Here are the outcome for today games (showing yesterday on images because of my timezone). The Nigeria - Libya game was kind of boring and I don't understand what was the Libya goalie doing fainting always, their players were also in on the time wasting tactics.

The time wasting tactics was horrible and wasn't proffeisonal or do they think it is the finals that's being played. Bad referring from the officiate too and having to wait untill the 80th+ minute before I could celebrate a goal we terrible.

I didn't expect too many attacks from Libya in this game though because they were never a threat to Nigeria but atleast they tried and almost got a draw from the game.  I don't know why I didn't go ahead with my bets because I had it already ticked as goalless draws for the first half but it was the odd that discouraged me.

Good game from Cameroon, Benin, Senegal, South Africa and Ivory coast. Thanks to them for bringing the goals to the show, wished I watch those games instead of the Nigeria game.

It was quite unfortunate I didn't watch the match yesterday but then again I never regretted why I didn't watched it because when i check scores online, first half Nigeria played goalless draw even with the big chances and possessions it was so annoying. You know there
are  some match you won't be watching but by checking scores it will be as if you are watching it and you can predict what is going to happen in the next 10-15 minutes the most annoying part is that they gave Nigeria small winning odd hoping Nigeria is going to mess them up but that wasn't the case yesterday I mean it was a narrow escape for Nigeria.

Those who are saying the boys should come and play together so that they can understand each other pattern of play it make sense though but if I may ask those other countries that are playing well how many times have played with their teammates, country like Senegal, Morocco and many others they always play well despite them playing in different European club.

Do you mean Victor Boniface? Well, I don't know if he wasn't in a good mood before that game but he wasn't playing like the normal Victor Boniface we see and watch play for Bayern Leverkusen. How is that not a goal scored by Ademola Lookman? Why do I feel like I'm not the only one that thinks that CAF is trying to raise an agenda against Ademola Lookman?

Victor Boniface was not even noticeable on that match unlike him that normally create a lot of chances, although in the case of being in a good mood I'm very sure he was on a good mood because if you watch the whole players from there training till yesterday they played the match there was nothing like misunderstanding between them and they were all in unity, perhaps that's just how his strength could carry him yesterday, so let's hope for more better performance from him on there next match.

About the goal Ademola Lookman scored I don't no way they cancel it because he was clearly onside because there was a Libya player who kept him some inches onside but I was sad when they cancel the goal because it was obvious he scored a clean goal, well the most important thing is that the match went well for us because our 3 point has been added.

I wonder why these out strikers underperform in these games that they should be scoring and hitting the target always. These strikers are prolific for their clubs, why do they look mediocre when playing for the Super Eagles? The only keen attacker we have  still remains Ademola Lookman, It is a pity he was robbed of his goal.

We can do better, the boys need to play more games in training together, our strikers need more shooting practice.

One thing Boniface fails to understand when playing for Nigeria is that African football doesn’t welcome all the fancy tricks he wants to do African defenders will hardly fall for them and if he keeps doing it the fans will soon call him out. If he keeps playing this way he will never be able to get playing time when Osimhen is available. He should play seriously for his country and not just him they all play like they are too big to represent the country the only players i exclude are Lookman, Osimhen and probably Ekong they are the only ones that play with heart.
Boniface should change his play and should be more focused on scoring as a striker no one wants to see the skills you have as a striker just the goals that matters.

I carefully watched the match of today between Nigeria and Libya and I drew the following conclusions.

• Nigeria has good players but majority of them lack capacity or motivation to represent Nigeria.
• This could be because of Nigerians bad economic situation that made the boys lose interest.
• Victor Osimhen seems to be the only one that plays with Passion.
• Lookman didn't show capacity and motivation until Boniface was substituted.
• Work needs to be done on the team, so much work.

You’re right in your assessment. I dare say that Eyinmba FC starting eleven will do better than this Super Eagles team did against Libya. The players lack hunger but I wouldn’t say their lack of motivation is because of poor state of the economy. It just doesn’t correlate. Most of these players are playing in Europe and are doing very well for themselves. People are suffering in Nigeria right now, football is one of the few things that gives Nigerians joy and for 90+ minutes we can forget our problems. It will be unfair if the players are playing poorly on purpose.

Another underwhelming performance in the bag. I know the general idea is to celebrate and be happy with these sort of wins but It wasn't encouraging to see us struggling at home to a team that shouldn't be much of a challenge to us on a good day. Imo, it's only a matter of that before these low scoring games backfire us on just as it did during the Afcon final back in February. Games like the one today against Libya should be heavily dominated by our team.

I was not happy about Nigeria's super eagle performance today, Ive not yet seen any improvement from the national team considering how they were pressured by a minion team like Libya in their home. I saw how Nigeria struggled to net a goal with the help of Bashiru when they had all the opportunity to score the team with much goal difference. Nigeria end up losing their chances to later score a goal and be happy. Is this how we envisage winning the world cup when till date we fail woefully in the continental championship like AFCON. We really need to wake up guys.

You sound funny mate, what is making you to have the dreams that Nigeria will win the world cup. I am not saying that it is impossible but maybe that will not be during our generation because there are a lot of countries out there that are pretty good, well coordinated with good coaches, and superstars. Nigeria should think of winning the AFCON back to back first, after also qualify easily to the world cup before we can start having hopes of winning the world cup.

From the way I am seen the performance, I don't think we will even scale through the group stage. Because those games I was thinking Super Eagles would win, were the one they play less. Though in football, we don't have to degrade a team because they are not strong or did not perform well in their previous games. That yesterday game Super Eagles won as narrow escape. The gave would been draw. I could remember what Libya coach Nasser Al-Hadiri said, He knows that Nigeria has a good squad but he was prepared. And the way Libya played yesterday was good. And their goalkeeper was really good. We should not put in our minds that Super Eagles will play the final. If they will, we would have seen it now.

