^  Michael Johnson was actually a highly touted prospect back in the day even though his record wasn't that good.  He fought the top guys and had wins over a young Tony Ferguson, Dustin Poirier and Edson Barboza.

Anyway, yeah the next event is not really that good but it's better than the worst events this year imho.  Looking forward in watching Durden vs Johnson, I wanna see Quinlan in there, Borralho vs Oleksiejczuk and the main event.  Curious how Song Yadong fares vs Simon's wrestling.

Ricky is relentless in the wrestling, so if Yadong can't keep it on the feet, he's in for a very long night. Ricky, on the other hand has questions to be asked on the feet. I think it's one of those classic match ups; wrestler vs striker, and it's ultimately going to decide who wins. However, I've learned my lesson far too many times, never doubt a dedicated wrestler to get things done in these tricky matchups.

Even though Yadong trains with Urijah Faber and the guys at Team Alpha Male, I think Ricky Simon will def have success in taking him down.  Simon took Jack Shore down a bit easily and Shore isn't just a half assed wrestler.  The guy is pretty good.

But the thing with Simon is he could be chinny and Yadong has powerrr.  And another thing, who was the last guy to KO Simon?  Yep, it's Faber, Yadong's head coach.  Cheesy

^  Yeah, some people started to sell.  But overall, not bad.  Pretty sure some people got to make 1000x gains from it.  It's prolly the trade of the year imo, just like how SHIB was the thing to trade during 2021.

And that's the whole point of the thread ladies and gents.  It's the memecoins that make the massive gains.  So if you got any memecoin to shill, post them in here so we could take a look see.

For being an ARB claimer in Arbitrum, I'm being airdropped AIDOGE, AISHIB, REKT, LSDOGE and soon DROP.  Lol.  I'm not selling and I'll be staking them then let's see how it goes in the next couple of years...
1323  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 26, 2023, 12:59:53 PM
Locked the poll and it looks like the sentiment isn't really bullish as I thought.  There was just one guy who voted super bullish and just three of you who voted for super duper bullish.  C'mon guys...  This was supposed to be fun.  Grin

And here's what the monthly chart looks like so far after two little pumps today and yesterday.  Not bad imo.  They add up.  It wasn't looking good for a while there.

What the fck just happened?  A few hours ago everything looked like it was gonna go trend up above 30k albiet having some resistance.  Now it's looking like it's ready to go down to 26.5k support.  :/  Does anybody know what's going on?  It would be so weird if BTC just went down out of the blue without rhyme or reason or without anything happening behind the scenes.

Hopefully itwas just a fat finger error and we proceed to going back to how it was in a couple of days.

We are still holding at around $27,300, not a good sign but we have to suckered everything right now. Lots of negative things maybe that's why the price falter from as high as $31k and when we thought that the uptrend will continue.

We still have a week before the end of this month. It started strong might this might be the first time that we might see a negative candle after a good 3 months head start.

It's starting to look good now.  Hopefully there aren't any market shenanigans happening for the next couple of weeks.

Edit:  Looking at the chart again, I think I know what you guys are thinking.  It's going to be in the next poll.  Lol.

^  What's fun about Monaco is the qualifying.  And what's fun about it this year is Verstappen having somewhat of a an ax to grind against Perez.  I don't know if you guys remember, but there were words swirling around that Perez's crash in last year's qualifying at Monaco was on purpose which caused a red flag and prevented Verstappen from completing his last lap.

So yeah...  I hope those protesters find another day to do their protesting and let the race commence.  I mean I know I'm a bit jaded these days but really, no amount of protesting will change anything.  Those guys at the top will always get their way sooner or later.
1325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 26, 2023, 12:31:23 PM
^  Yup...  The guy's young, he's practically still a kid as far as his fight age goes because from what I know, he didn't really have any tough matches against fighers that are in his level.  I think he should toughen up and fight more of the top guys in his weight class.

Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed.  I really thought Garcia was gonna take the match to the late rounds.  I expected him to be more durable than what he showed up there...  :/  And because I had a small bet on Davis to win via decision.  Lol.  Cheesy Cheesy

1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Back in 2021 Form ;) on: April 24, 2023, 12:33:04 PM
I don't know if you guys noticed but ETH is back in its 2021 trend where it belongs.  Wink  Now holding on to it will depend on how it consolidates above the red bar.  Obviously if the buyers gobble up everything the market throws at them then hopefully we'll see another leg up to 2.5k soon and 3.5k after that.  Leeezz gooo!
-cut-

Yeah true, but i don't see how you do your TA. If this would be a counted as a elliot wave leg wouldn't this be a second leg and according to elliot wave theory 4th and 5th are retracing before we go up? Or do you think it would retrace from 3.5K? Where to? Back to 2500 maybe? Anyway, good to be on the solid ground soon. I feel easy to long from there.

Uh, it's not really TA.  It's just looking at the chart and showing what currently happening.  TA has some sort on analysis  baked in and with it, selling a prediction.  As for me I'm just showing what's happening at that given moment and try to see if it's bullish or bearish.

And I'm not really the guy to talk to about Elliot Waves or other predictive indicators.  I think dragonvslinux is a more qualified guy.  He's smart.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 24, 2023, 12:20:37 PM
Small news.

Ferrari just hired 2 engineers from Redbull they will be in next year's team.

(they are doing what Aston Martin did if you can't beat them... join them.)

