ-W. NZ-W gave a small target of 191 and seeing the performance of Indian team it was expected that they will chase the target easily. Richa Ghosh and Mithali are top scorer who contributed 80 of total 128 runs made by Indian. It 4-0 now, Indian team should work hard to avoid whitewash.

Afghanistan tour of Bangladesh starts 23rd. Three ODIs will be played between these two teams. Bangladesh is hot favourite as they have won the last two bilateral series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. Afghanistan on the other hand has performed very well in recent times. The first ever international cricket match in recorded history was played between Canada and the United States in 1844. There were countries such as Argentina, Denmark and France which used to have a large number of cricket clubs. All that is history now, because the ICC was never interested in any region outside the traditional commonwealth (South Asia, England, Australia-NZ.etc). Outside the 5-6 test nations, cricket continues to decline and that is true even for some of the test nations such as Ireland, South Africa, West Indies and most of the Associate nations. 

No doubt cricket is having very long history but sadly due to his nature and system it has never been adoptable for many countries even we have some very unauthentic stories about this but with the recent changes happening these can give some big change and better result in adoption because with this many countries and sports authorities feeling now they can take good profit with in short period like they have in soccer and rugby.

But, sadly we have no mainstream for this all which is the biggest concern like you are saying we are losing passion in many test playing nations, so I am feeling after one decade we will watch just 20/20 and 10league and similar other short formats because test could be disappeared from scene and this is good for players management and all related parties.

With new Head Coach Stuart Law and having good experience against West Indies and Sri Lanka, surely they will be in upper hand, but Afghanistan is also not an easy side to be beaten.

Now they only need 18 runs from 27 balls. These two batsmen seem to be proving themselves when the greats failed.

Well, I got news for you. Bangladesh lost 6 wickets only for 45 runs. And then something really unbelievable happened, 2  youngsters, Afif Hossain and Mehidy Hasan made a big partnership and they are still in the crease and now the score is 198-6.

Two youngsters, Afif Hossain and Mehidy Hasan lead Bangladesh achieve the target and helps win over Afghanistan. Well, Afghanistan is certainly not an easy opponent and they have already shown it by taking 6 wickets for only 45 runs. But Bangladesh has also made a really good comeback since then. I think this is going to be an interesting time for Bangladesh cricket as they are desperate to prove themselves in my opinion, just because they have faced a lot of criticism in recent times. What Bangladesh has shown in the first match against Afghanistan till now I think they need to improve their batting.

Bangladesh's top order has always been weak. Especially the opening two batsmen can never form a big partnership. Bangladesh team is always weak in this regard. But today other batsmen also surprised me. Of course I expected responsible batting from Shakib and Mushfiqur. Shakib or Mushfiqur needed to bat responsibly when Bangladesh lost their wickets quickly. But in the next match we will expect good performance from Shakib, Mushfiqur and Tamim. What an end to the first match amazing performance from Bangladesh lower-order batsmen, and they win this match surely one of their greatest wins in ODI with target 215 was looking very easy but as Afghanistan has done a great job and has 45/6 most people were feeling it's going to be a one-sided game but at the end of day Afif Hossain and Mehidy Hasan both play a great knock for their country and win this match against all odds.

I did not expect this turnaround when they lost the 6th wicket as i was expecting Afghanistan to win the match when Bangladesh lost their 6th wicket but then Afghanistan lost the plot completely as Afif Hossain and Mehidy Hasan Miraz played their innings of their life time to take Bangladesh home and it is a great comeback victory for them and will cherish for a long time.

I have a different take on this while Afghanistan did lose the game, they ended up gaining valuable experience that the game isn’t over till the last wicket falls or all the overs are finished and this shall help them grow. Furthermore both sides gave their best, but it was clear that Bangladesh player’s showed better determination to win this game and in the end won it, so Afghanistan should pick on the positives and work on further improving their game.
