~ Sometimes the dignity is more important than the money or the game. The way NewZealand team left the country was an insult in itself and no respectful country can allow this. PCB can solve the finical problems in many others way but will not play them in the Neutral venue. Lets see how long PCB will continue with their demands, New Zealand team left the country was an insult for them, what happened to the players that were shot and i never heard about any compensation by the PCB or the ICC because i was not following cricket during that period. If money was not a problem for PCB then what is the problem in playing in neutral grounds if other countries are not trusting the security. And yeah let the big three cowards enjoy by playing among themselves and avoid the competition.
Pakistan is not even competitive in Test and ODI, in T20 they can be competitive. I would like to see a series between Bangladesh and Pakistan and that would be a competitive match, but if they play against Australia, New Zealand and England there is no competition . You're this statement is completely biased that Pakistan is not a competitive side because Pakistan play very aggressive cricket and have the best players in all formats just sometime bad patch never give as a bad team against Australia, New Zealand and England if you have any doubt then check history how they beat them at their own home and how they rule in all cricket world for some long time. Right now have some bad time, so peoples like you those have nothing knowledge about game are talking like this just shame on you and your poor thinking. Pakistan is one of most unpredictable team but still able to beat any team in cricket world. Now they have one stick stance about playing at neutral place which is good even currently they will face some problems but this all will end soon.

Australia is a shadow of their former self. I agree that India, New Zealand and England are at the top now. The gap between them and the smaller boards like PCB and WICB are increasing because of the stark difference in revenues and the lack of availability of players due to their role in franchise T20 leagues. But for Australia, the plus point is that they probably have the strongest domestic cricket system in the world. On the other hand, for teams like Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, the domestic system is very poor.

The T20 world cup is very near and these teams will have to play with us and can't avoid the competition Pakistan team may look weak on the paper but they always give tough time to the opponent. The big 3 nations should wake up from the sleep and stop playing among themselves. Closing the eyes and avoiding the competition would not make them champions.

Now they have a billion of USD in funds and can spend freely, so they are bringing them into big 3. Australia, England and New Zealand have the best domestic systems, and they are producing good players but New Zealand recently done very good in cricket few years back they were also average team even with good domestic system. Real matter of shame is as IPL introduced, and they give some good bribes and funds too few boards now they are using their power in wrong way and crickets beauty is going to end just money is now all for few peoples they can do anything for this,

You are forgetting the fact that the IPL is beneficial for some of the other boards as well. There is a "foreigner release fee" that is being paid to the other cricket boards for allowing their players to appear in the IPL. This amounts to 20% of the contract amount. And for some of the boards with good representation in the IPL, such as ECB, CA, CSA and WICB, the IPL is a goose that lays golden eggs. But the same can't be said about boards like SLCB, PCB and BCB, which have little or no representation in the IPL.

Again you have excluded PCB , SLCB ,BCB and happy to play and distribute benefits within the Big 3. IPL may look attractive from top but infact it is the one major reason for the downfall of cricket by the abuse of power.

IPL may look attractive from top but infact it is the one major reason for the downfall of cricket by the abuse of power. The IPL has brought in huge amounts of money. But the problem is that this amount is not being distributed evenly. A part of the revenue should go to the ICC, but that is not happening now. ICC has blocked two months of international calendar every year to accommodate the IPL. ECB, NZC and some of the other boards are happy because they are getting the breadcrumbs that are thrown to them by the BCCI. The other boards are not even getting that. The revenue distribution system with cricket is not fair. It has seen richer boards getting more and more money, while the poorer ones getting less with each passing year.

Your all point is valid because here political influence working too much the boards having funds from BCCI are happy and don't want to talk about this all but other boards feeling bad in this all situation if ICC have some dignity then sit with all members and talk them about this all after this give funds to all equally because this will bring some more quality and better infrastructure in game of cricket like we have in soccer. They are not favoring any country or region working for all countries equally but here just personal likes and dislikes are hurting all setup very badly which can bring more gape and hate between boards in near future.

Cricket is old funny game. You cant rule out any team that its not competitive. Teams go up and down in performance. England team is one of the strongest these days in all formats, decade ago it was very weak. Did other strong teams of that time didn't played against them? There must not be monopoly of any board whether its rich or weak.

Well.. this is the way things are in cricket. You can't really compare it to global sports like football or field hockey. In football, even if the top ranking teams like Brazil or Spain makes a mistake, the FIFA will punish them without a second thought. And the revenue distribution is very even. That is not the case with cricket. The big three still treats cricket like their private entity and doesn't care much about the smaller boards. But a part of the blame should fall on the smaller boards as well. Big three + NZ has just 4 votes, while the others have at least twice that much. At least some of the smaller boards sided with the big 3 previously and that enabled the latter to end up with a revenue distribution model that is clearly biased towards them.

I believe the answer is neutral because there haven’t been consistent series for them, and they also don’t get to play at home which is a major disadvantage for them. However going ahead it would be nice to see them play with India, Australia, England and New Zealand more, as fans too would benefit from these series.

A bilateral series between India and Pakistan is not going to happen for the next one decade. And as long as Pakistan plays at neutral venues like Sharjah, neither the board, nor the players will benefit from "home matches". The other team will be having home advantage for their matches, but Pakistan will not have it for theirs. No short term solution for this, unless the ICC actually ask India and the other teams to tour Pakistan. And given the current circumstances, I don't think that they will do that.

Sorry to take away from the discussions above but just here for hopefully not my final IPL game where my outright MI still have a mathematical possibility to somehow qualify! They have to bat first and then go for 171 runs margin. Impossible right? But worth watching!
My bet: anyone to score >100 at 9.13.
RCB of course I think has the best "underlier" to get their first title.

I understand that its impossible to see a series between India and Pakistan ever again. The geographical structure is changing very quickly and you never know what will happen after 10 years. But other countries like New Zealand and England, who had their tour planned, should come and play.

Once again, it is up to the ICC. If the ICC impose strict penalties on teams that refuse to tour, then there is a good chance that the cricket boards of SENA nations would request their own governments to provide permission to tour Pakistan. But as things stand now, these boards don't face any losses if they refuse to tour (the losses will be borne by the PCB). It is not fair, if you ask me. But cricket is different from the other sports and things are like this. Hopefully Pakistan will be able to convince these boards to change their decision.

I don't think ICC can do any strict penalties like this because it's not a sports organization, it's just political wing of few big countries in common wealth, and they are using this just for own sack. Here three countries are very big, and they have one puppet CNZ, so no other board can challenge them right now until they fight for their own sack. In near future cricket is going to be more dead and just leagues game instead of nations games which was few years back just because of really biased policies from very few countries those kill its beauty. In next few years we will watch few big leagues and never have great moments of fight and passion for cricket.

Right now, Bangladesh is also having some good results from local league and Sri Lankan League is also in early stages, so I feel this all will be good for these small countries.

I am seeing these comments where ICC is benefiting greatly when they allow franchise cricket, but from what i understand BCCI will pay the local board and the foreign players cricket board. From where you heard that ICC will be earning a payment from IPL. Right now, Bangladesh is also having some good results from local league and Sri Lankan League is also in early stages, so I feel this all will be good for these small countries. It depends upon how well they will advertise their tournament and how well they can attract the advertisers to invest in them, IPL successfully did that and so is the reason they were able to earn huge amount.
