I bet he is making a new (better) VPS few hours before the validation, and then after the validation he moves back his Idena nodes to the lower VPS and deletes the VPS used for validation.

You just lost your bet.

Ouch, my bad. I never used DigitalOcean VPS service. Only Vultr in the past.

Good to know, tho.

To Buy, or not to Sell? That is the question.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Interesting, I see more than 4K nodes in the network, any guess EOY?

I checked on Coinmarketcap that the total supply of IDNA is 59,415,712 IDNA and Circulating Supply is 32,214,655 IDNA, how many IDNA have been mined at this time? how long will all IDNA be mined? is there a block reduction system like bitcoin from 50 to 25 to 12.5?
I was surprised to transfer IDNA from the wallet to Hotbit so quickly entered the deposit

One thing is certain that I know, when each validation ceremony the number of participants increases and they successfully change status to newbie, the daily mining will be even less. Now we can only get 6 iDNA per day, maybe next month we will only get around 4 to 5 iDNA per day.

Yes ,the more active miners in the network ,the lower the reward ,because the number of coins is the same per day and depends only on the number of nodes that mine ,now there are 4012 of them Wink

Idena has released a test web client, If you want, you can test it until validation is out of the possibilities. Warning - you need to show the private key!!! Link from discord.

what kind of service provider is this? Hetzner only allows you to increase the power, but not to reduce it...
Hmm. I don't know what's wrong, but i use Hetzner, and last three validations it allows me to increase my VPS on 2 cores / 4gb ram, and then i can easily reduce it to 1 core / 2gb once again. Huh

Looking at the tokenomics, I think the sweet spot for Idena rewards is 5 coins a day, (at the current price) less than this, will make people go away since is not profitable anymore ( a return under $10 a month is not worth the pain, imo).

To Buy, or not to Sell? That is the question.

That is if you are looking short term but if you look at the long term potential what you will be mining now could worth $1 each or even more
I remember MRAI or Nano now I used to mine 400 MRAI daily now it's now worth $0.933581 each imagine 400 MRAI daily for a month unfortunately I sold all of it at 500 sats each not even 1 cents back then.

Yes, now it is not as profitable as it was at $0.30 with 2500 nodes, and it will be difficult to become a millionaire now. But I am sure that this problem will be solved very soon. First of all, it will be a price increase.

It's not quite right to calculate a reward based solely on mining, as your total reward depends largely on your rank, the number of invitation codes issued, and the quality of the validation process for the people you have invited to Idena's ecosystem.  Mining gives you fewer rewards than creating good flips. But the highest rewards can be obtained by giving out the invites.

I think people from the community need to invite many journalists here and Tag some of their official twitter accounts to write a lot about IDENA https://twitter.com/IdenaNetwork/status/1319164028124598273

I understand what you are saying, that's why I am still here. But hoping that the price will go to the moon is not what people are expecting when "mining" to make a profit for their time/money investment.

To Buy, or not to Sell? That is the question.

I hate to see that I never got a good score in validation because of too many irrelevant filps, I hope that the team may study how to prevent the bad flips, because even you are smart enough, you can never understand most of the flips in validation time.

I hope that team will 100% focus on sharding/oracle/smart contrants. IDENA (validation) is not about making people fill good about how high their score is (how intelligent are they). It is about separeting bots from real person. Real person is someone with more than 60% in short, 75% from 10 shorts and 75% in long session. If you have more than it means that your score is correct (real person is verified, bot is separated) and validation session works correctly.

BTW:

And this includes all errors (f.e. flip didn't load), my obvious mistake because of validating while being drunk etc.

To be honest ... lately i was thinking that dumb, no sense flips is a double-edged sword. Its harder to validate because of them but ... its also impossible for AI to figure it out. And we ... humans will always try to think what would majority do with such dumb flip and in most cases it works. AI will go random in such situation. So dumb, no sense flips do their job too (separeting bot from real person)... maybe even better than obvious flips (car driving, car crash, hospital, cemetery) because they are (or they will be) easy for AI.

I agree with you, but I think @john1010 is upset not about his score, but about the fact that he is under the limit of 2nd invite from the human status.

This might be the case. @john1010 - easier validation will be easier for everyone. With 100% easy flips score needed for 2nd invitation will go close to 100% and 2nd invitation will go to random people that was lucky enough that had all flips loaded during every single validation they take part in (so mostly new members because with every validation you expose yourself for risk of 1 not loaded flip - score lower than 100%).

I agree with you, but the fact is many people who are creating flips might doesn't know how to do it correctly or neither know the correct story word as a guideline in creating a good flip, the bad thing is, the validating system follow the images that the creator was uploaded. So we have no power to reject it because weather we like it or not we need to guess which one of the flip images are correct even though it will not tells story.

In this crucial case, maybe iDena must have a prevalidation session to make sure the flipping image created had correct with suitable and correlate story to the next validation. I'm okay if unsuitable but the image must have relevance to each other and easy to understand.

Even if the validation is not easy, this coin must be listed on big exchange like binance, gate.io etc to increase the trading volume, Once it is listed to such exchanges, no one prevent them to become the next ethereum, at minimum they can list it on yobit to attract more people otherwise this crypto is just another garbage
