Yes it can. But it is not sure it will. Seems like even with bad press it does not stay under 400$ much time anymore. That baseline will probably be higher and higher, and then some positive event can make go to the 800 mark. It is possible I think.

Right, I also expect it recovers the 450 $ value again, and I am holding. In fact, I bought some of them higher than it is now, so I need to recover that also lol.
And then again, a down, then an up probably.

Too bad for cryptsy users. I hope they can recover some loses. But the list includes xapo? I have been using xapo normally as of today, so I understand it is not dead yet. Will go check, just in case ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Good design, pay, and fast to use. Although the claim ammount is a bit high, I understand that helps with paying a high ammount per hour (high cashouts make some people drop before reaching the cashout ammount and allows for more payment for the ones that actually reach it).

I agree that 2mb block would silence lots of criticism and probably would be good for community and all that. However, I think that Bitcoin is still working pretty well for now. Just wait a little longer and see what happens. I doubt core would harm bitcoin on purpose, too much at stake for developers.

My all time high has been around 150k a day, but faucets pay much lower now, and many are harder to fill up/claim. Nowadays I think I am getting about 15k-20k from faucets daily . Not worth it really, but sometimes you are just bored and without ideas and that is better than just wasting time lol.

Yes the rate has gone down to 100 satoshis, but still would be good if the 120% per referral holds. At least for people who has the ability to sum up referals fast. That is not my case, but someone is likely to appreciate it ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Cheers.

300 satoshis every 5 minutes is a very nice amount for that frequency. Plus the claim buttons and all are not hidden, so it is a good faucet.
The check balance link shows more adds and that is ok (a little extra revenue for the site). Good.

Good effort to provide a software like this. The main problem with faucets is that they tend to stop working or change, and a rotator that allows easy elimination and addition is a great tool.
Thanks for this.

Even if it is a bullshit article, it will definitely have an effect on price and sales ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) bad for Bitcoin in any case, although it will most likely survive. I am counting on that.

Price seems a little down today, but going down to 320$ would be really hard. I do not expect that to happen, although it is indeed possible. But big raises are also possible aren't they? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

It is not a threat to Bitcoin as it all remains the same. If bandwith is limited by ISPs it is because there is still not enough bandwith, and neither is that much bandwith needed for bitcoin transactions yet. When bandwith increases more, there will be no need to have it limited, and bitcoin will not have problems either.
That is what I think at least.

First faucet on the rotator is a game, second faucet needs registering. Third faucet (which only has a 100 satoshi claim ammount) freezes after claiming...
I think you should review all that. I know it is really hard to maintain an updated faucet list, but users won't use your rotator with these issues.

It is true that with Bitcoin, money really "moves" in the sense that when it changes hands everybody in the network is allowed to know about it. With fiat there is no registry that money is moving at all, only in the private databases of institutions. Very good point indeed.

Does anyone remember when the New Year "mines" were supposed to payout? I should have took a screen shot, but I was assuming the site was going to go belly up before the payouts of those mines. I had a suspicion that the site was going to go "down" before those payouts were made. Too many sales back to back for the site seemed like a money grab.
Had not seen it that way, but you are totally right. With those mines having such a high payout it was just like saying "ey, probably I will run away with the money because I will not be able to repay it". Good point, I will keep an eye open from now on for things like that.

I think you are quite right. There are several games and faucet-like sites that offer relatively high rewards, but require hours o dedication a day to even have a chance to get those rewards, which ends up in not really being worth the time.
|

Well, perhaps the high supply is what makes it a little different than the rest. Fact is it is one of the coins with more capitalization, which means a lot of money into it and a lower probability to die.

Kraken seems good in this case (although never really used it). As others say, it has leverage and even conditioned orders (if this buy fills, then activate this other order for example). Bitfinex is said to has lots of trading volume, which is good too.
It is best to have more than one exchange too, I think.

It is true that you can buy some things with bitcoin in some stores and all. But mainly Bitcoin has come to be an investment/stock, similar to gold some say. I am quite happy with the possibility of earning it in the internet by simple means (banners, faucets, posting, doing small tasks and works) internationally and without so much government control, and also about speculating with it. I would love it would become a widely used currency and be able to pay everywhere with it... But would not be angry if it remained as it is now (used by some, with the ability to be transferred and earned through internet).
What do you think?

The hack story may be or not be true but... What has that to do with cryptsy closing and leaving a lot of people without their funds? I mean, The hack/theft of sometime ago cannot be used as an excuse to leave people without their money now. If you are stolen is you (the owner of the exchange) who has to accept the loses as it is you (and not the end user) who got stolen.
