It's clear, most footballers are not even playing to how much was spent on them. The passion is missing, the ability to work for the huge sum being paid is nothing to talk about. The Super Eagles are made of world class players, whatever bad performance we experience can be traced to coaches and less time to strategies along a permanent coach.

The coaches are all to blame at worst and likely to get the applause when his team is on their best performance, coach like Pep we can't deny how good he is, has done it with different clubs not just Mancity, if any team under his management fails to be progressive then fault is detected from the players. In the case of United, i don't think the coach is even to be blamed after changing several coaches, i see the squads but to some extent there is still some lacking with how they make good use of goal scoring opportunities and that has brought them great downfall.

If they go by the payment each players was signed and their contribution on the team, they would certainly ask some of them for some refunds because we have seen a lot of players that was spent so much on being outperformed by the ones they spent less on, though I will not say it was because of how they care less of the club growth because they wouldn't want to have an infamous reputation but just unfortunate they could not helped themselves. However I'm waiting patiently for the CAF Qualification to start and we are located in the group C of the league featured by six strong clubs but just like always we will outshine the group.

Since Nigerian Football Association has politicized the whole sports, the passion of footballers like those days are no more. NFF hand picked whom they like and that what George Finidi complain last week, he Said, "a Coach can't do well and the players can't perform well when the football management direct the Coach whom to select in a match and not allowing the coach to select whom he dimfit to play the match". And that is what is really is happening. Jay Jay Okocha also said last week, Nigeria Super Eagles is politicized. So the best players are not in the field but the management favorite players are on the field so the few good players on the field also suffer the poor performance of the unqualified players. Because of the stipend, the politicians bring in their persons to the team and not the merited players.
And you can see that clearly from what is happening in the coach. The coach who made the Super Eagles to qualified in the Nations Cup is not  qualified to take the Super Eagles to qualify in the coming World Cup Qualifiers. What an irony. And those the same teams are still found in the group in the world cup.

It is obvious that somebody in the NFF is benefiting from the signing of foreign managers. I believe their decision was made for financial gain and not in the interest of the team. This  charade is a disrespect to Nigeria local coaches. The foreign manager doesn’t even have an impressive record. Augustine Eguavoen was actually doing a decent job with the Super Eagles. Why did the NFF employe a man that was sacked at his last job. Corruption has indeed affected our football sector.

There should definitely be a financial benefit of some of these officials of the NFF for such appointments because if they can’t gain anything, they will rather leave a local coach to keep coaching the team, and the Nigerian based coaches are actual long bad, they are trying their best, just that they are also not completely pure especially when they come to team selection, they also have personal interest just like other coaches across the world.

For the success of the Super Eagile team as a whole; I wish this coach the best of luck; but he is an African coach that have some experience in the African Cup of Nation, I hope he can do well or act differently and do his best to help the Super Eagles achieve something great in the future.

However; I will like the NFF to stick to one coach because changing of coaches do always destabilize teams that is why coaches that are in one team for long are actually doing the right thing because they know their players.

In my opinion right? They should dissolve all of them if that will brings changes to our football federation.

Whatever they are doing, I don't care who lead the team or who makes the final decision. My wish is to see our super eagles in World Cup, it's a pity that we don't make it out of group stage but if we can manage it and get it right with this new coach, I'm more than welcoming anyone to support the team. I watched the press broadcast today, it was looking chaotic a little. I thought that Eric Chelle would be the focal point but the NFF placed him at the side and they became the focal point. Whatever though they should give the new coach the freedom and independence to do his work without any interference. If they do this we are a step closer to the super eagles winning more matches.

Actually even if the NFF made a wrong choice of selection in terms of coach or are seen as people who do their selection because of what they aim to achieve from the coach will not even make anybody to sack all the members because there is no evidence, though this choice of coach is a very questionable one because there are things someone will do and when even a stranger saw it they will resent it, however in as much as positive changes is what we want but removing NFF could elongate the problem of super eagles, though I was thinking they would change their mind about the new coach but since they preferred a bad record over the good one, we have to follow the ship.

