I've got a May batch and none of the tweaks seem to do much for me. I do reboot every day or two though, I find that the hashrate drops if I don't. I got 8 of 'em, hosted with MichColo. If ambient is 25-29 C o average poolside is 1460 GH/s, if it is 30-35 C o average is 1375 GH/s. Update to the latest firmware an do the following: 1. Fans - 90% 2. Start volts (both) - 0.650 3. Max volt - 0.775 (this is irrelevant, as long as you have high enough value, cause you will be capped with PSU limit long before you reach 0.775) 4. Max power consumption - 1260 6. DC2DC - 62 7. Run for 5 hour on a decent pool, which will let you set your own DIFF to 1024. 8. Give a screenshot (not a copy paste please) of your ASIC stats page, and I will give you best settings for your miner, so you do not have to wait 5 hours to calibrate on your next restart. Also I do not reboot them, unless I have to change some settings. They are rock stable, they survived 40 C o extreme for several days. Almost 2 months hashing away happily

When i live "near Israel" they'll ship it 1/2 around the globe. Host it 6 months and will ship it back for "just" 300$? Then i have (1800+300)/6 = $350/month. Spondoolies hosting costs $1200/3 = $400/month and then i have a day0 miner (not 2+ days for shipping), after 3 months free shipping (from the Group buy) and a heater in the winter months After the next jump 1 day will be ~$66. IMHO the shipping around the globe cuts in the ROI more then Spondoolies own hosting. But everybody should do his own math Thinking the same thing but I think they want the hosting payment up front, with the already reduced hash rate And the possibility of not even making roi, why would I dump another $1800 into the same project. Might as well run it myself on 20v, like people say Winter is coming' In my case at 0.15c kwh I come out like $195 usd ahead (this does not include any fans/cooling I'd have to do on top of this electric wise) so with the extra $195 savings I can even ship the beastie back at EOL and have a door stop (I"m sentimental) so yeah in my case at my kwh rate it is better just to host probably at this point with their current deal Searing

