1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: July 29, 2023, 12:35:12 PM
...Have you tried the NFT Copilot bot?..

Using such bots will make sense if you are going to pump hundreds of wallets to get an airdrop from LayerZero. In the event that you have several wallets, it will not be difficult to interact with the blockchain manually. And besides, you don't have to spend money to buy this bot.

Thanks for your response - it's duly appreciated although I was asking if anyone has actually tried out the bot to interact with layerzero supported chains. I haven't used any bots to make those interactions, just asking incase someone has first hand experience using it so I can make an informed decision. At the end of the day, these are all tools.

I stumbled on a posts were the Layerzero CEO gave his opinion about sybil accounts participating and proceeded to say that he isn't bothered about it.

It's not really because Bryan Pellegrino isn't bothered by it, it's because they don't really have a choice.  These things will always get gamed, so their move is either go on with the airdrop, look the other way and say they're not bothered with it or cancel the airdrop and do something like what SUI did.  The latter would def be frowned on by the community.  Esp the ones who already done their fair share of sweat equity in using the protocol.  Lol.

I for one want to see an airdrop happen and hope that I got in.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 29, 2023, 12:20:38 PM
But don't forget the Ngannou early finishes market tho.  Have a feeling he'll touch Fury's chin at R1.

The odds would probably be like x100 if he manages to KO Fury in round one. We know he is a KO machine, but that's too much to expect because Fury is not a careless boxer, and he also knows how to stand up when knocked down. Well, we can never know; this is boxing, and Ngannou has the power to KO an opponent, so it's worth taking the risk if you are going to bet.

The odds would be x100?  If that were really the case then point me a bookie where they offer Ngannou to win via KO at R1 with those odds.  Grin  That would def be a sweet deal and a super +EV bet.  And if ever there was such a line, I don't think it would last more than a few hours before the sharps start putting some money in and cause the line to move...

Seriously tho, Ngannou has a puncher's chance.  More so at the early rounds.  But after around R3, he'll start to fade and Fury will take over and win.  So a live bet for Fury is prolly the best way to go about this.  Hopefully Ngannou makes it competitive at the first couple of rounds or even get a KD.
I agree with you.
I am sure first two rounds will be good for Ngannou, unless he runs like a bull without thinking and lands on fury fist  Wink
He sure has power and he could create some damage to Fury, but that can only happen if Fury doesnt take him seriously at all.
Whatever happens in this fight they will both come out as winners with multi million dollars earned, but maybe we could earn something along the way.

Yup and here's the thing, if Ngannou makes it a bit more competitive after a couple of rounds, check the live odds.  If you could get Fury at the decent price, like around 1.50 or better or even 1.30 or better, that's an auto bet imho.  And for big money as that's almost a 100% win for a discounted line.  Ngannou will prolly just have around 5 to 6 rounds of boxing in him before he gasses out.

And yeah...  Ngannou should be happy with the money he's getting.  I hope he's so happy that he'll go for a one match contract with the UFC to fight Jon Jones.  We the fans deserve to see it.  Grin

But don't forget the Ngannou early finishes market tho.  Have a feeling he'll touch Fury's chin at R1.

Francis would no doubt fight Jones but it's out of his hands now. He's contracted to the Pfl and there's no way Dana would do a cross promotion. Best we can hope for is for Francis to quickly run his contract down by blitzing everyone in the pfl then hope Dana will put his ego aside and do the one off mega fight or even re-sign him. I think Jones has 7 fights left on his contract so it will be a long time before he ever gets out of that. The ufc hasn't even got 7 heavyweights I'd like to see either. I suspect Jones will make easy work of Stipe.

Mmm..  If Jones would beat all comers at the UFC HW division, he's prolly be open to a cross promotion match up like the UFC almost did with Amanda Nunes vs PFL's women's 145 champ Kayla Harrison.  But Nunes ended up losing that match vs Pena so the match up with Harrison was scrapped.  But yeah...  Could happen if the timing and possible reward from such an event are right.

But if not, I'm fine seeing Pavlovich fight Jones then Aspinall.  I think Aspinall will be the future of UFC HW.  Overall great guy, good fighter and smart.

