What exactly are you saying isn't in this vein? I find that most everything posted relates in some way to the future price of Monero--at the very least as to what will influence it. It's rare that Smooth has to get his red marker out.

About 100 players on CryptoKingdom.

I don't speak for anyone as a group, just noting that the sentiment seems to be that many are still in the process of accumulating XMR and they are also addicted to spending XMR in CK.

Just bought another chunk of XMR. I am nearly at a satisfying core position, with plenty invested into CK as well. I play that game daily, perhaps a few hours too many per day  Grin

It is so much more fun  to trade CK minted coins with friends than sit on a hoard of XMR. Makes this time we need to wait for the masses amazingly fun. Kudos to Risto and all the other players for making it the wonderful experience it is. However, the best is yet to come.

All this and I can keep invested in XMR for the coming rise at the same time!

It's good to have you aboard sphericon. You seem to be one of the keen 2nd gen investors fueling the recent price rises.

Thanks! It's been fun so far. I feel lucky to have found Monero at this price point, and I continue to purchase because I believe in the project goals as well as the people driving them.

Being able to buy Monero under $1 is like having a time machine that goes back to 2010.

Have you seen our Roadmap?  It's freaking awesome!

How is this for optimistic?  While I had poloniex open my cat walked across my keyboard and market bought some Monero Grin Cheesy Cool Huh Cool Shocked

A really optimistic cat would have placed a limit order.

The cool thing about Monero and other collectable items is that even the richest people cannot have it completely. Sure they can get asignificiant  part of the pie but they are not able to get at least completely all my coins unless I unleash them. Oh boy this aint be cheap though.  Grin

FUN FACT #3: If XMR were the first coin, it wouldn't matter if, when, or whether Satoshi spent his coins. (once MRL-004 issues are resolved)

Don't worry, my plan is to spend as many coins as possible with things I want before we even reach astronomical figures and I guess so is the case with other Monero holders, too. So the high price is very possible.
I think Risto's SSS plan is the model I am planning to use with the hoard. I am slowly slowly diversifying my coins but planning not to dump them at once ever. The higher it goes the less I will have coins for sale. On the other hand, I do not think I need even large sums of money. It is kind of headache to find places to invest with such a frugal guy as I am. I really do not enjoy much "luxury". Perhaps some charities I want to give (only causes I can relate though). It is a precious and priceless feeling when you give something like this. Believe me. It feels like you have some kind of favor on your being. It is strange but giving out money gives much more pleasure than taking it.  Huh Obviously not going to give to crooks and all kind of free riders though, but institutes such as Torah learning schools, etc.
As controversial as it sounds, giving out money do not make you a penny poorer.. Just look at Bill Gates or Warren Buffet who are big philantrophist but year after year their networth keeps growing.

its funny, I think the slope of the downward trend (whenever there is one) is always similar - my theory is that it relates to emissions. Some big miners must dump no matter what the price.

If anyones bored and has one of those price graph things, could you plot the downtrends and calculate the slope?

I've noticed also the bear market in Polo is usually 4-6 %.
It might be due to miners selling but on the other hand, the emission is getting smaller day by day so theoretically also the bear markets should be lower.
Also, notice that the volume in Poloniex alone is several multiples of the block rewards. This means there is additional selling/buying going on too.

If someone has more mathematical approach, I would like to read it, too.

Big volume for BBR today. I wonder how supernet will impact it. Besides xmr, bbr is the only cryptonote coin I follow.

Just lone wolf buying. BBR is pretty much dead, XMR survived. I am saying this and still holding few BBR for memory. There could still be some big spikes in the future as price is crazy low, but nothing sustainable, devs are gone.

devs are gone.

Devs are basically doing a slow motion version this (it was his last post ever)

Hey guys,

Long time no see. Smiley
Just wanted to let you know that I was on a prolonged vacation and now I'm back and ready for the development.

Stay tuned for features to come.

Cheers.

To his credit crypto_zoidberg was actually reasonably honest about not having time to work on BBR. More so than the blatant "development is still going" scams, while the developers are actually doing nothing but denying abandonment to prop the price up so they can cash out a few more coins.

are you gonna leave bbr project ?

I have to admit that last months i didn't have enought time for BBR development, it's true, but despite this BBR is my primary project. And that's one of the reasons why i've decided to openly announce that i do other project also - just because i want to be fair with people.
