In a reaction placed on that link:

" These latest OpenSSL bugs again largely affect web servers, with the additional requirement that the client (i.e. browser) is also using OpenSSL. It seems only Chrome on Android uses OpenSSL and is vulnerable to these, most other popular browsers, regardless of OS, are secure."

So it is not that bad at all for most, I think.

All wallets use openssl so you can update them again in the next weeks...

Now that we're on Bittrex anda Swisscex, it seems everyone's forgotten about Mintpal voting
https://www.mintpal.com/voting#NLG

It's great we're on 2 exchanges, but what happens in 3 months, 6 months time, when we want to be aiming to be on a larger exchange as things start to really take off?

We'll be left behind (on Mintpal at least), that's what will happen.

I counted the votes over the last 24 hours on Mintpal

We went from 1960 - 1971.
That's just 11 votes in 24 hours.

Not only that, my personal votes were 1961, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1971..... that's 8 of the 11 votes.

So, as a community, excluding my vote, there were only 3 votes between you all.

We need to do better than that, much better!

It's 10 seconds out of your day to click and vote, that's all..... every little helps the community move forward. Remember, we're not aiming to get on Mintpal now, or in the next 3 months - we're building for the future, and the future starts now!

Who's with me?

https://www.mintpal.com/voting#NLG

I stopped voting after reading the below link. I see even Bram noticed. Mintpal just seems like a exchange that list PnD coins in my eyes now and there overall volumes have dropped to 2k. I think Cryptsy might be a better option?

Hi everyone,

I would like to give you some insight to our strategy and development. You probably have noticed that after the four serious merchants it has been a bit quiet on that side.

It would be nice if we could buy a beer with the worldchampionship soccer and in the summertime with NLG.

Maybe we can join together at a soccermatch with a beer:)

Question to the community: which QR reader do you use? Personnaly I have an android phone with QR Droid and QR Code Reader installed.
When I scan the QR code from the wallet tutorial with QR Droid it asks me if I want the link to be opened with Play Store, which is good.

The QR Code Reader app, however, sends me directly to the internet: not convenient at all.. Same applies for new tutorial.
As I don't have an iphone, maybe someone in the community can test how apple products react with different QR apps..

All reports  appreciated.

Icebear

The same here. Only QR Droid does it.

Count me in if that lady is also present Wink.

There are no pubs yet that accept GuldenCoin right?  Maybe we should go and find some Smiley.

Mintpal will add this coin when they finally look at it. It's a no brainer that NLG already has more use then most coins and updates keep happening. When people eventually see what's going on here and how this community gets on so well they will want to help build it more. I will be in Netherlands in October so I want to buy beers like posters above have said.

In general swisscex doesn't have high volumes for any coins, they are doing a system overhaul which might improve things, with that said it's a honest exchange with honest volume.

I'm happy to update the tutorials but I'm thinking it would be better to have one place with the most recent versions.
Suggestions about such place are welcome. Maybe a new thread? Or a blog?

Thanks for mentioning it. I created a guldencoin.conf with contents:

addnode=seed1.guldencoin.com
addnode=seed2.guldencoin.com
addnode=seed3.guldencoin.com
addnode=seed4.guldencoin.com
addnode=seed5.guldencoin.com
addnode=seed6.guldencoin.com
addnode=seed7.guldencoin.com

And now it is syncing. I have 4 active connectons.

It's good to see NLG has settled at a higher price now compared to under 100 2 weeks ago. So that's +30% profit for those that bought up the lows.
I think the price might go back to 110 or a bit below as the team stated no more merchants until they finish other projects, at that point there will be a turnaround and price will settle closer
to 200 satoshis. With a increase in bitcoin prices lately and NLG going up it's only a win win for the currency.

So for me anything under 110 is a good buy opportunity as I don't think there will be any news for the coin for the next 2 weeks to a month.

2 weeks for a update would be great, it means prices will fall below 100 and I will be getting more NLG as the price dips below 110 that I can promise you.
