1181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How diverse is your crypto portfolio? on: December 27, 2023, 10:26:43 PM
Hi guys!
Just wanted to know how many cryptocurrencies you're invested in? And with what percentage of your portfolio (No need to mention the amounts involved, if you don't want to). Just want to get a general sense of how everyone's diversifying their crypto assets.
Why is it that I feel that this is like an invading privacy question?  Grin
Well, I'll just say that I've got most with Bitcoin and a few altcoins that I'd definitely going to make money as well but willing to sacrifice them in the times that when I can sell it anytime in profit. Unlike with Bitcoin, I'm more careful before selling it because when it's come to buying back. Sometimes we just cant' buy back when we have already spent the money that we've earned from it so, that's decision wise matter for me.
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Launchpool, a possible earning opportunity? on: December 27, 2023, 09:56:28 PM
I have tried but definitely the reward that you'll get there will also depend on how much you staked on their pool. Of course that's the condition that must be met and I think that it's just good extra money at all because I am not willing to take risk with it leaving huge funds on them. But if the status of the person will do that is just like you and willing to put much money on it that you won't be needing anymore and actually just extra money, it's a fine other source since most of us are aware about keeping funds in exchanges and having no keys.
Isn't that logical? The more money you stake, the higher the reward. Although with Launchpool, you're unaware of details such as APY and the price of the token because that's usually listed some time after it's over, the logic of standard staking still applies. Even though I understand your point, even I keep my Bitcoin off exchanges, not only because I'd have zero actual control over them but also because Binance has all our personal details, and I'd rather not acknowledge to them how much I'm earning. With that being said, I don't find it a huge threat nor a taxation issue to hold a few thousand on Binance; it's transactioning billions of dollars worth of cryptocurrency; thus, I find your argument a little exaggerated.

NFPrompt's trading will open in the next few minutes, and we'll see if it was ultimately worth it this time as well.

Edit: Just sold my NFP coins, wasn't too keen on holding them, made a $60 quick profit in a week, with minimal risk and less than $5.000 in capital. I'd say it's not too shabby.
That's sweet quick profits for you. The important thing here is you can bear the risk and is totally fine leaving that couple of thousand on Binance. Whether you are aware or not with the keys matter, the important matter to you is you understand all of these and you're making a money from it. Just like what happened to you, that's one advantage of having a larger fund being on that launched pool and it happens not that usually but more chances to repeat.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: World coin, distinguishing humans from AI online while preserving privacy on: December 27, 2023, 09:37:33 PM
This is the one asks for the users iris for the airdrop right? There's something wrong with these projects that looks at the projects like this and are hopeful that something big might come out of it. Literally a project that's going to conquer the world because of how it is asking people's iris scan and then will give some pennies. That's a plunder that we can see happening as if it's legal and that's so much conquering in the sense of taking over our privacies since it's the only project I've seen asked for that.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post Your Favorite Altcoin Post of 2023! on: December 27, 2023, 11:46:27 AM
Welcome back and happy holidays too, tk808!

I can't think of a thread that I was interested in but I guess, since Binance was on the hot seat for this entire year. Maybe this one has helped me: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure
How did it help me? It helped me in terms of being encouraged that I should be reminded when I am likely to invest again in these NFTs. Despite that, I've got experience already investing in NFTs it's just hard to not look at it. But when there are some offers like this, I sometimes forget that I should be done with these NFTs whether it's from a very known person and exchange that endorses it, this means trust no one and stay only to the trusted cryptos in the market. And it's possible that many other forum members have been helped also with these news that don't be gullible at most times just because these projects have got names.
1185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 26, 2023, 11:38:02 PM
Like what they say that the beginning is the hardest. And when someone who's starting to trade and sees it hard to trade, you're not wrong. Trading is hard whether you're starting as a newbie or someone who's experienced. When you hear experienced traders saying that it's hard, it literally is hard. And that's why many don't survive as many are just losing instead of winning in trading so, if you get caught by your emotion and understands the risk, you can revert that into investing.

