And if you want to live with a lot of luxury, you will also need to invest a lot more.
It all comes down to how well you want to live, some people have the dream to have a very luxury retirement, while others are fine living a little more simple life.

Yes and we should also keep in mind what would be the value of bitcoin after 20 years, its not possible though to judge it , but its better if we have some higher amount then we required.

I think I will need more then 100 btc to live a good and extra ordinary life I will try to have some more of it as I cannot take any risk at the time of retirement.

Only 100 btc? Wow, you must really live a clean and balanced life.
100 btc ? I think it is not enough to feel luxurious and happy life in the 20 years to come. we predicted prices in 20 years to come, probably only about $1000.
100 BTC = $100k.
what you can get with just a $100k? even you can not buy a big house mate ?
100 BTC still lacking

That's right, and maybe we should set aside bitcoin as part of our retirement fund, we should still focus on our fiat savings..bitcoin should be an extra..but that is right, its really up to you on how you want your life when you retire, and its up to how much you want to invest in bitcoin today..

I expect the price to be around 5k by then. So having 100 bitcoin would give me a a nice pension fund.
I don't need much money for retirement, just enough to live a comfortable life.

Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?

Me too, when you are old you dont need to much money as you only want to live a simple yet peaceful life. but if you retire young then you would need a lot of money.

Even old people have a dream of living lavish and luxury life totally depends on individual how he wants to live and its always good to hold more amount of coins.

You cant live a peaceful life just by not working(retired) and needing less money. It depends if you have a own house and most of the basic needs and not want to move somewhere else ,particularly to a high standard economy.

How ? It could happen if we see Bitcoin banks or else there would be no pensions or bonds and the premium would remain the same unless you exchange or invest.

Maybe ~BTC200 Smiley

Depending how much you spend right in your retired years.
I'd probably want 50 btc if not more lol. Cause more never hurts, if anything it just makes you able to do more things.

Yeah and we should be also prepared with worst scenario we might face if the value is low in future so its always best thing to hold maximum number of coins.

That will be depending on the value. And that is really hard to predict, because you never know what will happen with the value and that is the problem.
I hope that it will be more worth later, and that many people are going to use it. But you need a lot of coins.

Well said if we are in the best side no matter what happens, with the increased price we can have a good life, but its really important to consider the worst scenario and get prepared to meet it. I believe we can be prepared but such situation won't happen.

It is a good thing that you are actually thinking of your future. We cannot say how much bitcoin do you need right now once you retire in 20 years. I believe so that how you can have will depend on your future, and this is also upon the price value of bitcoin in the future..

That is really hard to say. Because you never know what will happen with the value, because it is a currency and you cant predict that.
So that is quite hard and bad. But we all hope of course that the value will be very high in the future.

The more the better is cool. But it should not stay as bitcoin also. Get the profit from it and start saving it as fiat. Leave the bitcoins that you have left at start then let it grow again. Then let that happen for many years and that would be a great income.

That is right, save your profit in fiat, divide your bitcoin into two parts, the other part, convert it into fiat and the other part, invest it and again, divide the profit into two..one part for fiat and the other bitcoin..
