What is it with blackcoin people and this thread? Each time I see someone troll vrc, they have a blackcoin sig.
Where do all you dummies come from? blackcoin is dead.
Anyways, it's the investors that lose money that usually find the passion to troll another thread related to their competitor.

I have 20+ diffrent crypto...from BTC, Doge, ANC ,BC, PPC, NEM....Bitshares like many people here,
rollback hurted all crypto not just one coin.

If not VRC it will be next coin like XC Clokac Cinni Voot.... INSERT name here another hype coin.

The reason i write here is simple all crypto was damaged...
and all POS coins mostly suffers by that rollback

Mainly it was Mintpal problem but full responsibility is not on Mintpal side
1/3 of all coins were deposited in one place - that is orgin of problem.

WTF you guy are suggesting Rolling back the blockchain??

That is the single stupidest idea ever suggested on BTCtalk and that is saying something!

If mistakes were made and coins were stolen then deal with it and move on,even talking about trying to wind the clock back destroys any faith in the integrity of the devs and by extension the community members who support such an action.
Where does this OCD mentality lead to?
If there is a hostile but legal takeover of VERI would you condone the same action?
How about if someone deliberately instigates large scale bot dumping and drives the price down %10000 casing huge panic?

When the survival of the coin and protection of the investors is placed in front of basic responsibility and accountability then you lose something that can not be regained by the mere passage of time......

BTC - 1GJ2dWf8WBznTtkuuof3WTBXQAULaqVGYj LTC - LTyCKKCGHJQZwsh5YhyzGeee4womQwChUU DASH - Xp5pq62dgJxmbhawyNtWMKT9Rst8JgNCY7

Guys, my outside view of what happens with vericoin.
Hit the reset button after a accident will never bring fresh money into this market.
If i would be a veriholder i would be happy with the rollback.

So within the next days you will shift your community cash around and you will see a
steady decline until nothing. If there are good features inside this coin, devs will create a new one
and follow their shedule and their skills with a new project
I don' t know if devs are know persons or still anon.
If they are anon i would not hold only one veri whatever features it would have insinde.
On the other hand if they didn't rollback maybe mintpal has done and we had a new mtgox.
So devs have decided for crypto with their rollback and not for veri.

Thats nice, but they still could argue with "we did it for crypto" or maybe they did it simple for mint.
I watch what will happen and happy not being involved with this project. Crypto generally day by day seems to be a very bad market to be. Too much fud, scam and ugly people.

Why? when the tech allows for a roll-back which loses only $4k in transactions (which Mintpal will repay) when compared to losing $2million, then why not?

That's not OCD, that's common sense.

- Merchants can be aware because transaction can be reversed in some emergency situation so better not trust new alts and stick with BTC
which can take 500m $ loss  (it breaks some trust rule )

- Bad exchange has not been punishment ( normally it can lead to MtGox 2.0 and collapse... )

- Shows how easy is "manipulate" people in crypto devlopers, Exchanges.
Real truth can be unknown forever. Did MtGox write truth before they collapsed? ( they lied till end... CR lied till end... )
Here could have been even inside deal between Mintpal and VRC dev and you won't never know about it...

Good and valid reasons.

What about the thief? Would it motivate more hackers to do it if they can always get away with it? Would this defer people from investing in crypto?

Ya you're also an idiot, he wrote that this was an insider scam, and I said the same thing you just wrote me.

Mint was finished the minute they announced the theft, so why would they steal the coins. It's not a scam. The coins were stollen.

Thanks for simple explanation.

Fact is right now nobody knows.

It could have been a bankster/FED scheme using someone on the inside they had charges to blackmail them with.
All done to try to cause panic in the CC's.

Meanwhile banksters literally get away with Murder, Terrorist & Murderous Drug Lord Money Laundering,
Fomenting War on a Global Scale and collapsing the entire World Economy while raping and pillaging
entire Countries and peoples wealth.

It might be good to keep things into perspective.

The Hard Fork was CC's Extremely Effective Community Effort to Provide an FDIC type Insurance
AND there will be Innovations to come...
