Huh?
The bigger the hashrate the higher the diff, the shares per second are constant depending on number of connections. So with a higher hash rate, and thus a higher diff, does the chance of solving a block go down or remain the same? Sorry, I'm not following how all this works. And, strictly speaking, I believe a higher hash rate has the same chance to find a block as a lower hash, but it should find one more frequently. But maybe that's the same thing as a better chance...

Hi guys! Could someone tell me why it shows 0 hashrate on solo.ckpool while on the asic’s S9 dashboard everything is ok and the hashrate is 13.5???
{ "hashrate1m": "0", "hashrate5m": "0", "hashrate1hr": "246G", "hashrate1d": "5.98T", "hashrate7d": "1.26T", "lastshare": 1524812075, "workers": 2, "shares": 190000000, "bestshare": 216556399.9916186, "bestever": 216556399, "worker": [ { "workername": "16U5HDYhpW5ZxEX6MLofPCSh2tAumM932r", "hashrate1m": "0", "hashrate5m": "0", "hashrate1hr": "246G", "hashrate1d": "5.98T", "hashrate7d": "1.26T", "lastshare": 1524812075, "shares": 190000000, "bestshare": 216556399.9916186, "bestever": 216556399 } ] }
And one more question: I’ve got only one worker, And it shows "workers": 2, why?
Thanks beforehand!

Based on that, your S9 is no longer connected to the pool. It might've switched to a different pool, maybe due to a failover, internet blip, or something else. If you look at your S9's status page, what pool does it show that its connected to?

Thanks for reply! That’s the problem! I was on Solo.ckpool.org:3335 - which is dead at the moment. Now I’ve changed to 3333, which was dead yesterday:( So, now I’m back in the game!!! Thanx again. Appreciate your help!

Just remember that with a single S9.. You would have better odds of getting struck by lightning twice while getting eaten by a crocodile that is eating the lion that ate you after you just won the lottery. Good luck

Is it possible to mine to more than one BTC address? I think there are a lot of people who would like to try solomining here, but they can not afford paying the electricity while they get not paid for the hash immediatly. The idea would be to split the found block, for example on two addresses. First the miner producing the hash and a second somebody who pays the miner like 50% of the weekly estimated earnings/costs. So the miner can afford running it here. Would be a private arrangement with somebody but you can be sure that both get a part of the found block and none of them will keep the found block for themselves. I am just asking because you said you would not really recommend a rental service

I am just asking because you said you would not really recommend a rental service I'm almost certain no such service exists. You have to buy two miners and point one to solo mining and other to regular pool. One on the regular pool will pay the electricity for the both miners, easiest way to split the hashrate.

Yes this is a solution for a miner with two rigs. And even for a miner with one rig, because its possible to switch between pools. But its not a solution for somebody who wants to pay for hashrate Pay 50% of the hasrate and get 50% of the block if its found, that was the idea.

If the miner couldn't afford to mine solo with 100% reward, how could he afford 50%?

Harmless.
