1121  Economy / Auctions / Re: ZigGap Debt on: April 18, 2013, 01:28:11 AM
I wouldn't pay 0.01 for it.  I've been following the Ziggap situation for about three weeks now and the lack of info relayed to shareholders total silence is pretty indicative.  No explanation of the dividend structure, no financial statements, and no website.  It would seem to the casual observer that Ziggap is no longer a business.

Aethero, if you're reading this, you've gotta realize that you need to communicate with your shareholders.  Like at least on a weekly basis.  If you don't, I'm sorry but its really starting to look like you ran a scam, man...and the longer you stay silent, the harder its going to be to refinance those loans...
I don't personally think he ran a scam from the start, but I think the fact that the BTC price rose a LOT really makes paying back the loan impossible for him Sad

To stay with the theme: Aethero, if you're reading this, you've gotta realize that you can't disappear like this.  People have invested THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars in ZigGap.  And, also, from what I've remember, the contracts with Bitcoiners aren't the only things you need to worry about when you disappear.  When I stopped working for you, you were in the process of negotiating with payment processors.  I guarantee you that those people wrote something in their contracts that you can't just disappear for 2 weeks.
1122  Economy / Auctions / Re: ZigGap Debt on: April 17, 2013, 04:07:47 PM
You should start at 0.01 BTC
For a 3 BTC debt?  I'd rather just hold onto it.
1123  Economy / Auctions / ZigGap Debt on: April 17, 2013, 03:15:44 AM
ZigGap currently owes me 3.015201 BTC, and I would rather not have the risk of this debt.

In the interest of full disclosure, here's everything I know:
  • I don't think ZigGap hasn't been paying dividends
  • The last ZigGap loan payment was late, before he came on and paid it (and then disappeared again, for 12 days and counting)
  • The ZigGap owner, aethero, hasn't been very stable (he would often go on rants saying how I'm pretending to be my age and that people are terrorizing him; see copumpkin's rating on OTC)
  • ZigGap has been down for over a week, and is therefore not making profits.  Aethero quit his day job to start ZigGap, so I don't know how he's going to pay back the loan without the site making profits
  • The price of BTC has went up exponentially since he took out the loan

Bidding will start at 2.1 BTC, and you can buy the debt now for 2.6 BTC at https://btcjam.com/notes.

Once the debt is sold, I will either:
  • Forward all payments to a Bitcoin address that you provide
  • Ask BTCJam to send the loan to your account, if possible
1124  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ziggap Bitcoin Sales Service on: April 17, 2013, 03:04:54 AM
1-2 weeks since the 3... so 10-17 April. Guess we're at the end of it without news. Would be sad to see Ziggap go.
He also hasn't paid dividends from what I've seen.

He owes me money on BTCJam Sad

DD if you have places to go, then send blockbet his winnings. I have 4 1/2 hours left and will need the price to go down 50% to win.

If something really strange happens and I win, then I hope that blockbet would settle up with me. But the chance of that is so small that I don't mind if you pay out now.

Thanks again.

Blockbet - congratulations. I'll get you next time!    Grin
You're great!  I'll send him his winnings now, then.

Congratulations blockbet!  Transaction ID: 3efc5f5adfa4b7b7a1749baaa0d887f30edd050297cc8665262215337cec7b34

Looks like the real crash is taking longer to happen than I first thought. It's not looking good for my bet. Hehehe.

I think Gox was down ~2 hours. So we'll officially conclude at midnight Eastern time.

You can use the same address that I sent to you if the price suddenly tanks. I'll have limited Internet access this weekend, but I'll catch up with everything on Monday.

Since I'm almost certain I'm going to lose: Congratulations blockbet, and thanks DD for handling escrow.
Hey,
Would you mind if I send the 3 BTC to blockbet.net now, so I don't have to send it to him at 4 AM tomorrow?  Cheesy

If you don't feel comfortable with that, it's perfectly fine (and I'll send it to him tomorrow), but I'd figure it can't hurt to ask.  Smiley
1127  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Filled] PROP BET: Bitcoin crashes harder when Mt Gox reopens on: April 12, 2013, 08:59:19 PM
On my escrow address, it says I sent 1.5 btc to someone.  It was actually only some of my personal BTC, but it sent it from that address instead of the one with my personal BTC.  I still have the full 3 Bitcoins.