Collider, jtoomim, Roadsress or anyone with the early machines: Please post your statistics and whether you achieved sustained ~4.5TH at 208-220V (please post your voltage) and what was the speed at 110/120V if applicable (I assume 4.1Th). Thanks.
Has anyone actually received the SP30 yet?
these are the 'july' batch i imagine dogie & perhaps roadstress didnt part with any coin, i could be mistaken there was a spondoolie post regarding 'our 63 units' earlier I paid a premium for a July shipment of one SP30, purchased through the April/July "Better Together" bundle that cost a bundle. My miner was shipped on July 30th, and arrived in Washington at our datacenter on August 1st. Our organization (which is mostly just my brother and I) has purchased a total of 68 units, not 63. Of those, 37 are from Roadstress's group buy, one I've already received, and the other 30 are September units. My SP30 has been running a smidgeon shy of 4.0 TH/s for a few days on 122V. I'm certain the SP30 can be run at higher hashrate on our 122V (since I saw it for a few minutes), but due to a bug in some of the earlier firmware versions I wasn't able to sustain that performance, and the current firmware hardcaps the PSU DC supply to 1080W. My miner has a record of being stress-tested at 4.5 TH/s in Israel, so I presume that once I have it on 200+V, I'll be able to get 4.5 TH/s or higher with it again. Current stats are below. I just rebooted it because I wanted check its fit in our racks. uptime:653 -----TOP-BOARD----- PSU-TOP[EMERSON1200]: 0->1080w[1080 1080 1076] (lim=1080) 0c cooling:0/0x0 LOOP[0] ON 0: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:677 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 60W 89A 52c] ASIC:[ 85c 690hz(BL: 690) 31 (E:193) F:0] 1: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:673 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 58W 85A 53c] ASIC:[ 85c 680hz(BL: 680) 29 (E:193) F:0] 2: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:677 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 62W 91A 48c] ASIC:[ 85c 690hz(BL: 690) 48 (E:193) F:0] LOOP[1] ON 3: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:673 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 61W 91A 54c] ASIC:[ 85c 690hz(BL: 690) 41 (E:193) F:0] 4: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:673 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 55W 81A 59c] ASIC:[ 85c 660hz(BL: 660) 38 (E:193) F:0] 5: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:677 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 61W 90A 60c] ASIC:[ 85c 700hz(BL: 700) 41 (E:193) F:0] LOOP[2] ON 6: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:675 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 57W 83A 60c] ASIC:[ 85c 670hz(BL: 670) 43 (E:193) F:0] 7: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:675 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 54W 79A 60c] ASIC:[ 85c 615hz(BL: 615) 34 (E:193) F:0] 8: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:673 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 51W 75A 48c] ASIC:[ 85c 585hz(BL: 585) 24 (E:180) F:0] LOOP[3] ON 9: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:673 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 63W 93A 61c] ASIC:[ 85c 695hz(BL: 695) 51 (E:193) F:0] 10: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:671 vlt2:680(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 63W 93A 65c] ASIC:[ 85c 710hz(BL: 710) 45 (E:193) F:0] 11: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:679 vlt2:682(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 63W 92A 67c] ASIC:[ 85c 735hz(BL: 735) 39 (E:193) F:0] LOOP[4] ON 12: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:677 vlt2:682(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 61W 90A 72c] ASIC:[ 85c 715hz(BL: 715) 38 (E:193) F:0] 13: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:677 vlt2:682(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 64W 94A 72c] ASIC:[ 85c 735hz(BL: 735) 39 (E:193) F:0] 14: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:677 vlt2:682(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 66W 97A 60c] ASIC:[ 85c 715hz(BL: 715) 43 (E:193) F:0] ----BOTTOM BOARD------ PSU-BOT[EMERSON1200]: 0->1080w[1080 1076 1080] (lim=1080) 0c cooling:0/0x0 LOOP[5] ON 15: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 52W 78A 48c] ASIC:[ 85c 650hz(BL: 650) 28 (E:193) F:0] 16: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 51W 75A 48c] ASIC:[ 85c 630hz(BL: 630) 30 (E:193) F:0] 17: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 59W 87A 46c] ASIC:[ 85c 680hz(BL: 680) 58 (E:193) F:0] LOOP[6] ON 18: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 58W 86A 55c] ASIC:[ 85c 690hz(BL: 690) 45 (E:193) F:0] 19: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 58W 86A 59c] ASIC:[ 85c 695hz(BL: 695) 35 (E:193) F:0] 20: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:673 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 53W 78A 56c] ASIC:[ 85c 645hz(BL: 645) 40 (E:193) F:0] LOOP[7] ON 21: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:671 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 53W 79A 62c] ASIC:[ 85c 665hz(BL: 665) 51 (E:193) F:0] 22: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 58W 86A 64c] ASIC:[ 85c 710hz(BL: 710) 39 (E:193) F:0] 23: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 57W 85A 53c] ASIC:[ 85c 690hz(BL: 690) 37 (E:192) F:0] LOOP[8] ON 24: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 46W 68A 54c] ASIC:[ 85c 555hz(BL: 555) 34 (E:191) F:0] 25: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:671 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 59W 88A 66c] ASIC:[ 85c 710hz(BL: 710) 36 (E:193) F:0] 26: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 60W 89A 69c] ASIC:[ 85c 720hz(BL: 720) 44 (E:193) F:0] LOOP[9] ON 27: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:669 vlt2:674(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 60W 90A 74c] ASIC:[ 85c 735hz(BL: 735) 52 (E:193) F:0] 28: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:675 vlt2:677(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 62W 91A 74c] ASIC:[ 85c 750hz(BL: 750) 40 (E:193) F:0] 29: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:673 vlt2:677(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:727) 63W 93A 62c] ASIC:[ 85c 750hz(BL: 750) 43 (E:193) F:0]

Our 250V transformer should be coming online soon. I might be able to sneak in a few tests on ~250V (maybe 254V) in a few days. Once we get inspected for our electrical work, I'll be able to put our SP30s on the 250V for good. Those of you who have been talking about hosting: you may want to take a look at my datacenter, the Toomim Bros. Bitcoin Mining Concern, Ltd. Our website is Toom.im. We're usually cheaper than hosting at home. We're also less expensive than any other hosting provider I know of, although a couple of other services come close. Rates for an SP30 (assuming 3 kW) are $270/month for month-to-month hosting with no installation fees, and $210/month if you pay 12 months in advance. We'll be coming online within two weeks. If you send an early August batch unit straight to us from Spondoolies, we might not be able to turn it on for a few days, since we're still finishing up construction and inspections. We should be fully ready for late August and all September units, though. Video tours are available on Skype (id: jtoomim). Jonathan

Here in NJ electricians are VERY expensive. I have a 100amp panel which is almost full and wanted to add a sub panel and a couple 240V circuits. I actually got two quotes. One was for $1200 and the other was $950. Installing new circuits you sometimes need to break down the sheet rock and do a lot of other things that just add to the cost. Once the electrician leaves then you need to do some sheet rock work, spackling, painting, etc. It adds up.
That's why we have a GB hosting offer and that's why we have a dedicated thread for colocation offers. Not that much. Instead of well over, maybe medium rare. Specifically it would be $4195, which I'll mark up to $4200. You don't think that's a little high for 4.5TH/s delivered in mid September? And I'm not trying to argue, being serious. I guess prices and money is all ones perspective since everyone has their own value of money. I work hard long days for my money, so I value every dollar. I'm not cheap or frugal, but I do try to get the best price on something I can, if I can.
$4200 is not " well over" in my opinion. Unrelated stuff: You managed to post 8 consecutive replies in 8 different post and you are not the only one to do that. Nice way to increase forum posts collider has one roadstress has one arriving 'today' dogie has one (or its en route) & 1 other brother, apologies i forget
...that i am aware of these are the 'july' batch i imagine dogie & perhaps roadstress didnt part with any coin, i could be mistaken there was a spondoolie post regarding 'our 63 units' earlier
I wish I didn't part with any coin. My July SP30 is part of one April SP10 and one July SP30 for which I paid a premium to get it before anyone else. Unfortunately it seems that DHL didn't deliver the package on Monday even it the custom part is done. I hope there will be movement today. Because this forum software is crap, obsolete and out of date. It is horrible when reading and you want to respond to posts but haven't finished reading the thread. I won't even get into the whole site operator sitting on a hoard of bitcoin and didn't even get custom forum software when bitcoin was $1000. Worst decision of the century. It is apparent he's just a hoarder and holding onto the coin.

