I bet that most of your dissatisfaction is due to the fact that you made a BTTS bet  I guessed? If yes, then congratulations on your luck - a goal in the 11th added minute is a rarity even for the Premier League.
I haven't seen the game, and I don't think that despite the title it was important and we can draw any conclusions here. However, they write that Guardiola was very unhappy after the game.

overall, just as you said, I will have to think through my team, not sure what players deserve to be in, but Haaland with 14 million is not worth it, but risky to not have

Yes i feel like i waste my sunday morning seeing the game, really lack of enthusiasm and footbal in both teams.

Arsenal was very lucky really they play really bad and they find the tie in a lucky shoot.

We only can hope to see an  upgrade in performance for EPL. and yes its gonna be this its played more like a pre season game than a real one.

Halaand had 0 shots on goal for 64 minutes, thanks to Kovsasic in the middle - he always runs with his head down. The biggest blunder City will make now is losing B.Silva. Now that Mahrez and Gundogan have left, he is the only quality player who can affect the game on his own. The Parmer guy got some Mahrez in him. Tbh.

Arteta is still making the same mistake with Kai, playing him as ST is the same as having nobody up there. He's useless!

Timber is a breast! Loving him already.

Did you watch this game or are you writing about Kovačić from your Chelsea experience? I think he was arguably the best City player while he was on pitch, helping a lot with the transition and it was his first official game for the club.

Haaland was not very convincing today and he is so expensive. At the same time Kane scored 4 goals, I really hope Kane leaves to Bayern and removes that headache from me. Spurs will play much more attacking this season and Kane ended up last season with just 9 points less than Haaland. There is no money in my team for both and I want Kane but I am afraid to go without haaland.

For a community shield,  this definitely looked like a friendly match without the big names in the game!
And for me personally, this was below par for a game that looked like will have a lot of fireworks as the renewed their rivalry with the Premier league just around the corner...honestly just disappointing!

Otherwise very unfortunate for City who might have already started celebrating 🍾 prematurely without securing  their victory,  good to see some silverware go Arsenals way!!

Mateo Kovacic was the best player for Manchester City while he was on, he got subbed off because Manchester City needed a touch of Kevin De Bruyne's creativity to influence the game, not because he was not playing well.

I was very impressed with him and the number of blocks and interceptions he made. His versatility makes him a very important signing for Arsenal.

Man I saw the game and I'm not saying he's a poor player; he was one of my favourites, but his end product in the final third of the pitch is always frustrating; he's better defensively, winning the ball, and roaming around in the middle.

He now plays in a more attacking team and a little bit up front, so I expect more than just running around. Too early to talk about him anyway.

I absolutely think that you should be here. You proved to all the forum how successful you were about the Premier League topic last year. Now you need to test yourself in some other field. Besides fantasy football is really very enjoyable. Especially if you are addicted to games like Football Manager just as me then it becomes even more enjoyable.

Happy to take your suggestion. I'm currently assembling my team - So far I'm decided on Harland, Odegaard and possibly Allison but Liverpool's defense is shitty right now. It's my first attempt at fantasy football. Looking like it's going to be a lot of fun in the coming weeks.
