1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 24, 2017, 07:29:36 PM
So you're as bullish on XMR as always my G?

It is a long-term thesis.  Only a massive defect, practically irremediable, or a governance catastrophe, could shake my view at this point.

Speaking of which it would be nice to see trolling in the code base strangled in the crib by reviewers.

I would actually be worried if it was merged in the code.

So the code of monero has a bug or corruption? I only have a few monero but when I saw your message, I got depressed as a result. I was planning to buy more of them.

Your question is completely out of context, it's like asking if schmeckles can be traded for poop diarrhea

In the "donate to charity" browser mining scenario, as long as there's some simple choice as to WHAT charity the user's browser-mining will be allocated to, out of maybe a dozen or so to pick from, then honestly I don't see how there'd be any problem or controversy at all.

In this case, the website is just facilitating the user's resources (cpu power) being utilized to direct the charity donation to wherever the user has chosen.

That's still a net plus to the website (i.e. for making it possible).

Anyone who complains about the charity choices can be told "pick another one" (or just "don't use it at all) if they don't like the choices offered.

Why is this even an issue, what am I missing here? No controversy at all, really...

Because everything has to have a slice of drama, otherwise it's not hip nor in. Drama makes the world go round.

It's far easier to just edit the packet data on the fly than to mess with the executable anyway ;p
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 22, 2017, 11:46:32 PM
Name me one charity that would be a good idea to support officially with monero and I'll do my best to say why it's a bad idea.

I like you, lets be friends.

Monero is not so annonymous as many people think

This. And it looks like there will be LOTS of upcoming competition in the very near future for Monero. Let's see how long it can survive with it's dated, kludgy tech, lack of true anonymity, and terribly enormous fees.

Show me proof of concept that the anonymity of monero can be compromised and I'll buy any shitcoin you tell me and kiss your ass.

Aren't you the same schmeckle that said "btc is dead, use bch the new boss"? If so your input is not worth 1 shit let alone 2 shits.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PLAYKEY: DECENTRALIZED CLOUD GAMING PLATFORM on: September 22, 2017, 04:02:49 PM
Next week Playkey attends WORLD BLOCKCHAIN FORUM, taking place on September 25 & 26 at the Oval Space in London.
Only 6 hottest ICOs 🔥🔥🔥 of this fall will be announced there! And one of them is Playkey! See you there! https://london.keynote.ae/

It seems to me you spend 99% of your time attending award ceremonies and forums rather than developing this quite questionable platform for which you can't answer even the most basic questions.

It seems to me your comment is a bit sarcastic. Otherwise please take into consideration that not the whole team, attend the awards.
Though these kinds of raising interest is good for investors, too.

Disclaimer: no, I do not get paid from Playkey for being positiv.

So you're just stupid then?

As long as you really ae Gary the asshole, feel free to call me whatever suits you well...

It was only a question, geesh ain't you touchy.

I fail to understand how anyone can't see past this charade of marketing fluff, this is not going anywhere, no amount of "awards" and ceremonies can change that. Only public code available for scrutiny will.

I think Onion will replace bcc and btc, you can buy now while it is early phase cause in 2018 will be big!  Wink

Can I buy DeepOnion with american dollars? No? Fuck off.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: September 22, 2017, 03:42:25 PM
I really don't understand why you people insist that Bitcoin Cash is a better solution than Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash is a baby conceived by a spoiled egocentric kid aka Roger Ver to spread his gospel like the Jesus wanna be that he is.

Well if you preach something like a spoiled egocentric kid, the sheeple will follow.

I'm not saying there's a private ETH miner, but there is a private ETH miner.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: September 22, 2017, 03:13:03 PM
BTC will overcome and overpower BCH eventually

That would be beating a dead horse, there is nothing to overcome nor overpower.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: September 22, 2017, 02:01:30 PM
Theres telling on how will bitcoin will manage to go up or down these days. We never know just what might be bitcoin values next it could be anything best time to wait is next possible year  wait for the lowest price and invest as fast as you can about a minimum of about $3200 it is sure to make progress  even though of that issue on china though it is slowly recovering

What analysis have you done that the bottom will be $3200? Or purely speaking out of your ass?

This feature was merged in our github a day ago and will be available in the next release.  It will enable what you say, and a few other interesting things.

Хочется пожелать тебе неугасающего энтузиазма и удачи.) Вошла я в GBYTE не вовремя, выходить уже тоже смысла нет. Так что остается ждать нашего общего процветания))

Good luck!

Спасибо!

Thank you
i agree with you but can suggest a coin for this
i have another rig consists of 3 RX 580 + 2 RX 570 all minig etherum and i cannot attach R7 265 with them cause it's 2Giga and cannot mine etherum
is it more profitable to attach it with them and mine monero than stay the same and mine etherum as it

Try https://whattomine.com/coins/168-hush-equihash
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 on: September 22, 2017, 12:05:29 PM
Thank you
i will buy if i get some money but
until i buy can i profit from this gpu

You can but probably not with mining monero, the difficulty is through the roof and you'll never get the same profits as you did before. It's hard being the little guy, your best bet is to catch some new coins early and mine them at low diff and hope they'll go to moon once they're listed on an exchange, mining well established coins isn't going to be profitable for you at all, too many people have too many gpus.

There was a block mined several minutes ago, the site is estimating a 3hr block find time currently. Maybe a large miner suddenly stopped pointing his hashrate at the pool. You can see this drop on the hashrate graph on the site.

Perhaps consider removing the fee, sure 0.5% is nothing but people are greedy petty assholes and would rather not pay you that if given the choice, once you have some stable hashrate and people are comfortable there make an announcement that the fee is back, most wont even notice Wink

Just my 2 satoshies.