Can someone (or ST) please tell me the best voltage settings for the SP10 on 208v. Should I just set it to Turbo? Or should I set it some other way? thanks in advance...
Mine is on turbo and getting 1.4TH/s pretty steady. Not sense to fool around with it.

August sales were open for some time when I organized the GB. My bet is after 15 August. But don't worry. Difficulty will jump only ~5% so we are good Good is a relative term... Some relief in the BTC price be nice.

Jonathan If I can get my hands on another SP-30 I would def be interested in your hosting deals, seems like the best rate out there right now. I calculated the amount of s3 units I would nee to simulate the performance of a SP30 and its around 11 s3s each using about 340 Watts would use up around 3800 watts of power a tad more than an SP30 plus you have more machines and PSU's you worry about. Ad on top of that even though they ship from stock they would cost you $600 or so more. SP-TECH rather than giving us a retroactive discount on the units we already ordered , we need coupons RIGHT now so those who are interested can put them towards September gear. I had set my mind on at least 6 TH of power this summer so for me to meet my hash power goal if I need to order another unit that is fine but I would like to get some sort of discount to make it more palatable. If I don't see anything in this thread by Thursday I'll contact sales and see if we can work something out for next week because I still think even with the lower hash rate SP-TECH makes the best miner on the planet.

No, I only bought one Better Together package. It was $14950 for both 1 SP10 and 1 SP30. I think my forecasts showed that about 1/3 of the revenue would come from the SP10, and 2/3 would come from the SP30. Come to think of it, I wonder how Spondoolies is going to calculate the compensation for that batch. Hmm. Anyway, 37 * $4.5k for the August GB that Roadstress put on, plus a bunch of September ones. We paid using our BTC holdings, and we do our accounting for miner costs and revenue in BTC, so the September units were significantly cheaper for us due to the roughly $590/BTC ratio then versus the $450/BTC when we bought into the August batch. I don't know what you mean about "gutted". I expect the SP30s to turn us a quite tidy profit, even for the July batch. Perhaps you're still using an exponential difficulty model with a 20% jump every two weeks? That's not going to happen, you know.

I will sing today once my unit is online. he didn't pay 13k$ for one unit. Part of them were from my GB and the other part is September Batch so all are under 6k$.

As there was a question about this yersterday:
My sp30 seems to be pretty much exactly at 4.5TH (and quite stable at that hashrate now, I didn´t see any psu recalibrating in the last 24h).
If I pointed it to gh, I might get an additional 50-100GH out of it but at this time I am not doing that.
If any of you have recently looked into the hosting thread, you might have seen that I am going to ship some sp30s to jtoomim´s hosting facility.
I can also confirm that the sp30 works very well on p2pool.

Almost 2 months hashing away happily Why did you limit PSU to 1260?

Why did you limit PSU to 1260?
Aren´t you supposed to limit the sp10 PSU to 1260?

Well pulled the trigger on the group buy hosting plan data center...figure $1800 usd at the 194 bucks less then me doing elec at home for 6 months (not counting cooling elec costs) made no sense not to host this beast..windows open for cooling in basement perhaps noisy to neighbors and or air conditioning in August likely needed cooling would be extra electric cost) and WTF I have a KNC Titan coming at 1250 watts or more and a 100 amp panel... WTH so pulled the trigger....just got the hosting package.
Anything a newb to hosting should know? ie myself?
Anyone know anything (or already is using) the Titan Data Center in WA state? If so what is the remote software like etc etc
just fishing for info

p.s. as a perk have some nice extra 220v plugs in the basement heh

I don´t think there will be a user interface, you will just have to set it up via email.
If you need a custom user-interface, hashplex is probably the way to go, but they only sell 1 year minimum hosting contracts.
Jtoomim´s facility can also port-forward your miner´s browser configuration page, so you will have direct control over the unit if you decide to host one there. (It should also be cheaper)

so you just watch it on Eclipse or whatever hashing and yell like hell if it goes offilne (not very satisfactory..but if it stays up and is solid satisfactory enough I guess) Searing