Anyway, if I hit my degen parlay for UFC 291 and I encounter some problems getting my loot out of the site.  This thread will be the first to know.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Well thats a very degen bet and I though it would be atleast 100k in profit if it hit but guess the odds was not high enough Tongue. Well joking aside, pretty sure that Rollbit has enough to cover all this, they even have few millions lock in RLB liquidity so yeah. Anyway, I hope you will actually hit this and win all those

Heck yeah, I think they also possess few high rank Rollbots and Sportsbot if they evern want to sell those to cover up player's withdrawal LOL Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It's a long shot.  And I never expect any of my degen parlays in the UFC to hit.  Most of them are made with left over coins from my other losing bets.  Lol.  But hey...  A guy can dream right?  I could hit one of them one day, who knows...

And never in my mind that I think Rollbit will have problems in cashing out my withdrawal if ever win a degen parlay.  They're an upstanding sports betting and gambling site in the community and would never cheat their own users out of their own money.  I don't care what other people say.  I know a legit site when I see one.

I lean Blachowicz at first glance but after seeing him facing off with Pereira, I change my mind.  Pereira is a big dude who could KO Blachowicz at the first round imo.

Looks like it. Izzy must have pissed his pants every time Alex faceoff with him. He's just glad it's over now and avenge himself.
Alex may actually KO Jan. He had been training with Teixeira who already fought with Jan.

Spreading my funds to fighters that might just win like Poirier, Michel Pereira, Holland and Bonfim.

Lololol!  Nice gif.  It would be exactly how I'd be doing it.  Cheesy  And Lewis has abs!  Who would've thunk?!  Grin

As for Bonfim, I watched his last couple of matches and Giles'.  He should win and he's the pick but I don't think he deserves the price tag of being a huge favorite.  We'll see...

Meh...  I don't really care.  But for me, other than seeing McGregor and Nate Diaz in a match of boxing, I don't really care what they do outside of sports.  Like football and F1, it's all about making picks and making some bets for shits and giggles every weekend and getting drunk with a bunch of friends.

Ready to get wasted during UFC 291 ? I have a challenge for you and your friends - sip what ever you are drinking during whole event, but if the fight finishes early, empty your glass Cheesy We did something like that during IIHF every time any of teams score. So not to make this post off-topic, I think the fights Poirier vs Gaethje, Blachowicz vs Pereira, Fergusson vs Green and Lewis vs de Lima not going to run full distance Cheesy

And Ferguson vs Green could go the distance imho.

It's very safe.  And no, they don't have any withdrawal problems unless you did some shenannigans though or in the site.  But if you're just a regular guy trying to have some fun and gamble a little then Rollbit would def be happy to accomodate you and accept your action.

Does that mean that he has no opportunity to start in pole position even if he wins qualifying today?

^  If the 5 place grid penalty is confirmed then clearly he won't.  Lol.  But I don't think it will really change anything tho.  Red Bull has the fastest car on the grid and it'll prolly be racing for pole position by the 20th lap or so.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Everything about the gear box move is already calculated.

Let's see how the books adjust their lines tho.  If it's anything like 1.60 or better for Verstappen to win, better bet it! We won't have good lines for race winner for a long looong time til 2026.

Green is actually a good striker.  His legs are vulnerable vs leg kicks tho.  Something which Ferguson maaaybe could take advantage of.  But dunno...  When I think of Ferguson I remember the metal pipe he was practicing his leg kicks on.  Lolol.  All in all just enjoy the match and avoid it as far as betting goes.  The event has 11 other match ups to put some action on.  :/

I am really surprised to see so many people voting for Francis Ngannou to win in this pool, it is 16-14 for Tyson Fury right now, much better odds than with bookmakers.
Question for all this guys who think Ngannou will win in this fight is are they ready place some money to back this up Wink
I dont know where Ngannou is now but his last statement is that Fury is underestimating his boxing skills.
Meanwhile Tyson Fury is now in Phuket, Thailand preparing for this fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDgA5a4_XMQ

True, many of us here chose Ngannou to win, despite him not being a boxing champion. Fury is the most popular in the heavyweight division now, and since they are boxing, it's more likely that Fury will win. As far as I remember, I have not seen a boxing champion lose to a UFC fighter in a match. Even Mayweather, who has already retired and only participates in exhibition fights, still wins because it's boxing.

