Dybala is really a game changer for Roma together with Lukaku. But I think Dybala is more valuable for Mourinho at this point. Because his general performance and contribution with assists/goals are really impressive this season. He couldn't play in all of the games due to problems like injury but still made a really good impact on the games he played. Sure, dybala and lukaku were always giving very big impact to the club. As roma is now coming back again to compete with some clubs like acmilan. As roma is now being placed at the top 5 which was amazing. I remember the time when roma was struggling to win even a single game. That's crazy how the come of lukaku was able changing the club so fast. This guy is a very great striker as long as he will be in the right club. His old club was so stupid to leg him go out from there. Real Madrid have officially closed the previous game week as the leader in the standings. Girona's performance wasn't good enough against Athletic Bilbao honestly. I mean of course they had many goal attempts but only 2 of them were on target. They should be grateful for one of them to end up with a goal as well. I even believe Athletic Bilbao deserved a win here as they were much more accurate and closer to scoring more goals. Girona still maintain a great streak though. They haven't been losing for many weeks in the first place. Besides they have lost only once which was against Real Madrid. This is wonderful for a team like Girona just as I said before. PSG have a good opportunity ahead to not only have revenge on Newcastle but also to consolidate their position to make it to last 16. Because this time the game is in Parc des Princes. However I don't feel like Napoli are going to let their most important player go just like that in the middle of the season. Instead as far as I know they are doing their best to extend his contract as it ends in the summer of 2025. But if they can't convince him for a contract extension even next summer then they could think of letting him go in the summer. I don't even think Napoli see Victor Oshime as them number one important player. They'll tell you how Khivicha Kvaratskhelia is more important than Victor Oshime and I'll just read and laugh. Such bullshit can only be believed by those who do not watch most of Napoli's games. Arsenal had a really serious difficulty in beating Brentford indeed even though this win carried them to the top of the standings.  There was a goal of Trossard called offside by VAR. After that it felt like they were never going to score. Because in the second half the game was balanced compared to the first half. I would have never expected Havertz to save the team honestly.  Because he has been quite inadequate in effort since he came here. It has been a long time since he scored his first goal at Arsenal as well. There are 5 points between the team right above the relegation zone and Lyon at the moment. Lyon have a missing game though but even that is against Marseille away. How many points could Lyon get in that game you think? I think it would be zero. The way they are playing just isn't credible at all unfortunately.

There is a great game between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid next time. There is no home concept for Barcelona temporarily as Camp Nou is under construction. Therefore this could be a good thing for Atletico Madrid maybe. However their job is still going to be really difficult as it isn't the first game Barcelona are playing in Estadio Olimpico. Currently I think Atletico Madrid are playing slightly better than them. It is really slightly because I didn't like Atletico Madrid very much against Mallorca for example. They dominated the game and had so many goal attempts maybe. But they were still horrible with finding the target. I won't be surprised if Atletico Madrid get one point at worst. |

There is a quite interesting game next week which is between Leverkusen and Dortmund. Leverkusen are the hosting team and they are quite the favourite @1.67 as well. Rodrygo is on fire these days! After a 5-star performance by 2 goals and 2 assists against Valencia he got on the stage again today. This time he scored 2 goals and made an assist as well. These statistics in only two league games must have impressed Ancelotti a lot. Rodrygo is definitely keeping his place instead of Joselu for a while. Joselu played beside him today anyway though. However Vinicius Junior was injured so this was an opportunity for him. But I can't say I'm very impressed by the game the team play generally. I have no idea how Real Madrid managed to score 3 goals with a 0.77 xG. |

It has been a really poor performance by Juventus so far. I'm even surprised with how they are still not behind Inter by playing poorly. I didn't expect to see them like this after that big start to the season. I thought we started to have the old Juventus back but they are playing really badly against Inter now. They were much better in the first half.
But Juventus don't have even a single goal attempt in the whole second half while we are in the final moments of the game. There are goals by Vlahovic and Martinez and it is still 1-1. It was important for Vlahovic to make progress in one of the most important games of the season for Juventus. Because there has been a serious level of drop in his performance recently.

Romelu Lukaku is in an amazing form man, agreed. But he has been much more impressive when it comes to Euro 2024 qualifiers. He scored 14 goals in 8 games which is insane. I can't say that he is bad in the Serie A either as his number of goals scored is 6 in 10 games. But in the recent league games his rating was quite low.
Maybe this could be an opportunity for Lukaku to make improvement in his average rating at the same time. He has a really good chemistry with the Serie A so he should continue to show this more consistently.

It was a really bad day for Barcelona today. They played horrible in the first half which cost them really a lot. There was some sign of recovery in the second half though. But I must admit that their performance was still poor and not convincing. If they were more accurate with their shots on target then they could have surely won the game as well.
Because Vallecano were like they weren't playing in the second half. They were just focused on getting at least one point and they got the thing they wanted too. Even Barcelona's goal was an own goal scored by a Vallecano defender. As Atletico Madrid have just won against Mallorca they have even got ahead of Barcelona in the standings despite playing one less number of games.
