Can somebody clarify to me when this forum turned to complete horse &@#*??! I can't remember the last time something actually useful was said about VRC.

IMHO the VRC team is missing out on a huge opportunity not adding any useful content to this thread. I understand they have their IRC channel and all that but they need to realize there is a massive community of crypto supporters that won't take the time to sit at the IRC screen all day and only use things like ANN pages to get their info.

Just my opinion - I'm sure someone will start bashing me for it now.

Or, perhaps, agreeing with you. When you search for Vericoin, or most other coins on the major search engines, the website, Reddit and the ANN forum are the major hits. Uninformed people who are just dipping their toes into crypto will go to one of these for info, most likely a discussion forum before or after the website.

I agree that more info needs to placed here and, more users need to stay professional and ignore the trolls and idiot members of the mutual admiration society that hang out here and in all forums. Don't take their bait, ignore them, that's the way to impress visitors...

eGifter and Gyft are both gift card dealers that have awesome Android and iPhone apps.  I used Gyft a lot more, I love the app, for little things like Steak n Shake, Burger King, etc.   Both sites/apps offer a lot of categories and a lot of places.  Recently though I have made the switch to eGfiter, as you can't beat 3% off AND 3% your next purchase (6% total basically) when you use Bitcoin.    Thus using Vericoin with Veribit, things are a win win win.   I highly suggest getting both apps, Gyft is much prettier and organized imo, but eGifter has a better deal right now, and also accepts Litecoin and Dogecoin.

I downloaded the new wallet and deleted all old follows in AppData besides wallet.dat.  Now when I open the new wallet on the intro screen it will not load past "Importing bootstrap blockchain data file."  Can someone help me out with this? Be sure to save old wallet.dat & put in safe place. Delete appdata folder of old version. Then remove program threw control pannel ( its a windows installer ). Then install new version, select to instal the bootstrap, and wait a while, will take about an hour or so , to fully load up. After its done, close & replace new wallet.dat with old wallet.dat in appdataroaming & restart.

The website should have been live on it's official domain BEFORE the conference today.
Verifiat should have been in wallets last week.
And now the new UI is delayed? I can't say I'm too pleased with how we are handling things or how we are progressing. Very underwhelmed with vericoin lately.


Today should have been full of pr and hardly a mouse fart of noise for vrc right now.

The roadmap may have been delayed by a few days due to the hack, understandably so. They highlighted this in the latest Google Hangouts shortly after the MP hack.