You have give an example of a retired boxer vs other fighter in exhibition fight, but their fight is different. In fact, Ngannou fighting base is boxing. He has starting martial arts with boxing, so he isnt a pure UFC fighter.

I am amazed how many people choose Ngannou to win this fight. Wonder what they based on when them make such prediction. His UFC knockout highlights ? Cheesy Weird that people dont understand how different boxing and mma is. In boxing a fighter can jab his opponent to death and would be a great fight. In mma, a fighter does this, he would either be finished by submission or booo'ed by crowd. The fact that Fury does not have a huge collection of knockouts, he is way better than Ngannou.

Lolol they prolly symphatize for him for how badly he was treated by Dana White and the UFC.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  There could also be more secret MMA fans here at BCT than we think and they're quietly voting for our guy Ngannou...  Cheesy

Spa, one of the most mighty circuits on the F1, i hope we can see another winner and not the same as always Max Verstappen.

One thing we need to notice, its a few weeks ago in Spa one young driver died again for a crash. I think he was for F3 or some minor categorie like that, really sad.

So i hope we can have a  race with safety.

Yeah, Spa is one of the most dangerous tracks in F1 even though a lot of people think Imola is the most dangerous, there are people who say Spa is more dangerous than Imola.  I think Imola only got its reputation as the 'most notorious' track because it's where Arton Senna crashed and died, RIP.

And imho, just from optics alone I think the most dangerous might be the street circuit at Azerbaijan. Lol.

Anyway, does anybody have some good value bets for the next race?  I'm all ears...  All I see is Stroll points finish at 1.95 and Alonso top 6 finish at 1.91.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 27, 2023, 12:27:59 PM
Tottenham have started to think about with whom they can replace Kane. Because the chairman Levy has been given an ultimatum to sell Kane this summer. Therefore he will leave one way or another seemingly. Bayern Munich is likely to be his new team for now. But after selling him I wonder who they will bring into his place. I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't make do with only Richarlison. He is of course a skilled striker but he shouldn't be the only option in the squad in the end.

Maybe Tottenham can also put Vlahovic on the agenda according to the latest speculations. The door is about to be closed for Vlahovic after August 4. They had better act faster about Kane now.
Please can you tell me who gave Levy the ultimatum to sell Harry Kane. I have not followed up the transfer window recently. Is it the UEFA that did it or which body?
If Harry kane eventually leaves Tottenham, it will be fine that Totenham shouldn't go for an exceptional striker to replace him because it might not work well. They should look for a good striker to help or partner with Richarlison to do the job. This is the right time for Totenham to depend more on the team capacity more than individual capabilities.
It will be nice if Kane will finally leave Tottenham.

I believe it is the Tottenham owner who actually ordered to sell Harry Kane. Because it is almost clear to everyone that this is probably not going to work. I mean Tottenham trying to keep Harry Kane is probably not going to be the best idea. If he even plays for Tottenham, he is not going to be very happy while doing so. That might actually compromise his performance for Tottenham. That’s why I believe Joe Lewis has given this order. I think it is actually going to be best for both parties. I believe Bayern Munich is going to be the next destination of Harry Kane.

Regards

Duke

^  I'm hearing Harry Kane could either go to Man United or Bayern Munich.  But between the two, I'd rather see him go to Man United and watch him play in the EPL every weekend.  And it would make for an interesting match up in the Manchester derby.  City has Haaland, United has Kane.  Wink

And if only Poch could acquire Kane for Chelsea.  They already worked together at Tottenham and the partnership here could bear good fruit.  As a fan, I wouldn't mind seeing that happen.

And here's the thing, they're gonna fight in high elevation in Salt Lake City.  Gaethje trains in Colorado so he prolly has the cardio advantage in this one.

Altitude of 1,300m is probably not high enough to make a significant difference, but good point, it might be a slight advantage to Gaethje.

I looked it up and it says endurance performance starts going down by 2% - 4% at above 1000m.  It's not much but for the guys who have bad cardio, it could be more.

As far as the layer 0 goes. The project seems taking a lot of traction lately. Plus there are rumors of the confirmed airdrop since the founder confirmed via twitter that in order to be not in sybil the value of bridge value to their project stargate and most likely to others should be more than $ 100 or at least $455.

Well thats an expensive figure and not for all. But since they arent confirming any info about it yet. The speculations remain mysterious.

