1002  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyBit took away my 0.05 BTC after wagering 70% req & banned me after on: November 23, 2020, 09:44:59 PM
Please answer this simply.

Do you believe that there is a cost of wagering 10 Bitcoin?

If yes, do you believe this cost to be roughly .176 Bitcoin?

If yes, do you believe that if a site offers you 0.05 Bitcoin back when you finish, that your hypothetical loss would now be .126 Bitcoin instead of .176 Bitcoin?

Please answer this:

Did you deposit?
If you did, when?
When did this happen and since when have you been wagering?
How long have you been a member of luckybit and how many times did you deposit there?
Did you read the terms and conditions before even entering the site?
What if you'd have completed the wagers before the terms were updated? What would have been the problem for luckybit to pay you those 0.05 BTC when they've been in the business since more than 5+ years and none of us ever complained about them?
Did you lose BTC0.176?
Didn't you gain any profits while playing there?

And the most important question, were you banned from playing OR chatting alone? If you're just banned from chatting, why are you trying to defame them when they still allow you to play there?

have you paid attention to the title of this topic? he seems to have already counted on the prize he has yet to win, 0.05BTC were already in his pocket, but LuckyBit stole it from him. shame on it.

LuckyBit took away my 0.05 BTC after wagering 70% req

Let me make something clear to you:
- Luckybit was giving away $20 for free in BTC to users.
- They had a condition that whoever wagers 10 BTC from that free $20 worth of BTC will get BTC0.05 more as an achievement and can withdraw after just doing 1x (I don't remember wager requirements for this 0.05 BTC but probably the one I mentioned).
- They have stated in their rules that they have the right to increase/reduce the prize money at any point of time, so it's probably not this user alone but may have happened to others too who simultaneously had joined this user in reaching the 10 BTC wagering requirement but are they complaining? That's why I said that it was free money and that BTC0.05 was going to come after this user (may) have met BTC10 wagering requirements fully.

I also didn't argue.  I asked questions that did not get answered.  They opted to ban me instead.

Quoted before he can delete this and will address it later.

I can only LMFAO and ROFL on your statement.
Yahoo is a member of luckybit and knows that site much better than anyone else on this forum and the site itself (except luckybit staff and admins) and you believe he'll delete his comment here? You're just inviting too much animosity for nothing but just a few bucks. It was free money you played with, so just move on man.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 23, 2020, 08:01:13 PM
I do watch Fear&Greed Index and yeah, when there's too much good happening in the markets, you also need to be prepared for some "blood on the streets" kinda scenario soon. People have greed in their souls but are also afraid of losing a ton of money invested during this point of time when BTC is too high and when something hangs high, chances of an extremely huge drop are immense. My talks may sound like I'm bearish on BTC but I'm not, these are the facts which can't be overlooked. A correction or at least a retracement is incoming.
1006  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyBit took away my 0.05 BTC after wagering 70% req & banned me after on: November 23, 2020, 07:39:46 PM
That is very sad to hear if it happened. I don't know if they have much affinity on the forum, but maybe they can explain this explanation?
I would also only play on trustworthy sites and at least sites that are licensed to begin with.

Don't tell me you don't know luckybit?

@OP, did you try to connect with them through the forum before shooting this here? I believe not. Anyways, they're available here daily, ask them to come over here to explain the situation and see what actually happened. If something comes as a possibility for you, you'll surely be entertained. And one more thing, yes it's in their control to decide and change the terms whenever and however they can "IF AND ONLY IF" it was written in their terms "which you accepted already" before playing there. You can't do anything if they had it written that they can change the conditions of the bonus to whatever and however they'd like because it is free money. I also know about the bonus you're talking about and very well aware of it.

I'm not taking anybody's side, not coming on any conclusions till luckybit comes here and put their part.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull on YFI? Think again. Alarming you! on: November 23, 2020, 06:47:49 PM
I think YFI will continue to fly because it just had a Doji reversal on D1.
Apart from the TA aspect I still see that YFI may soon return to its ATH. Major investment funds in the world are investing quite a lot in Defi projects and especially have just poured whales money for YFI. The current Trend Defi is not over and YFI still has enough reasons for further growth. Smiley