I believe he was appointed because of some reasons and he is going to take full responsibility of the outcomes, there is no way they will tell him what to do when they will not be the ones to take full responsibility of the outcomes. However, I think suggestions will be welcome but he doesn't need to accept all of them.

Whether he is good or not, whether his past records says alot or he is not fit for this role, we can't say now unless we played more games to validate his position. He might be lucky to put the boys in good place and things can go bad too in the beginning but time will tell if he is worthy of that position. I'm not against anything or who they appoint as the lead, as long as they win matches and we qualify for anything, I'm in for it.

Yes coaching can't be a one man job, but he has more say in what happens. He's the one that decides which strategy/formation for each game they players will use and who gets to start based on their performance in trainins.

He'll have suggestions/recommendations from his assistant coaches but he gets to make the final decision because whatever the outcome of the game becomes, it's the coach that takes the full blame.

For the appointment, what has happened has happened and there isn't much that can be done about it for now. Lets all give the new coach some benefits of doubts and watch him coach the boys in some games before we start to condemn him when we haven't given him the chance to prove to us what he got.

Apart from Senegal, the other two countries can be easy for Nigeria, but it will depend on the level of preparedness of the Super Eagles that can tell if they can conveniently win Sudan and Congo. Congo can be a very stubborn opponent sometimes but i don't know about Sudan, i haven't really observe how they play but i think they won't be problematic to the Super Eagles. I just hope the Super Eagles should not use same mentality they used in the qualifying series and apply in this competition. Anyways, i wish them good luck but the really need to improve their game this time around.

In A, Morocco, DR. Congo and Angola are the strong teams to watch. In group B, Burkina faso is the only team I know that is good. In group C. Guinea and in the group D, Nigeria would have taken all the other teams as work over but you will see that they will be disappointing fans even in the group stage.

The grouping looks a a bit tough, though some big nations are having a less difficult group. The African football have improved in recent years and no team can be considered an easy test. Regardless, there are still some teams who are favorites in qualifying but still doesn’t guarantee them qualification.

In the Group A, a very tough group, probably the toughest group in the tournament, Morocco are the favorites to qualify, Congo, Kenya, Zambia and Angola are all having the same chance to qualify from that group.

In the group B, I think both Burkina Faso and Tanzania are in a good position to qualify, for sure it very tough group too and qualifications might reach the last day to be confirmed.

In group C, so for with the group yet to be completed I think Uganda stand in a very good position to qualify.

Then in group D, where the tournament favorite are, both Nigeria and Senegal are favorites in winning the tournament, so I think both of them should make it out of that group.

The fact of the matter is that this current NFF that we have is playing politics with Nigerian football and if you are someone who is observant enough you will see that Nigerian football has not made any significant improvements in their tenure right from the days of amaju pinick their now in FIFA this coach is not better than Samson siasia, Amunike,victor ekpeba and even the coach that was there as interim manager which the  Ghana national team has already hired

So personally speaking I don't see anything that this coach will bring to the national team because there is politics behind his coming to Nigeria because if you look at the track record of this coach I don't see anything spectacular about the coach with the way things are going currently I don't see nigeria qualifying for the world cup

Yes you are right, Nigeria is in a good position to qualify in this stage because they are more inform than others, Nigeria have good players but the problem is they usually don't function well each time they are playing for example victor osime he is a very good player who plays very well for his club but when ever his playing for his country he put all his energy but still no good result I really don't know if his team mate are the cause, it could be his team mate because victor osime is striker so he needs someone that will be giving him good pass so he can score and there's no one doing it for him in the Nigeria team.
Ademola lookman is one player that has been playing very well, he has helped the Nigeria team in winning a lot of matches he has done very well, the way his playing in his club that's same way his playing for Nigeria and he really deserve the African best player they gave him,
The only team or country that I think will give Nigeria team a tough time in this group is Senegal however Nigeria still have more opportunities of qualifying in this group.
