Could someone upload for us to download? Or if not, what is the next best thing? which distro? I want remote control from my phone and rock solid stability. I'll upload to MEGA, but this is just for "historical reference", there is zero warranty of any kind. You're on your own to read through the forum posts to glean whatever nugget of help you can find. I'll post the link when it's finished. Here is the BAMT Archive: https://mega.co.nz/#F!lEUjTRCL!dGkwuX0ULQcEkjFNcQuo9w There are three files in the archive, as far as I know the last supported version was bamt_v0.5c.rar, I would start there. bamt64_v05.rar was an 64-bit experiment, might be of some use for someone. b06_test02.rar was a beta of 0.6, but support and interest waned and it was never officially released IIRC. So it is what is, these are more for educational use. And remember, if you find use of this stuff do still donate to @lodcrappo as this was his project. Thanks very much man, you are awesome Can't wait to get started with this

I just want to let you guys know about "SMOS-LTCRabbit-Edition" USB stick mining operating system. I guess this is a new mod of BAMT. I tested it today and it works great out of the box with my 7950's. I made some small modifications in the cgminer.conf file to use it with WeMineLTC. Running in 2 min. For more information look here: https://ltcrabbit.com/index.php?page=osDownload here: http://download.ltcrabbit.com/SMOS-LTCRabbit-Edition-V1.zipHardware is supported Best choice: buy a AMD Radeon HD 7950 or HD 7970 or new R9 280x (our mining operating system will work out of the box with these cards) AMD Radeon HD Series 7800, 7700, 7300, 6900, 6800, 6700, 6600, 6550D, 6530D, 6500, 6410D, 6370D, 6310D, 6300, 6200, 5900, 5800, 5700, 5600, 5500, 5400 (find optimal settings for these cards here.) Not supported: AMD Radeon HD 7990, R9 270X, R9 290X (we are working hard to implement latest drivers to support these new GPUs)

Wow.. a hacked up version of "SMOS" which was just a hacked up version of BAMT that stole mining time from it's users. SMOS so lazy he had to name it with four letters so the search and replace on BAMT wouldn't break things. People were a bit too trusting to have ever used BAMT, but nice guy that I am, I didn't betray that trust despite a multitude of opportunities. If you trust some guy who took BAMT, did a search and replace to SMOS, and installed a cron job to steal mining time... You're crazy. If you trust somebody who then took that hack job and hacked it again? You loco grande con queso.

Installed Bamt 1.2, using 8GB USB stick, 2 x Sapphire r9 280x cards - booted up no problem, but no ethernet connections configured...added one via the right hand menu, nothing doing..set network conf manually to set static address, no results. I am missing something, anyone throw some light on it?..Maybe it's something simple I missed. The same machine was running xubuntu, cgminer etc from USB with no problems before..so not hardware related.. Does BAMT not install with dhcp to pick up a network connection?. And I did a quick check on drivers..I think 1.2 doesn't have the drivers needed for 280x cards, so I have to download them...but no good without ethernet... UPDATE: seems the mobo needs an update of the lan driver.. http://rumorscity.com/2013/12/14/bamt-why-gigabyte-intel-z87-chipset-could-not-connect-to-the-internet/will try that later and see if it works..

Hello To all. I just installed bamt in a new machine im making because im having problems with windows and not getting the corrent values for a R9 280x Vapor X.
Im a little of a noob using this so any help you can provide in the question I have , I will be thankfull
1 - Is possible to undervolt my graphic card ? What do I need to to ? (If I configurate that in the cgminer.conf file will work??? )
2 - I just need to configure the cgminer.conf file do I need to make changes in the pools.conf or in the bamt.conf file.
3 - If I configurate the pools.conf that will overlap the configuration of the pools on the CGminer.conf file ? Or how that works?
4 - My bamt is showing in Mhz can I change it to khz? or is not possible ?
5- How can I see the Cgminer window like in windows or this dont work like that in Bamt?
Ok at the moment is all that question I have I will keep exploring a little more.

I hear you, but the thing is that BAMT has never worked proper with my rigs, and SMOS/LTCRabbit works perfect on all 3 riggs. Cant understand why?

Must be just you. the original BAMT with cgminer updated to 3.7.2 works just peachy for me. I know others that it works for as well.

I had some trouble with BAMT 1.2 and 2x280x and the AMD beta so I just installed the latest AMD drivers 13.12 (not beta) with the other 2 packages (ADL_SDK_6.0.zip and AMD-APP-SDK-v2.9-lnx32.tgz), and it is all looking good much better. Still cannot get much above 550 khs, but that might be the logic board ... Gigabyte Z87..
