Yes, that's what you like about Beterbiev, now we hear that he wanted to fight his fellow Russian in a unification.

But the comparison or style is really contrasting as what other have define it. In any case though, obviously power > speed. But if that power can't connect, it will be a big waste. And if the speed always connect although not that powerful, it might have a effect as the fight goes on.

So very hard to digest this upcoming fight to be honest.

Fighting strategy will be the key to both side, Bivol's speed might affect Beterbiev in terms of trying to corner and throw those solid
punches, but, if he finds that rhythm, it will be a big problem for Bivol.

I like the optimistic view of Yarde though, live to fight another day. He will have his chance again as long as he lives but if his camp didn't stop that, bad injuries could happen and it might shorten his career.

Both are the current best fighters in their respective weight division and probably the most anticipated fight of the decade because the two are not gonna delay this fight when they still have the chance, unlike those two fighters that don't have any consideration no matter how the fans wanted to see them fight in the right when they still at their prime but instead they are avoiding each other until now. Well, it's indeed much better for Crawford to get his name under a promotional banner that has influence rather than pushing his luck while flying solo because his odds to get a championship fight is certainly low and only an influential promoter can grant him that kind of fight. He will get his chance if the negotiation for a rematch will materialized, for now Yarde can speak whatever he like abut the win still with Beterbiev, we all witness what happen and how Yarde really give his best in trying to win the fight but Beterbiev is too much and his camp decided to give it up and save Yarde's future career.

I am also with Bivol here even though he will be a heavy underdog but I think Bivol has a 50/50 chance of winnings if he can withstand Beterbiev's strong punches.

Yeah, it's probably Hearn offers better money and incentive to boxers that's why most American are going under his banner although he is a non American. Or he could go like the route of Canelo, signing just 3 fights and then try to look at more options after that. In view of all these speculations, I would just like to see Inoue in action, I don't care who he is with, be it Canelo, Bivol with whomever, but I want to see the debut of a new weight and category for Inoue, because this The boxer has proven to be a genius in every sense of the word, I don't know if these things cause cirity in others but in my personal opinion I want to see this boxer in a scenario where he does not dominate and is proactically new in every way. Naoya Inoue is moving in weight and relinquishing his undisputed status as the ultimate ruler in the bantamweight division.

The Japanese fighter has notified the World Boxing Council that he will vacate its title to move up to the super bantamweight division.

He also intends to inform the IBF, WBO, and WBA of his decision.

Mentality, definitely. Somehow he absorbed the punches of Beterbiev, especially those uppercuts that he threw a lot of times. I even saw Yarde try to mimic the same move and it didn't connect.  It could've been a game-changer.
He survived physically, but the fact that Beterbiev doesn't look like he is affected by the punches thrown by Yarde may have got to his head. He slowed down and then Beterbiev caught him before his corner stopped it, they know the next one will be dangerous considering the time is still long and it could hurt their boxer more.
I am sure he will be back, he may have seen some light that he can really do it. Harder training methods will fill the gaps and he is still young.

If Jake accepts this challenge, he will have himself a death wish. Though he still have a fight against Tommy by the end of Feb, but this one from Beterviev should be next lol.

Later down the road with Beterbiev retires, maybe they will want to go and fight. But not this version of Arthur, Jake Paul will avoid it at all cost. Not sure though why Beterbiev is calling Paul, do they have a beef or something in the past?
