1141  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: October 13, 2021, 07:41:32 PM
Spreadsheet for round 146 has been updated. Spreadsheet has been handled over to lightlord for payment.

A total of 10 rounds is now been owed and that have to be address before continuing campaign. Information reaching me is that, lightlord is sick which is the reason behind his absence on the forum. Since I can't guarantee participants of been rewarded for other rounds, campaign has been paused until further notice.

Immediately previous 10 rounds payment has been process and campaign is to continue, you all will be informed. You don't have to worry about your slots as all current spots will be retain unless there's other development.

Ps: I'm also been owed for 10 weeks so I understand the frustration but lets all exercise patience, hopefully after lightlord recovers from his illness he'll address this issue.

Once again, campaign is currently paused until further notice.

Regards,
Brainboss Management Service.

We know that you are doing everything you can.
And I think lightlord will be around here soon.

Also I have a suggestion. I know this is BTC payment campaign. And with this way it can be very expensive. So, they can distribute the payment with another network as BTC. For example BSC has Binance pegged BTC or SOL has BTC in its network again.

A standard BEP-20 transaction is not that much cheaper than using BTC and can even be more expensive depending if the mempool is empty. I don't know if you can do pay-to-many transactions on BSC but paying dozens of campaign participants multiple weeks individually would eliminate any benefit of using this blockchain.
1142  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think Lightlord behavior is acceptable? on: October 10, 2021, 11:29:07 PM
Chronology and actual situation for now possible: @CryptopreneurBrainboss, knows better, what happened to: @Lightlord, all this time, I think at least @Lightlord told @CBs, where, and how he is now, the reason is simple for now @CBs, trusted for @Lightlord campaign.

Payment issues, 1-4 weeks, in lump sum payout, maybe I don't know much about that and also the campaigns: BITVEST and 777Coin, I've never been a participant, My response, the factor that causes payments up to two months at a time, is because weekly payments are too low in BTC for participants, can't be sent, high fees, higher shipping costs than income, maybe.

In my opinion, you should ask @CBs directly, the real situation, of course my talk doesn't touch on the neutral left by: @The Pharmacist, that's another story, he knows better to turn negative to neutral.

I would actually prefer payments to be sent in a lump sum but that is not the case. Every few weeks they send separate payments for each week that was due. When I first started in the campaign I was earning like 5k sats or less per week and would spend a lot in fees to consolidate those dust amounts. The mempool was more congested back then so at 1 sat/byte fee sometimes it would never confirm and had to make the fee higher.
1143  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors Spent Millions on 'Evolved Apes' NFTs. Then They Got Scammed on: October 10, 2021, 06:35:39 AM
The artwork doesn't even look very good. This was just a lazy copycat project that ripped off the more popular ape-themed NFTs. Unfortunately, these kinds of scams will give ammunition to people like Elizabeth Warren who are looking for any excuse to attack crypto.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 10, 2021, 04:53:27 AM
This was an incredibly epic battle we witnessed. Wilder came out stronger and more motivated than the previous fights. He made the right adjustments to be more competitive and it seemed like he might get a knockout after dropping Fury twice. I believe it was the size and weight difference that was Fury's key to victory. All that holding and leaning on Wilder drained his energy and took away his punching power. I was impressed with the amount of damage Wilder was able to absorb and I think he is still good enough to beat the next best fighters in the division.

If you don't bother, and sorry if I'm being nosy, but could you share the results from these spins once you decide to use them all at once? That would be a nice public experiment.

Definitely this! It would be interesting to see the results of 100+ consecutive WoF spins. I know it is not a representative sample for any analysis, but I am still hoping to see that data somewhere.

I have done this several times and these were the results I got:

I have gotten some balanced results except for the third time where I got less than 3,000 satoshis.

He has always been late, which is why people have been patient about him so far. However this time it has been way too long and it doesn't make any sense at all. Just because he has been inactive back in the day and then still paid people and created that trust, doesn't mean that we should be giving him the benefit of the doubt anymore. Let's call it what it is, right now this is becoming sort of like a scam. He could easily put all of his payments into some savings account (staking or masternodes or whatever) and make profit from it for 10 weeks and then pay, even if he pays, that is still end up becoming a very shady business model.

