Kinda just a little bit of a nice speed.

Wat are you using?

the new IBM POWER8 CPU beast with 48GB RAM & 176 Threads!!  im going to run 4 of them and see what will happen  Grin

Not even 1k per thread seems rather bad. Sandy bridge processors can get nearly 10k per thread.

Got 2 blocks so far, have been mining for a little over 24h, 7 servers.

Diff is rather high for solo mining, i recommend we put up a bounty. I'll go first, 2GAP for the pool

Make no mistake about it, this is a GPU coin for AMD R9 and Nvidia Maxwell GPUs.

The algorithm used for this coin falls in the sweet spot as afar as GPU register usage is concerned for modular arithmetic implementation (512-bit or less). Also, sieving is much faster on these GPUs.

And it's only at the end of fall, that we discover it was naught but the wind that knew when one particular leaf was to fall from one particular tree, only to land in one distinct spot .. to be left for an eternity, and waste its time in a wait sublime. C0A2A1C4

According to the user Supercomputing, not yet. Currently it is CPU only, but it seems like that won't last forever. So maybe in a few weeks/months the 280x will fit when someone develops the software, but for now it's CPU only.

The miner is exactly the same, except for it now uses pool difficulty instead of network difficulty for shares.
