This is the first win for India women's national cricket team, in this series. I think they need to get their games up. Or else in the upcoming events, they are not going to do very well.

Because these games are going to make Newzealand-W very confident going forward. But India-W should realize their mistakes and work on them. It's going to be really interesting to see what the Indian women can produce after this.

That's a good win for india, they will now participate in WC with some positive mindset that they can beat big teams like England, Aus and NZ. It was an easy win today for india as all of there batsmen except Shafali Verma contributed there part.
There is hardly any interest in Ind W vs Pak W World Cup match. Only India M vs Pak M is given importance. Doss anyone here know how many Women teams are participating in this WC?

I think Afghanistan could do something that Bangladesh didn't even realize. That is about the pitch, the pitch really seems to favor the new ball bowlers, because at the start of each innings we saw noticeable movement from the new fast bowlers, but as the match went on the pitch kind of died and the track was most suitable for batting by then.

I think only Shakib got out really unlucky but the others were because of really good bowling. Shakib Al Hasan chopped the ball onto his own stumps. Other than that all the other five wickets that were taken by Afghanistan had pure skills in them.

And let's be honest all of us thought that Bangladesh was not going to win that match in any way. Even captain Tamim Iqbal said the same thing in the post-match presentation. But the youngsters proved us wrong and showed their extraordinary talent.

174 runs partnership for 7 wickets is never been easy for any team especially when you have very young players on the crease, but today they have done this and Afghanistan is surely feeling worst ever after losing this first match from this point because this is a big defeat with having such a good performance in the start.

I did not expect this turnaround when they lost the 6th wicket as i was expecting Afghanistan to win the match when Bangladesh lost their 6th wicket but then Afghanistan lost the plot completely as Afif Hossain and Mehidy Hasan Miraz played their innings of their life time to take Bangladesh home and it is a great comeback victory for them and will cherish for a long time.

I have a different take on this while Afghanistan did lose the game, they ended up gaining valuable experience that the game isn’t over till the last wicket falls or all the overs are finished and this shall help them grow. Furthermore both sides gave their best, but it was clear that Bangladesh player’s showed better determination to win this game and in the end won it, so Afghanistan should pick on the positives and work on further improving their game.

Batting for 307 runs, Afghanistan lost the wicket of their important batsman Riaz Hassan by just 9 runs. He has been run-out. It was not desirable. Since the target is much higher, the openers must have performed well to win the match. However, it seems that Afghanistan can win by batting for such a huge run. If the target was between 250-260, then maybe Afghanistan could have fought better. The match would have been competitive. Now we will watch a one-sided match. Maybe Bangladesh will dominate today.

What I meant was that I didn't think Bangladesh even thought that Afghanistan could get 6 wickets only for 45 runs and that also in only in almost about 11  overs. And I really think that no one expected Bangladesh to start the innings that badly, the top order absolutely collapsed. But the youngsters took the matters into their own hands and took Bangladesh out of the hole that they dug themselves into.

Even captain Tamim Iqbal said the same thing in the post-match presentation. But the youngsters proved us wrong and showed their extraordinary talent.

An easy win for Bangladesh today. Today they did'nt repeated mistakes of first ODI which is a good sign that they are learning from there mistakes. Much needed runs for Litlon Das as his last ten ODI innings are not very impressive. 300+ is not an easy target to chase specially for team like Afghanistan. Rehmat and Zadran did some resistance other then that no one took the responsibility.

At least in name, Afghanistan is a test playing nation and can't be compared with the smaller associate nations. They receive around $5 million every year from the ICC, which is tens of times higher when compared to what the associate nations such as Nepal receive. But that amount is only one-third of what Bangladesh receive every year from the ICC (~$15 million per year). Anyway, when it comes to test cricket both these nations have performed poorly. And Bangladesh has remained in this position despite being a test nation for more than two decades.