TBH, DeFi needs to be polished actually in order to remain in the game, else you already know about the hacks ongoing and how much "real money" of investors is locked and still vulnerable to huge losses, not through theft but "price hacks" - meaning dumps. I've a strong reason to say that it'll get down to that area and I never ever said that it can't create a new ATH, if it touches BTC1.1, may it reverse or may it continue the bearish trend, it'll totally depend upon the market sentiments. You know some secret? Markets like BTC have gone way too high so quick that there's a "pending correction" waiting for BTC, and once it shakes us out with a $1k-$2k move, do you believe DeFi will continue to rise? Have you ever seen any alts rising and "flying" like crazy when BTC falls?
1008  Economy / Economics / Do you believe support and resistance still work in crypto? on: November 23, 2020, 06:32:40 PM
I wanted to create a poll for this, but then I thought that I should rather ask for ideas as well as your opinion on this. I believe that we follow some areas we call as support and resistance and it works very well with forex and it did before with cryptocurrencies too. Now, I'd just like to know whether you actually draw those lines on your charts and believe that those areas are worth to be watched as well as turn out to be great support and resistance levels where markets can actually take a retracement or reversal, or you just don't think that they exist and the price either goes too much high when there's nothing ahead (I mean, while creating an ATH) and just shows a freefall when sellers simply dump it? I know it can be a case with some tokens which are useless with no volume, but my question is in regards to major cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, etc. which share the maximum volume available in the markets.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Bull on YFI? Think again. Alarming you! on: November 23, 2020, 04:53:54 PM
Those who've bought YFI at around BTC1.4 and are still waiting that it'd catch up that area soon, I'd like to tell them to simply short it instead of only having your coins in YFI being a bull because it has broken down a key support area at 1.31 and looks like it will get down at least 10-15%, so expect it to show a circus till it reaches BTC1.1 and enjoy. I hope we don't see a wick here which can probably take place if BTC reverts back upside with full strength and momentum.

Take my advice with a grain of salt, this is not a trading advice so DYOR and trade it at your risk.
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobless for 10 years still doing great because Jobs market is a joke on: November 23, 2020, 04:24:47 PM
another good thing about being self-employed is that you have a much better job security than an employed person because it is all in your control and it is a lot more predictable than being employed by a company for example that can fire you (for example for downsizing) or just go under. but i agree that it is harder and is not for everyone.

Exactly. My brother and his friend were working for a company since 2010, so it's almost a decade since they've been serving them. Now, after this Corona came, the company went on to trim the number of total workers in their company and there's literally nothing wrong in doing that. But both of them gave their 100% to the company and these 2 were the only ones to be working for that company for a decade, all others have changed in a period of time every few years and some even during months. The company even removed both of them and gave reason that as they've become too old members of the company, they need retirement. So the company is removing them, that's shit. Even I took it like freelancers are jobless but my meaning here is they're JOB-less as they don't really have a "job" that needs them to remain present everyday 9 to 5 as well as simply earn their living on their own conditions. Living on your own is something you can't really earn through a day-to-day job but an independent self-employed work.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 23, 2020, 03:51:39 PM
I believe they were eyeing on this since long time and as people are sitting at homes gambling and/or trading mostly in order to earn some profits and survive, the finance ministry must have researched and got the numbers from the gambling industry to be coming big enough than before and as they saw the surge, they probably decided to take on the gamblers by doing this. I don't know if it's going to do good to anyone else, but if I understand the spirit of a gambler correctly, s/he will definitely go to gain those extra %s which may look small but can be big in numbers when that gambler is a big bettor.
1012  Economy / Speculation / Re: who believes that the price of BTC high next month? on: November 23, 2020, 12:55:57 PM
Don't you think what you've read is just an on-paper thing and until it becomes a reality, it'll remain a speculation only? Well, even I can write you - BTC will be above $1 million the next month. So? Is it possible? It needs hell lots of volume in order to make BTC jump even a 100 bucks and whales are looking in a mood of stability which is why BTC has stopped under $19k. Yeah I believe we might see a new ATH next month but its growth should be healthy rather than quick spike and then popped.
1013  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobless for 10 years still doing great because Jobs market is a joke on: November 22, 2020, 11:58:20 PM
You forgot BTC.  Cool
And yeah, being jobless has been the best job one can have nowadays because that person can do what they want to do, whenever they want to do and in what volume do they want to do. Freelance is like a business without actually having one (like you can't really call it a business but working on your own conditions). There's not a lot you need to succeed in freelancing, patience and focus on your skills as well as polishing them time to time is what it takes to become the best freelancer ever. I respect you and your 10+ years and hope everything had been smooth for you and may always be the best for you.

I just offered the account to donate
Because they are not accepting new accounts now
I think someone wants to use the site
Just
But for me I don't have to worry about this account
It does not represent any risk to me

I appreciate that you want someone else to use your account, but they've clearly written there not to share your Unique player URL with anybody else. What if there's a catch like they only allow withdrawals on whitelisted BTC addresses and as they already know your IP, even after changing the password, the account holder will be allowed to withdraw? If not, then what about their deposit to the site "that will get stuck" due to all this?

