The game between Magnolia and Northport is already over, there's still 5 minutes left but a 20 points lead by Magnolia is already big enough, Northport cannot make a big run already to win. I'm disappointed with this team, they have a good start IIRC but now they lose consecutive games already with huge margins.

previous game was against TNT, 117-93 loss.

The teamwork of Magnolia is something that gives them the advantage by looking with their stats today you can define how good they move the ball, With the import that really contributing so well Magnolia is again one of the top contender just hoping that they will not choke again and lose games in the next round, too early to tell if they will be able to move forward and possible to have another title match series.

SMB's import already made 11 points, that's very low compared to the import of Bay Area Dragons who dropped 39 big points in this game. We can really tell how important Fajardo is inside because he was present and healthy, he could certainly help his team to give a very competitive match.

  It's sad, although I'm an SMB supporter, it seems that Fajardo contributed more to the SMB team than their import. Isn't that like a slap to the

import of SMB, who seems like he was of no use to his team? But that's the way it is, there are times when the game is salty and it's bad luck,

and when you admit that your game stands like that, it's better to sit and just watch your teammates.

The locals are doing great. The ball is well-distributed, and they execute their plays really well. Combine that with a great defense and offense coming from their import, and they are really off to a good start. They are still unbeaten and continuing their hot start. I wonder which team will give them their first loss in this conference. Their next game will be against Ginebra but with the way Ginebra is going right now, I doubt they will beat Magnolia. Maybe down the line when they face San Miguel or the bay area dragons.

Yes, better luck next time, and we know that SMB is a good team and they will bounce back for sure, so watch out for their next game and don't miss betting on them. On the mean time, let's enjoy the 2nd game, so far Magnolia is controlling the game with a big lead, I'm afraid we will again see another one sided game tonight, that would make it a boring night overall.

We can trust them on that, they'll be playing against the NLEX next game, I think it's just a light opponent for them, so even without JMF, I believe they'll be able to manage to win. JMF might be missing few games before he will come back, his teammates has to play harder in order to still be in the playoff race.

The visiting team accepted the challenge after that loss from Ginebra, Nicholson gave them a reason to keep him since after that loss we discuss here if they needed to bring Powell back and the guy simply prove that he's also a caliber former NBA player who are capable in taking the challenges.

"there's no what if", if Fajardo is playing as a fan I know how big the difference if Junemar is in the rotation as we all know that he's the main Alpha of this team, with him there's a good inside post-up that SMB can go either he go hard or just create enough space and make a jump shot.

JunmarFajardo has a big role in his team also he is the number 1 carrier for SMB so without a doubt he will be the one can defend in his team from other team's and for their fight against Bay area dragon as we can saw that SMB struggle a lot which no veteran big man inside while Bay Area Dragons has 7 foot 5 which they can't stop because fajardo is not in the court. That's their strength, they trust each other that's why they formed a good bond or chemistry. Their import is also very efficient, maybe not as good as Brownlee, but he was able to blend well with the locals, that's why they are very successful now.

Some people are saying that Magnolia are only good at the start, hopefully Magnolia will not fail us this time.

They already made the right adjustment, what do you think would happen if they'll ever face Ginebra again? would you still bet on Ginebra to win? SMB is missing Fajardo, so they can make an excuse for their big loss. I know the Dragons are for real, but so far they only beat a good team that is undermanned.

If i were to answer this question then it depends on what will be the spread/handicap because Ginebra has beaten them then i think the bookies will not put a wide margin for the Dragons I supposed then it would be good to bet for the Dragons because like you said they already adjusted and for sure Justin Brownlee is a marked guy for the Dragons.

Will they meet again? Sorry for asking but I don't know if the guest team is qualified to be the champion at this conference.

According to a team insider, Devon Scott has been tapped by the Beermen to replace Diamond Stone heading to a crucial stretch in their mid-season campaign.

My opinion here is, I think it's the right decision as Diamond Stone was inefficient on their game against the Dragon, they need an import who could carry the team, not the import that would be carried by the locals.

Watching his previous games, I agree that Stone didn’t perform well as an import which he should be on that spot since it’s the best time for imports to contribute. I think they are eligible to win the championship this conference and if that happened, that's the first time we will see a non-Filipino champion in a Filipino basketball league lol. With SMB losing recently against the Dragons, their chance of meeting up again will be after eliminations, maybe in quarterfinals, semis, and Finals.

I read an article before that Kume Marcial said that Bay Area Dragons were eligible for the championship in Governors Cup. PBA right now is currently running the Commissioners Cup so I will assume the same eligibility applied.

In one article that has been posted by Rappler (even though I hate them for how bias they are), Kume Marcial already said that:

Marcial said Bay Area will be eligible to win the Governors’ Cup championship.

The one thing that the Dragons are ineligible are the individual awards, I guess.

I don't want to judge just because of one game but it only shows that not having Fajardo playing have a huge impact towards the performance of the whole team. Now with Stone being replaced by a new import, Scott, I don't know how will the Beermen play on their next game because aside from JMF not playing, the chemistry might be affected because of this new import but nevertheless, it's a good move by them because Stone didn't play well on their last game though he played well in the last 2.

Adjustments will be made by the Beermen that's for sure. Coach Leo is a very good coach, and he also has very good players. Now that Fajardo expects to come back in the playoffs, this might affect their standings in the elimination. I just hope that even though JMF will not play, they will end up in the top 4 spot.

Expect everything will be in place when the next round approach, a single round elimination, right? The current losing streak of TerraFirma is 25 and the longest is 29 by Blackwater bossing.

The next 3 games of TerraFirma are against Bay Area, Ginebra and TNT. I'm pretty sure that they will not win against Bay Area (and many will agree with me). TNT? I don't think so as well, but they might against Ginebra who lost twice against ROS and Phoenix which are both independent teams but if they lose, the streak will continue, and it will be 28 after that.

After that, it will be NorthPort, NLEX, SMB and their final game is against Phoenix. TBH, it's hard to imagine which team where TerraFirma has a chance to win after how they are playing this conference. Yes, Prosper is a legit import but the problem is the local players. There is lack of support coming from them even though Prosper is getting at least 20-20 per game. I agree with you that it's good to see a foreigner like him trying to learn Tagalog words and supporting other players like Kai Sotto. I might watch his video if he will try to eat some exotic PH foods like "balut" for example .