This is a scam for sure, just not the typical scam where casinos take your money and run away with it, I am sure lightlord will not steal your money, that is not what this is, he will pay, however he will pay 10 weeks later and that is still a smaller scale tiny scam IMO.

I applied on the other campaign for now while wearing their campaign I still trust the team and hoping that we all get paid, I read the news that the reason why Lighlord is absent on this forum for 10 days already is because he is sick and that will take time for him, he doesn't deserve a tag or put the campaign as a scam, he is been paying bounty hunters for over 3 years a donator of this forum and a supporter of this forum by buying ads space.

It's a little strange that he got sick around the time payments were due. Most people don't get sick to the point where they can't take 1 minute to make a public statement to reassure us that everything will get sorted out. Bitvest is still operational and handling payments. Maybe the site can run without him for the most part but from what I understand he is responsible for the hot wallet having funds.

Whatever the reason may be for his absence, if this campaign does continue I hope they will come up with a solution to avoid this type of problem.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in the tokens of the Solana ecosystem on: October 08, 2021, 02:36:00 AM
I have not heard of any of these tokens but they look like generic DeFi tokens. Right now the DeFi trend has passed and I am not seeing crazy ROI like the previous year. Solana itself has been doing well and maybe this is enough to carry these tokens higher but on their own it will be hard to find a gem among these coins.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it Good time to invest in ETC ?? on: October 08, 2021, 12:08:45 AM
I used to hold Ethereum Classic and I watched most of it's value disappear. It has almost no development happening and many who were part of it's community in it's early days have abandoned it. Now we only see occasional pumps when Ethereum is doing well and ETC gets some attention from having 'Ethereum' in it's name. I do not have much hope for this coin. Better Ethereum alternatives that came much later have already surpassed it.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why NFTs projects are not making wave-like ICOs on: October 07, 2021, 11:19:34 PM
The NFT market is really small. Only a few whales make up the majority of the volume. The thing that gives some NFTs really high values is their scarcity. Even without significant demand you just need one person to want it enough to pay thousands or even millions of dollars. Now that there is so many new NFT projects being launched all the time the market has become saturated and that is why some NFT collections are not selling very well.

This is going to be fun watching Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder Main Event Press Conference, and I am sure Fury will try to get under Wilder skin and make him nervous, who is mentally very unstable and immature:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-b3hO_Hw1s

Wilder did seem annoyed and agitated by Fury's trash talk. He does not seem confident at all. This is not the same fighter who once said he wanted a body on his record. Losing in such a devastating manner has changed his personality. If the aggression is not there prior to the fight it makes me question his frame of mind and if he is mentally prepared for the challenge ahead of him.

The IBF has made their ruling and declared Triller in default. Matchroom, who had the second highest bid, has confirmed they will be promoting this fight.

Do not use "busy" as a reason for delayed withdrawal, that's an unacceptable reason in the first place.
The fact is, delayed payment happened multiple times already and when delayed is happened then it took too long time (weeks).
Even if it is true that lightlord is so busy IRL, he should act professionally.
When he knows that he is going to be busy for a specific period of time, he should have someone as a back up to manage his business in order to serve the players.

Speak for yourself, I don't mind the delay plus their paying a lot of participants, can't expect someone to be able to make those transactions every week, I mean wouldn't it be better if it was delayed in pay so it will be sent in one go, and they've made it a bi-monthly payment already so there it is, the excuse plus if they delay it again, there's going to be bonus pay.

As far as I am aware of this is the longest delay we have ever had. You can't just say "don't worry, he always pays" when there is no precedent for more than 9 weeks without payment. For all we know Bitvest could be shut down at any moment and we will never receive another satoshi again. Receiving a bonus is of little consolation since there was a week I was marked inactive despite having enough posts. The bonus would only make up for my unpaid week.
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 06, 2021, 02:43:06 AM
Maybe the fight is premature as far as Wilder is concerned, he should be in the right frame of mind before he enters the ring again especially against a dangerous opponent as Fury.