We can add two hours to the clock, so I'd suggest to end it at 04 UTC. I'm quite certain that at this point, it won't drop below $57 (apart from a few minor transactions), during the weekend, and hopefully never.

If I win and there are no issues, you can send it to 1NPR4t6saVWuJMt9UmaGk5DLfTsqoMFazc. Feel free to take 0.1 BTC as a thank you for helping us out, so send 2.9 BTC any time you're free to do so, no hurry.
So 12 PM EST.  Thanks Cheesy
1129  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Filled] PROP BET: Bitcoin crashes harder when Mt Gox reopens on: April 12, 2013, 07:44:41 PM
Alright, one problem: I'm going out of town tomorrow.  I can wake up early and finish the escrow transaction, but I need both of your Bitcoin addresses now in case you're not here tomorrow morning.

Please either post them here or PM me with them.
1130  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Filled] PROP BET: Bitcoin crashes harder when Mt Gox reopens on: April 12, 2013, 07:15:40 PM
I'm not sure, but I posted my message soon after I saw it back online. I suppose total downtime was maybe 1-2 hours.
Ok.  What time do you want to end the clock?  Is 12 tonight good?  IveBeenBtc: If you can confirm this when he says it, that would be cool.

BTW, I'm not going to be awake then, so I'll check it first thing in the morning.
1131  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Filled] PROP BET: Bitcoin crashes harder when Mt Gox reopens on: April 12, 2013, 07:02:43 PM
MtGox is back up. We can add a few more hours to the clock if that's okay, I'm quite confident that it won't go below the minimum.
Just so I can make sure to do this correctly, what time, exactly, did it go back up?
1132  Economy / Gambling / Re: PROP BET: Bitcoin crashes harder when Mt Gox reopens on: April 11, 2013, 11:27:47 PM

Mine sent. Thanks danieldaniel for the help!
I got both of them!  I will be looking at the aforementioned chart at 7:25 tomorrow!
1135  Economy / Gambling / Re: PROP BET: Bitcoin crashes harder when Mt Gox reopens on: April 11, 2013, 11:18:58 PM
I'm fine with that. Either way, it probably won't be that close.
Ok.  IveBeenBit, is what I said OK with you?

Yes, do it. Waiting on escrow address.

I could do the escrow-ing if you can't find anyone else.

You can see my ratings here: http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=danieldaniel&sign=ANY&type=RECV.  They're all positive except for two negatives from scammers.

You're honest enough. Do you understand the terms? The sticking point with Dooglus was/is the oddball trade that goes through that's way out of line with the rest of the trades happening at the time.

If the answer to that is "yes" and blockbet.net agrees, then we're on.
Ok.  Just to be clear, would the following work:
Look at http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#rg1zigHourlyztgSzm1g10zm2g25zv (24 Hour chart with hourly points).  If it goes under $57 for at least 4 points (4 hours), you win.  Otherwise, blockbet.net wins.

That good for you?  If so, my answer is "yes".
1138  Economy / Gambling / Re: PROP BET: Bitcoin crashes harder when Mt Gox reopens on: April 11, 2013, 10:57:02 PM
I'd take that bet. How do you want to handle it?

[edit] Sorry for the double.

[edit2] I haven't heard anything, I guess the bet's off.

I'm waiting to get Dooglus's agreement. He seemed to have a problem with the terms. I'm not sure if my explanation will satisfy him or not.

In case he doesn't come back...does anyone else think they're qualified to judge/escrow?

Hmm... Could I do $20 paypal USD for that?  I could convert it to BTC if you want, but it might take a few hours for me to pay you.

So, $20 in BTC.  Would that work for you?  If so, I'd like for there to be a GPG signed contract with those terms.  We'll post them in this thread.

Bet must be denominated in Bitcoin. Nobody knows what $20 in BTC is. Do you have any bitcoins to bet? If you don't want to do the full BTC1.5, post anyways and maybe someone will take up the slack.
Uhhh... $20 in BTC is exactly what it says it is.  $20 in BTC at the time I pay you.  So, 20/MTGOXLast
