Are you sure that the orange isn't yellow something??
It's not yellow at all. Your display might be slightly broken mate

That's interesting. I don't know how anyone could think that's blue, I didn't know colours could be subjective . The color is #4f55a3, it's a shade of " Dark Slate Blue". The Green: #4bb458 and Orange: #f18626. Great colours in my view, very vibrant! p.s. please don't quote the large image every time. Not trying to perpetuate this, but I think the familiarity of the mardi gras color pallet might be causing our eyes to lean towards purple as is the case for me.

I think the logo design is nice, but who choose those colours? Green, Orange & Purple? That's a horrible colour combination in my opinion.
The logo could look really sharp with the right colours, but as is it doesn't look good or professional. Maybe you guys need help from someone with a better eye for aesthetics/design.
You have got to be kiddin me.

You have got to be kiddin me. This is a Facebook comment that I tend to agree with: Robert Todd much preferred the other logo the little yellow and green box and flat design NEM. This one looks like an Olympics logo or something, i.e tries too hard. . This is a constructive comment. I think someone in the field of design and branding would be more qualified than the developers when it comes to these choices. Or if you don't have a trusted designer available, at least make a community wide voting.

You have got to be kiddin me. The important matter is we have an official interim logo which is far better than all the fragmented versions we had before(thanks makoto). As makoto pointed out, we will eventually hire someone to create a complete style kit for NEM. However for the moment this good and we can move forward, because there are a lot of other things that need to be organized and done.

Hello
Is nice to see NEM stake value increase but I think this could also lead to another problem that the stake could become so expensive that other people will be reluctant to join. The question is what(how) can we do to increase NEM user base even more before the complete release of the coin and the NEM stake becomes to expensive (valuable)?!
a trusted member of the nem community could issue nem stakes on the AE divisible by 100 rather than 10. the stakes coming from the stakes to be auctioned or elsewhere. come distribution the devs distribute the stakes as they would to those who claimed plus the stakes to the trusted member who would then distribute the coins to those who claim the stakes that they bought off him. main distributor(who ever is in control of stakes) > ~10 stakes > sub distributor sells on AE(amounts down to .01 of a stake all set to sell at the market price set by the main market) > buyers, buyers(nxt payed for stakes) > sub distributor > main distibutor there is no extra work created for main devs/distributor, as it would be passed on to the sub distributor. every one with out enough to buy .1 on main market could buy on the mini market. thoughts? I think that would be a great idea! You could call it little NEM stake, to avoid confusion? Anyone can issue mini-tokens as long as he is credible. XCP anyone ? I know it's a lot of work, but in my opinion it should make patmast3r or one of the devs, as only they stand for NEM

Stake distribution and handling refunds, complaints and what not is a nightmare as it is. I don't want to bring even more complexity into it by adding another AE to the mix.

Dam! Ha CCMF.. What does it mean when NxT has a current 24h volume of $65K but NEM apparently has a volume around $45K? Does that mean NxT's real volume (independent from asset trading) is only $20K? NxT's volume couldn't be that low. . . Either there's some wonky math here or the damage from John / Joshua was worse than I thought. NXT has never had a really high volume (at least on CMC).

Any Idea how big the nis.h2.db will be??
I would like to run a server on a rasp pi, but I just have 32GB memory card.
From yesterday till now, it got from 5 to 7 MB of data.
Thanks
I've been running NIS on a pi for about a month. The initial sync takes a long time, but, after that, it is able to keep up without any issues.

I'm the designer who made the logo with green & yellow box & lots of other logo instances for NEM. I'm not used to visit here & push a comment. But since I get noticed by official logo post in NEM Coin FB fan page, I were really surprised with the official logo. It actually looks even worse than the one Makoto showed us couples of days ago. Actually, it's gonna break the professional image I did make up to NEM via my designs (Nem Landing Page, NCC, Investment Handout) recently . I don't know when was the vote, how it happened and lots of people here seem also don't know that as well.

When will NEM stakes be released?
Hey NEM stakes can be claimed for 2 weeks or so already if you're on the stakeholder list. I bought myself 0.5