1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When (if Tenable) is The Right Time to Share Your Bitcoin Private Keys? on: December 26, 2023, 09:49:02 PM
There were too many discussions about this topic a long time ago and will continue to be discussed as long as someone opens it. Well this time, I have already planned it and I've left some hints to my family just in case I'll be leaving this world all of a sudden. But just as we, people change and I might change that plan if ever something I've found that I don't like based on their actions and behavior towards me.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: December 26, 2023, 09:10:05 PM
That is why it is necessary to understand when to buy, not their fault as some persons who used the DCA strategy to purchase at the $67k price will certainly get enough profit when the price hits an ATH. Those who understood the halving circle and did not buy at that price waiting for the DIP and bought very low will get massive profit from their investment. It is of good benefit to understand how the market flows before venturing into it
Those that have bought at the peak always have two options, either to give up and sell at losses or be patient and wait for another ATH to come higher than the price they've bought example for Bitcoin. These recovery periods will take time and they need to remember that if it's something like Bitcoin, there's no need for them to worry with it because it is usually comes handy when it has dumped but then recovery will definitely come no matter what happens.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: P2E crypto - which ones are good and worth it? on: December 26, 2023, 08:31:06 PM
After years of the popularity of P2E tokens and games, if people are still into it. They're not for the earning feature of it but for the passion of the game and it's rare to see people that will love the game itself and will just put earning as second if it's based on a play to earn environment.
Many of these popular games have fallen and it's hard to get back on shape when they're able to reach the top and then fall of a sudden due to bear market and other reasons.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlockSafu - legit or scam? on: December 26, 2023, 07:57:45 PM
I've got a quick peek on their service and I think for most projects, the services they offer for an audit is too cheap. Maybe that's why this project you've mentioned managed to get into an audit through them because they are affordable so, that's not surprising that many projects are going to do such audits for them to give their investors that confidence that they're audited at least but with that company, I haven't heard them about or maybe soon who knows if they'll be one of the known names, we don't know.
There's only evidence proven by these projects, they tend to offer favorable terms and conditions for its users but most of them do later change and upgrade their sites to become more complex. We don't know how the space operates and never to become too sure of the projects that's on our radar, we just have to sit back and watch these projects grow to become either a formidable project or pure scam. Who can easily predicts scam and legits projects among these numerous projects in the market? These projects are not properly managed or check into because there's a whole lot that's happening and disturbing the whole process.
We may not know how actually the space operates in terms of these and these projects know that this could add some more credit to them and valuable overview for them when some potential investors look at what they're offering. But then, these audits can be done with the reputable ones and have more experience in the scene. I am not belittling whoever they're hiring to do their audits but investors nowadays are also looking the background of these companies they hire that are doing it for them.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana - Is it still good to buy or it's FOMO on: December 26, 2023, 07:28:45 PM
I have already decided not to buy it and every time that I see it pump more, I am not regretting my decision not to buy it. Even if it gets higher and higher, I'll just be happy with those people that have bought it at the bottom of it and managed to hold it until now.
$120 was seen for it this day and it looks unstoppable, if you ever hold Solana at the start of this year at $9-$12, your each SOL already has a profit made like $100+. That's a lot of gains already and how much more to those that have been holding hundreds to thousands of it. Very fortunate guys.
definitely too late for getting in anyway so there's no regret, but interacting with the smart contracts inside solana still prove to be quite the bountiful rewards to be honest there are so many coins in solana getting airdropped these days that I think they are really good for those that probably missed the solana rally and tries to compensate with finding other way to profit, recently jito was a thing now its jupiter thats gonna be giving out rewards.
moreover we can be very well investing in other altcoin that serves same purpose as solana anyway, recently matic is increasing, injective is increasing as well as some other altcoin out there like immutableX it is also having some good rally, even SEI.
no need to be so fixated on solana there are plenty coin out there that are just as good to be honest.
but the potential might not be as big as solana since solana is the most popular coin nowadays everyone trying to get that share of rally.
No regret, yeah. I still see people that are thinking of entering on its market and buying it as soon as it go low. Now that there's a flash correction, I still don't think that it's time for them to enter because it's just a few bucks away from the peak that it has shown. While as you've said that there are other options that someone can do, it's still possible for them to choose others if they want to. Or there's no need to go that far if there's Bitcoin that they can buy and they don't have much of it yet.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if DEXs are banned in the future? on: December 26, 2023, 06:58:38 PM
IMHO, they will still survive regardless of what laws these senators or lawmakers from the US make. The world isn't just all about US and there are countries that don't rely on their policies with US' sanctions and laws and that's why it won't matter to some countries and whoever makes and develops these DEXes are pretty aware of those laws. They will continue to exist and something terrible will be the reason for them to cease like having no volume and liquidity or a massive hack.
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone can succeed as a bitcoin trader on: December 26, 2023, 06:25:56 PM
~snip~
The reality is that there are more traders that are being rekt than investors. This is the reality that many have to understand and that's why there are more investors than traders. I agree that no one should stop if they think that they're a profitable trader whether they're a newbie or not. But if the results don't go according to your plan which is always the situation that we're having, it's hard to get on track again when you've lost a lot already before you realize that trading isn't for you.

Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 to you all.
Merry Christmas to you too.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 7k usdt on: December 26, 2023, 05:57:59 PM
Looking for some passive income, huh? $7k for a $30 daily profit is quite high I think. But if I'll ever find also a way to earn something like that, I'd do it. But if you'll get to combine most of the staking coins and will be making you this much, I guess someone is going to like it not just OP but also me and the rest. I haven't seen yet an opportunity like this and it seems that it's quite high APY for that project on its staking. I won't even put that into risky trades, finding like a low risk staking and which such good APY is hard to find.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana blockchain on: December 26, 2023, 05:26:13 PM
Well Solana is just making big profits in this past week. It is up still 50% just in the last 7 days. And now there is some more bullish news to make investors in this token happy.

The stablecoin Paxos now received approval to use the USDP Pax Dollar on the Solana blockchain. Before the approval from the New York Department of Financial Services it could only use Etheterum blockchain.

https://cryptoslate.com/paxos-secures-new-york-regulatory-approval-to-expand-usdp-stablecoin-to-solana/
That is for sure, many are happy with their profits through solana as it keeps on pumping and it has topped this week to $120. But, if the correction comes and this is going to be done, I think those people that are in FOMO will start to buy it and think that they need to have it before it soars high. And by that time, I guess that there will be other altcoins that's going to pump and it will be missed, this is what's happening for those that are missing the runs.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ordinance (ORDI) a good altcoin to invest? on: December 26, 2023, 12:30:19 PM
Sometimes I think It will be a good altcoin, since it's on Bitcoin blockchain. or does Bitcoin blockchain not have any effect on its growth or longevity?
How do I say this. Hmmm, take a look at those projects that have tried to associate their projects with Bitcoin and perfect example might be the forks. Yes, they're not bitcoin blockchains but their names have been attached to them even until now. They've made good gains on their very first year/s or so. But look where they are right now. I think that's the perfect comparison that I can say to you if you think that ordi will be a good altcoin.
Bitcoin is top project in the space, in fact anyone that have mounted pressure on the project will become very competitive and hopeful for massive gains in the market. Exploring ideas about the space and it worked so smoothly just as expected. Everyone of us have doubts regarding the projects but we just have to do what we all think is right and basic for ourselves before finally settling for some projects that I'm not confident about. ORDI can turn out to become prominent or failed project when the time comes,
Well, basically you're saying that it's two-way around. ORDI can be successful or a failure which you're saying that it's either of the two and that's just confusing on which side you really are at.

probably we will notice during the longevity of the bear season, that's one of the way to know altcoins.
Most of the projects by that time are going to be dead for sure. Some are good today because we're approaching the bull run but definitely a lot will be out of this market by the bear market.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: December 26, 2023, 01:22:47 AM
It there is no password in the wallet then is very bad oh because it is open to all the visitors of the laptop. At least there should be a password to safe guide the wallet, or probably the wallet is still under construction. But one thing that surprised me was, I first downloaded the zip file and I checked everything but I was not comfortable with it so I redownloaded the unzipped file and installed it and after installing it I laughed the software and I discovered that the wallet address I saw in the zip file is the same in the unzip file.

Yes there no much on the wallet interface and I have searched everywhere to see if I could get the seed phrase and if possible set the password but all was no avail.
I've explored the wallet app and there's no password upon logging in. However, we've got options to change wallet passphrase which you can find under Wallet data. And, under Tools, there's the bip38 that encrypts your passphrase and eloncoin address. I don't want to use that feature, I'm all good with the current that I have on this wallet. But maybe soon, they'll add that feature of asking for password first before accessing the wallet app.

1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best piece of advice to anyone going into bitcoin on: December 25, 2023, 11:03:53 PM
In fact, the DCA model will indeed prevent you from panic selling, but additional capital is also very necessary, otherwise how can we consistently accumulate every drop of BTC if we don't have sufficient funds as you mentioned above.
When you are focused on DCA, that will make you not think of any panic selling. Because your sole game is to just accumulate whenever you have money and you won't mind the price. And that's even going to give you that happy vibe when you see the prices go low because it's more Bitcoins for you.

Regarding profits in BTC, it will show itself because I am sure that everyone can record it, even if they only buy $20 using the DCA technique, regardless of the price increase or decrease.
There will be profits on it for sure but the logic here is that the lower capital you have this time, the lower profit you'll get as well. So it will reflect to how much you have been accumulating and as long as your goal is to accumulate as many as you can or even at least 1 BTC over time, you don't have to think of one time profits until you haven't reached that yet.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Some Passive Earning Opportunities On My Radar. on: December 25, 2023, 10:22:28 PM
It is easy because they're airdrops but it's way easier before that you don't have to do tasks before you will become eligible for it. Like with all of those forks and availability of those wallets that you are holding their main token or mainnet token and you'll be eligible for it.

Being a fan of retroactive airdrops I just thought I'd share this $ZKF earning opportunity.
Keep on sharing it so that everyone who's into airdrops will be able to see what are you up to and if they're also interested the same as you with your finds.