Observe most of the goals Boniface has scored for his club, it's always soft touches and less of aggression like what is required in African football. He made some nice tricks in front of the goal post but got dispossessed immediately by the Libya defence. If osimehn was in the team, we would have scored more goals right from the first half because the only thing that's missing in the game was an active attacker that would have shake that defense or possibly shoot from a distance like how the only goal came about.

If you take out the unprofessional display our opponent came with and remove how they delayed the game beyond an acceptable standard, we actually played very well and maintained a good position of the ball which is something to take out from this game. The lack of clinicallity in front of goal is what needs to be worked on in the team but also, we should be better prepared for tougher games in the main tournament which will require us to play a lot of touches and not the kind we played at the AFCON finals.

hahaha, you made me laugh so hard when you said Eyimba first eleven can do more better than the Super Eagles of Nigeria and on a serious note is really very bad because we know that our government is not helping football in the country but this players needs to try their best at least for the sake of her citizens who are always excited to watch them as they play. This made me remember the last Africa cup of Nation finals between the Super eagles and Ivory coast like majority of Nigerians were watching this game on their TV hoping that the Super Eagles will win but they disappointed in toto. The reason I pity Victor Boniface is that this opportunity that he is having to start as a striker for the Super Eagles will not always be there if he fails to score and continues to perform below expectations I'm sure the coach will start off other options as we have strikers available to take his place. What I think is his problem is that he always likes to dribble and score a spectacular goal and because he likes his goal to be always spectacular he wastes too much time on the ball and that has really affected his goal scoring chances.

It can be about the agenda against him, at the same time, maybe it is just bad officiating still, our officials are very poor with decision making.

Libya possible XI: Al Wuhayshi, Elkouri, Yusuf, Al Mabrouk, Erteiba, Al Badri, Salama, Al Shreimy, Al Khoja, Krawaa, Al Gleib

This both teams had their last encounter in 2018 in qualifiers like this and Nigeria win the match 3-2, and here we go today again, the Nigeria lineup are set but without Victor Osimhen, I felt sad because he didn't show up but still we still have great players that can deliver but if he's among it will also create tension for the opponent, I still trust my country in this game.

Nigeria are currently leading with four points which showed they won one and drew one, followed by Benin with three points, Rwanda and Libya haven't secured a win since from the start, I don't know of Rwanda but for Libya I think it's going to be difficult because they will be facing Nigeria today.

Nigeria national football team was favorite for that match and they won the match eventually. The match was tough for Libya national football team  because Nigeria  team players are in good form and they are prepared for any kind of situation. They did one goal in this match and got first position in the ground stage by getting 7 points in 3 matches . And Libya team performance is very bad and they are losing the matches and they have only 1 point .Benin team performance is good and they can give tough time to Nigeria team because they have good players but we are disappointed after this match because Libya team gave poor performance.

Talking about Victor Boniface, I think you are actually spot on, this is actually not going to be easy for him playing that way, especially in African football where physicality is the center of everything, we really miss the attacking prowess of Victor Osimhen yesterday no doubt and that made the Libyan defense to be very much comfortable defending against us.

Then as for the time wasting of the Libyans, to me their is nothing to be surprised about and their is nothing unprofessional about their attitude of wasting time because they have to do what they have to do to get even a single point, and to be honest, it almost paid off.

Dele-Bashiru scored a beautiful goal yesterday. Lookman also scored a superb goal, not many players can find the back of the net from that angle, it’s a shame that goal was disallowed. Both goals were incredible but we need our stickers to start scoring. Victor Boniface has not scored in this competition. Please have some faith in the Super Eagles. We made it to the finals in the last AFCON, and the Super Eagles didn’t even perform this well in the beginning. We made it to the finals by winning one nil victories. Let’s not repeat the same mistake we made last time, not supporting the team when they needed our support. This is the best time to throw our support behind the team, we shouldn’t cast our own and only support them when they have made it to the quarter finals.

This was Victor Osimhen's message to his friend Victor Boniface. We have to have confidence in the young prolific striker. Watching him play in Bayer Leverkusen shows that he has great potential. I heard somebody say he is even more tactical than Osimhen; this comment is arguable. But I think the coach has confidence in him and he needs the support of the fans. Nigerians want goals from him, but much criticism will put him under pressure. I believe what Osimhen said when the goals start coming, it will keep raining. It might even start on Tuesday, maybe.

Recently, the Coach, Augustine Aguoveon just made a comment after yesterday's slight victory against Libya concerning the Super Eagle's most especially Victor Boniface's performance, that the reason why he failed to scores was Boniface's inability/struggles to make quick goal attempt when he had the opportunities,  unlike how he plays when he is playing for Bayer Leverkusen, which lead to him scoring over 37 goals in just 43 appearances while playing at the clubs level last reason. As this also boils down to the point that our Super Eagles players need more time to practice and understand each others playing pattern, which is what I expect our coach Augustine Aguoveon to come up with before our next match.

Though we all know that nothing is impossible expecially when it comes to football where we have seen smaller team winning bigger team but in the case of Nigeria winning the world cup it is very much impossible, Nigeria can't even play well or perform better in the AFCON where are mates are talk more of winning the FIFA World cup where all the best football country comes to play different continent, honestly Nigeria don't have with it takes to win the FIFA World cup what they should focus now is how they can win the AFCON title and also try to be qualify in every world cup tournament maybe probably they can win the world cup one day but certainly not this generation just as you have said @Sim_card.