I definitely agree. Wilder shouldn't have jumped right into a rematch when he was clearly devastated by his one and only defeat. It wasn't just physical loss for Wilder. It was obviously emotionally traumatic for him. He should have fought a preparatory fight or two to gauge his well-being. After a convincing victory, only then should he think of facing his trauma once more.

Right now, Wilder has clearly not yet gone past his cheating stories of loaded gloves, spiked drinks, etc. It's just 3 days now before their fight will take place and yet Wilder is still speaking of excuses to his loss. The man is clearly not ready. Fury will have a much easier opponent this time.

In a heavyweight fight anything can happen. As long as he doesn't hold back, like Joshua did against Usyk, then Wilder still has a puncher's chance. Wilder is one dimensional so if he doesn't fight like the KO machine he's been his whole career then he will not make it past the early rounds.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: October 06, 2021, 02:09:53 AM
Almost every altcoin I currently hold or have recently held has gone down against bitcoin. Alts depend too much on bitcoin's price so diversifying into different cryptos isn't guaranteed to give you better returns. If you want to truly diversify then invest into stocks or real estate.

I just joined this campaign. I didn't know the bounty payments were bimonthly.
Has that always been the case? I didn't see that in the bounty announcement.

The payment periods used to be much shorter but they gradually kept making them longer. The previous period was 8 weeks and that was the longest I have waited until now. It was since the last payment that they said we should expect payments bimonthly. Reasonably we can define bimonthly as either 8 weeks, August 4 - October 4, or 60 days. All of those periods have passed so it is only right to receive some status update at this point.
1157  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is listed on CoinGecko|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|🐒 ApeSwap partnership on: October 05, 2021, 03:28:48 AM

Price drop is normal on crypto so investors should get used to it since market is so volatile, but if they didn't do something like creating another ideas to market their token well we can say that this is unsustainable.

No doubt, if they will not do things that will help their coin to gain more interest this kind of fall may affect investors mindset,

the team needs to work on it, though price fluctuations should be expected but the team behind need also to monitor.

But one thing could hype this up is the exchange listing on binance although we know listing their is hard but if the dev have guts to do it for sure nothing is impossible on it.

Listing to Binance as what many expect will create good impact, the hype is very possible once the team managed to list

this coin inside this exchange..

BFG might pump for a while if it gets listed on Binance but then it will go back to being dumped. 99% of altcoins are not safe long term investments. Their is only 1 very specific use case for this token but besides that there will not be enough demand to sustain a price increase. We've seen this with other gambling tokens and with yield farming tokens where the price is in a constant downward spiral unless they get carried by BTC or there is short term hype.

I think you're not completely right. TheQuin can correct me if I'm wrong, but once he said that that they deleted lot of inactive accounts to clean up database a bit. And inactive means that they haven't made any activity on website like faucet claim or wager and don't have any ballance.

Ah, I stand corrected.

Btw Quin, are BTCs from these accounts consolidated into the site's wallets (i.e. they don't fully belong to the user)? Would be a shame if they are irretrievable.

Deleted accounts wouldn't have any BTC to consolidate because they were never active beyond just signing up. They only registered and abandoned those accounts while their balance remained at zero.
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of an iPhone in Bitcoin at their launch over the years. on: October 05, 2021, 02:50:58 AM
This is an interesting chart and it can be applied to many things. There are things I purchased in the past where I spent a considerable amount of bitcoin which if I had hodled I would have a lot more money now. I do sometimes feel conflicted about spending my BTC because of this but I always justify it by spending it on things I truly find necessary.

It's been 9 weeks and no action from @lightlord. He said that there will be payments in bimonthly periods, but this is a bit annoying as we know that he is not punctual.

It has been 61 days since the last payment was sent. Two full months have passed so I would expect payments to be sent this week if they are being true to that bimonthly schedule but as we have seen in the past we can never be too sure.
