My impression was the the logo change was endorsed by the community. Relying on that assumption I asked Bittrex to update our logo:

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I agree, and when I talk to Bittrex i will bring that up if it hasn't already been done.

I also just updated the OP.

Who has ideas for growing the size of the Aeon community? The development plans are exciting and more people should know about what is being done here!

Is there some special significance to that number? Why do you want to wait?

Does Aeon plan native integration I2P or Tor?

Is there an ETA for LMDB?

Maybe. We'll assess how the Monero I2P work is going and maybe consider doing something else with Tor. In the meantime Tor with the wrapper works.

Not a specific one at this time. Before releasing something I'm waiting for some upstream improvements and tuning. The first Monero version works great on systems with lots of RAM and SSD but has some performance issues on lower end hardware.

Waiting on LMDB makes sense if AEON wants to remain focused on retaining a small footprint suitable for lower end and mobile devices.

Can the AEON GUI come before LMDB or would that involve more work in the long run (having to modify the GUI for LMDB later)?

Great news everyone!  We were just awarded /r/aeon and will begin using it as our new Reddit home.

We have been using /r/aeoncoin but this is clearly preferable so we will begin the migration immediately and plan to be 100% housed there by March.  I hope you'll all stop by and visit us at our new Reddit home: www.reddit.com/r/aeon

Account is back under control of the real AmericanPegasus.

They are largely independent.

That is good to hear.  How is the GUI work going? Is it more or less work than you expected it to be?
