All you need are the betting addresses. Send an amount to an address and wait for a return transaction. The only problem for you is knowing the betting addresses since you can't get on the site. One way of finding them is to look in the most popular address section of blockchain.info, https://blockchain.info/popular-addresses, most of the addresses are there (note that there are similar services like betcoin but there is doubt whether or not they are trustworthy).

I suggest you look up the addresses yourself so you don't have to trust me but here are the addresses I have for sdice:

Kat, on both the old and the new site the following is stated on the verification page/tab:

Quote
You can see all of this on the full details page for your transaction.
On the old site there were two ways to get there 1) by clicking on details in the recent bets list or 2) using the long-poll api on the advanced tab. The new site however doesn't have a details column and the link 'click here to lookup transactions' on the 'how to play - advanced tips' page goes to 'https://satoshidice.com/?stage=1#'. That link doesn't seem to do anything when i append a transaction id at the end of that link (Am I doing something wrong?)

Question ofcourse is how a player is supposed to get to the full details page? I myself have the old link (http://legacy.satoshidice.com/full.php?tx=) bookmarked, which still works, because I like to look up the lucky number of my bets and I don't have the time to watch the site for 20 minutes until my bet is shown/processed. Personally I would love it if a there was a field on the home page where you could input a transaction id and that would take you directly to the full details page, basically like looking up a transaction id on blockchain.info.

Also, before tribute was launched you could use 'https://satoshidice.com/lookup.php' to look up all bets made by one address but this link gives a 404 error. Love to have this back because it was especially usefull for looking up the lucky numbers if you made a lot of bets from the same address.

Good question GW - use this link to check any past transactions:
https://classic.satoshidice.com/lookup?stage=1

And I will get our site updated with the correct links too, thank you kindly for the update!

Dear Kat

Can you please update us on this outage! Very frustrating!

Also I have been playing for a long time and I have never witnessed such a dramatic high number run. It seemed to coincide with the outages?

Dear Kat

Can you please update us on this outage! Very frustrating!

THIS! It only takes 5 minutes to make a post here to let us know what's going on and this isn't the first time people have requested this. Alternatively put a news/announcement section on your site where you can place an update.

I myself placed 5 bets at 22:32/22:33 (for sd time subtract 1 hour) on feb 1st and returns came at 23:08, 23:45, 08:53 (feb 2nd), 09:14 (feb 2nd) and the fifth one hasn't even been processed yet  Angry. Very annoying!

Also I have been playing for a long time and I have never witnessed such a dramatic high number run. It seemed to coincide with the outages?
I noticed this too but it's probably just variance.

Hi everyone,

Yes, I can now confirm our servers are stalled and bets are obviously not being processed. We are addressing now - the good news is no data is lost, and we will process all bets in limbo the moment our servers come back online. Very sorry for the delays all around, we are working as fast as we can. Thank you for alerting us! More as soon as I have good news Smiley

Just received an answer via email about my stuck bet:

Quote
Hi there!

VERY sorry for the delay; our system is currently stalled in processing bets, but the team is working feverishly on it now. Bets normally only take a couple of minutes; this is not a normal delay, and it will be solved very soon. No data is lost, so your results will be processed as soon as we get things working again. Thank you very much for the patience and understanding!

Kat, Thanks for the reply but the outages seem to be happening much more frequently than before. Any idea whats causing them?

Great question regarding the cause of the delays; it's been a perfect storm between our DDoS protection and hosting server upgrades. We are thankfully getting this under control now!

OK, I've been trying to resolve this for DAYS now but no action has been taken.

I sent a bet on 1/28 that was never processed.  I read here there were delays so I waited a few days and still nothing.  I then emailed support and they confirmed they saw the issue and assured me it'd be taken care of.  Several days since that contact and five emails later and NOTHING.  They haven't returned my bet; it still shows unprocessed.  How hard is it to return the bet when you specifically say you see the problem!?

Hi there - your bet issue isn't due to the processing delays, but because it was below our minimum requirement. We process these in batches in order to prevent further Blockchain bloat, but your full refund will land shortly. Thanks for asking Smiley

Hey there! We are indeed battling with our hosting company to get everything back on track. They executed an upgrade recently that didn't exactly go well - working around the clock right now to get everything in order. I wish I had a solid ETA, but as soon as I have good news I will sound the alarm here. Thanks for asking!

Hello all,

We are still experiencing intermittent server issues - we've been back up for some hours processing bets per usual, but suffered another hiccup this morn. Stabilization is obviously on the menu, and we're on it. Thanks as always for the understanding Smiley

Not that I'm criticisizing your efforts, as the communication is appreciated by the community, but I have to wonder how an entity with the volume of cash you guys have, can't manage server stabilization?
