Not the answer I was looking for unfortunately, but thanks for your reply.
I will add that our estimations on RB and systems preformance were honest. It wasn't a deliberate tactic. I did learn a lesson here. We also found the root cause, which we'll make sure not to repeat on future gens. I'm sorry that I'm vague here. We'll start another round of refunds (and complete the first one, we have problems with small number of international wires) soon. Guy should work on the underpromise/overdeliver model a bit. By comparison, almost every single bitmain product has been capable of acheiving 10% over spec S1: 180->200GH S2: 1TH->1.15TH S3: 440GH->500GH S4: 2TH->2.2TH while i 100% agree with the sentiment, every single bitmain product has been an overpriced, failing/used piece of shit. s1 was the best of the bunch - but without days of 'fixing' they were shit. s2 was just overpriced shit, they revised it about 5 times, each time it was shit - when they finally got it right - they stopped selling them and continued mining them instead. i bought 4, all four were fucked up - all four took MONTHS of emails to get more shit sent... 2 of them are STILL fucked and run only 9 boards sorry, but fuck bitmain!!

if you want reliable, stable, quality bitcoin miners with excellent customer service - there really is only one manufacturer that you can rely on. Everything with Spondoolies is honest and up-front and not 'made in china'.
I remember when i was a nipper, I'd get toys at christmas 'made in china' they'd always break, become defunct or not work properly. Things don't change just because your loyalty makes you blinkered.
buy spondoolies, or expect issues.

one my psu is dead (the guy who power cycle the rig said that the PSU threw spark out of the fan ) There is no more support for this SP-10 now. Can SP-T tell me what's the PSU model I shall buy ? Can you send a fresh new one ? The SP10 uses a DS1050-3 power supply. However, I've found in the past that the DS1050-3 PSUs you can get on the market (e.g. ebay) do not work with the SP10, since there is some difference in how they supply 5V to the miner. The DS1200-3 used by the SP30 also works in the SP10. You can get those on ebay too, but the ebay ones also don't work in the SP10 because of the 5V issue. However, in the SP30, the 5V for the control board is shared between the top PSU and bottom PSU, and if either one correctly supplies 5V, then the machine works. As a result, what you can do (and what I've done in the past when we had a SP10 with a failed PSU, before we got spare PSUs from Spondoolies) is you can buy an ebay DS1200-3 PSU, stick it in an SP30, and then put the SP30's DS-1200-3 into the SP10. Spondoolies will probably be able to send you a fresh PSU, though. You'll get better support if you email support@spondoolies-tech.com instead of posting in the forum.

Still waiting for the GB compensation... Yesterday i got: We are preparing your refund, but our bank is having difficulty with the wire. Can we send your refund in bitcoin? It will probably be faster. If that is ok, please send me your wallet address. Why not directly? Why firs a request asking for 20 different Bank things. If any bank "is having difficulty" with a normal wire transfer I would asap close this bank account!

We have trouble with international wires all the time, and we use Bank of America Commercial account. Pretty typical, if you need the money back ASAP I would take the BTC. SPTech is certainly not KnC who will hold your refund for 6+ months.

I'm glad to announce that the entire October batch of SP31 has been shipped out.
It will take us another day to send you all the tracking numbers and AWB, however we wanted to assure you that all the units are on their way.
We are still working hard to ship out all the SP20s by tomorrow and will continue to update you.
Your patience is much appreciated,
Gadi

No kiddin', I am waiting on a refund from you for longer than 3 months now, numerous requests, pm's, totally ignored service tickets, still waiting on the shipping cost return, where you are again working on for 5 weeks now, the extra X3 psu was refunded, but $30 short. Come on.

You mean about the fact that 3 days prior to their shipping deadline they had no clue if they could ship or not? And 24 hours before there is no additional news? I may be angry, but it's better than being a pushover who just accepts these poor business practices.

Why all the concern..SP has a pretty solid track record for shipping on time. If it is delayed a day or so it will not really make a big difference. You need to pop a Xanax or 3 and chill out.

S2 - disagree. My S2 power supply failed, the original Enermax 1000 was inadequate. Also I get a pretty solid 1TH/s, which is on-spec and I'm happy with, but I certainly don't get anything over spec.

You mean about the fact that 3 days prior to their shipping deadline they had no clue if they could ship or not? ...
We're working through the weekend to meet the October shipping deadline. The reasons for the last minute shipping are numerous and has also very much to do with unauthorized strikes in Israel sea ports, see for example here. It happens also in previous months, we had to ask the carrier to change route, deliver to cypress and fly the parts into Israel. We're going through hoops to make sure the entire material needed for production arrives on time. It's an enormous, challenging task. Right now we're producing the SP20 and we'll ship them after the proper burn-in tests in Flextronics. It might be slipped to the beginning of next week. If this will be the case, we'll compensate. Guy