And I believe this website had been too old enough and somewhat inactive which is why it's recommended to stay away.
1015  Economy / Gambling / Re: satoshimines game on: November 22, 2020, 10:01:24 PM
I only had a hard time withdrawing money
But it was resolved immediately

Wow, and so you want someone else to experience those "hard times" too? Eh?!?
You're confusing 2 things here, having a hard time first and then you just got it resolved quick. Interesting.

Quote
So I decided to give it away for free

Why are you even giving it away? Just leave the account as it is and don't go back there.

Quote
It is now I think it is not safe
Because it does not accept new players and this is a risk

And why do you think that someone else would take the risk?

If you're worried about the site, just ask them to close/delete your account instead if you don't want your details to remain there. And then, go to another reputed gambling website and look for minesweeper game, I'm sure there are still some websites which can give you the best experience for the same.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $10,170,000,000 was transferred over the Ethereum network in Q2 on: November 22, 2020, 09:49:23 PM
Looks like Eth is on a run and I believe that's just because all these DeFi networks that are pushing the price of Eth higher. I don't think there's any big reason for Eth to spike up except 2.0 which is under testing phase probably and will soon be released. There's too much money being put into DeFi smart contracts and I'm afraid that if anything bad happens (like what we saw with bzrx more than 3 times), Eth will also suffer.
1017  Economy / Speculation / Re: As we approach ATH what is different compared to 2017? on: November 22, 2020, 08:47:21 PM
The speed

Yeah, it took years for BTC to go from 0 to 20k and this time, it happened in just 3 years timespan.

Stability

While we talked about the speed, we also need to see how things went in through timings - various events happened which gave boost to the Bitcoin price rather than just making it look completely speculative as before. So stable growth has been seen this time.

Scalability

Umm, I know BTC is still trying to get much better resources in order to keep/cope up with the market's demands and let the things go smooth, and I'm a happy Bitcoiner at the moment (except when we see fees going high). It's not like old days when we need to wait days before our transactions got confirmed even after paying basic necessary fees (while fee spikes took place).

Adoption

The event of Corona has taught us all a lesson that we can't rely on fiat scam because it is scam money and we need to get something in which we can invest something/everything and still be rest assured that one day we'll have it a lot more times than what it used to be. I'm now seeing big names challenging each other and betting on Bitcoin to be the one and only global currency, while many analysts have also predicted 20-50x of the current price of BTC. And in between that, the level of massive institutional and average people's adoption of BTC has increased to enormous levels and once again, Google is being flooded with BTC searches more than anything (even porn).  Grin

Less followers

Well, don't get confused by the title, it's for the alts. Yeah, this rally isn't allowing shit coins to rise at any cost and they'll definitely not rise unless some bulls want to play with their money and make more money through innocent investors.

DeFi

Last but not the least, DeFi. This came and everything changed. I mean, even BTC is decentralized money man, who controls it? The one who has it but also hold the private key of that address. Okay, now about DeFi, I believe that the ego of BTC got hurt when it saw some DeFi named YFI partying hard with other DeFi friends (alts) and then BTC decided to show how it feels when BTC is on weed.  Roll Eyes <= Everything rolls like this. Wink
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 22, 2020, 07:14:01 PM
I party, and party hard with friends whenever I bet all in and win big. I mean, I've got a set amount of $20 a month (not so big, not even small at all) which I go all in into most bets and I only bet mostly in highly assured games which have higher possibility of winning and till now, 95% of them have been wins. I just withdraw quickly, pay for groceries, pay some bills and even party with friends because money is money in the end, so I believe it should be spread among everyone you love and not the friends alone. Wink
1019  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin is growing thanks to institutions. on: November 21, 2020, 11:36:39 PM
I believe it's not just the institutional money but the collective efforts of everybody who wanted to see BTC here. You, me and anyone who just believed and kept hodling is now sealing the deal with both hands in greens. I also believe that this will not remain the same for long term as those institutions also know how and where to take their profits? This will definitely bring in some correction (not a major one but possibly slow and an unnoticeable one) which is inevitable.
1020  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆⚽ Adkinsbet.com | Sports | In-Play | ESports | Racebook | Virtual Sports | ⚽🏆 on: November 21, 2020, 09:59:37 PM
I saw a few people complaining about the delay in the bet slip, watched it but it's like 10 seconds. only if you bet on a match that has not yet started, not live, it will go a lot faster. maybe they suffer from certain people trying to cheat with live cams, that wouldn't surprise me either. many articles have already been written about this. bookies really have to fight against that. there are so many competitions, it is difficult to monitor everything.

So you mean we (the ones who are complaining) tried to cheat the site? I mean it when I say that I waited that long, and I don't know what's the scene now as I haven't placed any bets since the last 2-3 days. Yes I do believe that they might have done it because of their 1 mbtc promo going on at that time and as there's no competition as of now, they are currently able to do things quickly.