For everyone doing or interacting with layerzero found this useful tool or checkin to see your transaction and volume and even ranking on the layerzero race.

https://nftcopilot.com/layer-zero-rank-check

Ooo nice.  Can you post the exact source of where Bryan Pellegrino said that bridge value through Stargate should be at least 455 USD?  I think I have made way more than 1k USD in bridge transactions overall...  And that's on the lower side.

I also played around Radiant and Rage Trade.

And is there an NFT that needs to be minted in order to have your wallet marked for the airdrop?  Kinda like Arbitrum's Odyssey NFTs.  I haven't been paying attention much with these airdrops as of late.  I like doing them at the start but then I get bored and stop.  Lol.  The Arbitrum airdrop was different as I had fun goofing around the network without expectations of an airdrop.

Yup and why would Chelsea sell him for just for 8m GBP in the first place if the club's doctors didn't see anything wrong with him?  I mean I get it, Chelsea needs to dispose around half of their over manned team asap but I don't think they'd sell somebody who's prolly worth, let's say, 20m for just 8m.  :/

Here's match day 1...

https://www.flashscore.com/football/england/premier-league/fixtures/

First match of the season, the master vs the learner.  Grin  Guardiola vs Kompany.  Rooting for Burnley on this one.  They had a great season in the Championship.  Hope to see them survive their first season in back the EPL.

@tokeweed first and foremost they want to raise money for other signings and secondly keeping a player who’s not going to be used makes no sense hence Chelsea are trying to sell him. Also you really expect Burnley to defeat Manchester City then you’ll be surely disappointed because I sincerely doubt that City will lose that to their first game of the season.

I'm just saying, if Ziyech is totally healthy and could still give the same performances as he did when he first came in to Chelsea then the club wouldn't have priced him at such a low discount.  It would be bad piece of business.  But since he prolly has a nagging injury and 'maybe' less than what the player he was...  Hence the low price tag.  That's all I'm saying.

And nope, never said I expect Burnley to win vs Man City at the season opener.  I said I'm rooting for them.  :/

I thought the £8 million offer made by the Saudi Pro League team for Ziyech was far too low because even mediocre players going to that league are being sold for millions of USD$ more than they are worth. Chelsea paid £33.3 million just three years ago to buy him now they face a substantial loss.

The club doesn't care about the transfer fees; we just want him off our payroll at this point since he has an attitude problem and is one of the snakes left in our locker room. According to the medical report, he has a baby kneel, and the club decided to reduce his proposed salary by 40%, which he declined. We're trapped with him at this point, and the club is considering terminating his contract.

Wups...  Prolly another reason for the low price tag.  Poch is cleaning the house.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

^  MMA math doesn't really work.  We can't say for sure that just because fighter A won in this fashion against fighter B and fighter C didn't really impress against fighter D so therefore fighter A will def win if he fought fighter C
I know, but I wasn't talking only about outcomes of those fights, but more of how well each fighter was prepared, his mentality etc. And in my opinion Poirier looked really sharp in his last fight, while Gaethje seemed to lost his flare a little bit. Maybe I got this impression from his post fight conference when he said something about "countless reasons to not go longer than you should in this sport" which hinted that he might be slowly thinking about retirement. And frankly, with his fighting style and the amount of hard punches that he absorbed, he probably should be picking his next fights carefully and focus his health.

I'm on the opposite side.  Poirier has already made enough money to retire after those couple of matches vs McGregor.  Gaethje on the other hand is still hungry.  Between the both of them, I think Gaethje needs this win more than Poirier does.  Dunno...  But that's just me.

But skill vs skill, Poirier has the slight edge for sure.

Who do you guys got?  Poirier or Gaethje?

Poirier. 100%. He did not disappoint in the fight against Chandler, while Gaethje had a hard time against Fiziev and I think his will is not as strong as it was.

^  MMA math doesn't really work.  We can't say for sure that just because fighter A won in this fashion against fighter B and fighter C didn't really impress against fighter D so therefore fighter A will def win if he fought fighter C...  And here's the thing, they're gonna fight in high elevation in Salt Lake City.  Gaethje trains in Colorado so he prolly has the cardio advantage in this one.

Here are a couple of free replays.  Both against Chandler.  Lol.  Poor guy.