If you can't get Horner to join your team, just go get some of his engineers...  Lol.  But it's good.  I hope Ferrari gets as much smart people as they need and bring back their glory days.  It's been a while.

The Monaco GP of F1 is at risk.

As you may know in France there is a political protest going on and the Monaco GP can be the next target for the strike from people.

Jfc..  What are they protesting for?  And what does Monaco have to do with them?  I think it's one of the least political places in the world.  If they're just there to annoy the lot of them rich folks then that would be funny.  Cheesy

Verstappen now at 1.39 to win Azerbaijan GP.  :/  Hamilton at 15...
1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 24, 2023, 12:12:09 PM
Sergei Pavlovich looks the real deal, even defended a few takedown attempts, despite them not being setup by Blaydes. I'm not sure why Blaydes stayed on the feet as long as he did, it was quite clear Sergei Pavlovich was hurting him every single time he was landing. I didn't want to see Curtis lose in that way, but I've got to give it to Pavlovich he's put a real statement on that win.

He looks like the real deal, and can defend wrestlers. Remember, Curtis is one of the best in the division for his wrestling skills. I believe he has the most time on top in control time.

I think those looked like they were half hearted TD's.  Lol.  I forgot Blaydes kinda has low fight IQ.  He just reminded me.  Cheesy  I really thought he'd do Palv like he did Overeem back in the day and to think Palv's only loss was due to ground and pound.

Blaydes lost his shot for a title shot.  But I guess Palv is a more exciting match for Jones.

Anyway, lost my lottery ticket again.  I gotta stop doing these.  Next event I just bet on the guys that I think are gonna win with good value.  Sad
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 22, 2023, 12:52:23 PM
^  I wouldn't discount it as just rumor if we consider that Hamilton has been showing his dissatisfaction with his team as of late.  When does his contract with Merc end?  It would really be something if he won his next driver's championship with Ferrari.  I will def be rooting for Hamilton and Ferrari if he does get a drive there.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 22, 2023, 12:45:09 PM
So what are you guys betting on for this match?  I'm not really into boxing these days but this match is so good, it's gonna be a fun watch.  Been browsing through the thread and I've seen some guys saying that Davis is gonna knock Garcia out.  I don't think so, Garcia is fast as hell too.  And from what I've seen in his record he was knocked down once but then got up and ended up winning the bout.  That proves he has grit and he has heart.  I don't think it'll be easy for both of these guys but I give the slight edge to Davis.

Davis to win via decision is at 6.  Wink
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 22, 2023, 12:25:44 PM
I might be in the minority, but I think Burns takes that fight. We've seen how dangerous Burns is, and his only notable losses are against the best in the division. He really tested Chimaev, and honestly I thought he won the fight. He lost against Usman, but actually was looking very dangerous until that jab caught him. If Burns avoided that jab he probably would've won that fight, as that's ultimately all he was having trouble with. I think he's improved since then.

Nope, I'm with you.  But I'm not gonna bet it.  Lol.  As I said in a post prior to this one, I have faded Muhammad a couple of times as the underdog and lost twice.  There' just something about Belal that makes him win.  Either by luck or timing or no idea what...  He just wins.

So If he's an underdog in this spot...  Be wary.  :/

Here's my lottery ticket for the event.

Blaydes - Jackson
Add:  Tavares - Green - Marshall
Add:  Lucindo - Rosa
Add:  Semelsberger - Usman
Add:  Hiestand - Giagos

Weigh in results.

Sergei Pavlovich (260.5) vs Curtis Blaydes (262.5)
Bruno Silva (186) vs Brad Tavares (185)
Jared Gordon (155.5) vs  Bobby Green (156)

Matthew Semelsberger (171) vs Jeremiah Wells (171)
Christos Giagos (155.5) vs Ricky Glenn (155.5)

Well it looks like a day after I made this thread the trading gods decided to sell down and get the price below the red bar as I drew it in the chart.  Lmao.  Cheesy  Now watch if there's a bounce and the red bar becomes the resitance.  If we do, then that's an S/R flip.  Things could get dicey from here and it's back to limbo for us...

It could also show that OcTradism was right after all.  We might not be really out of the woods yet.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: April 21, 2023, 12:53:14 PM
^  I'm not sure if we could say Arteta and his boy are crumbling rn.  I mean they could be but it's too early to tell.  And Arsenal doesn't have to worry about playing Europe so their schedule of fixtures isn't as hectic as City's.  I think we'll see how Arsenal does against City at the midweek after this coming weekend.  Wink  I think they'll give a good account of themselves getting at least a draw.  But that's just me.

And it's funny how the EPL got the schedule just right to face off City and the Gunners.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 21, 2023, 12:35:52 PM
^  A little bit risky but Masvidal didn't really give him such a hard time that maybe he things signing up for the match is fine.  And I'm thinking he wouldn't get another opportunity like this as winning the match would mean getting first crack at the title at 170 against Edwards.

The good thing for Burns here is he is already fit and ready...  I wonder how the books will price these two.  Been fading Muhammad twice in his last two and lost twice.  Lol.

1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is the chance of $PEPE to become the next $SHIB? on: April 20, 2023, 04:13:06 PM
Lots of memecoins on the arb network are creating so much hype in the market lately. You already know that this is a high-risk investment especially when you did not get in early.
PEPE already gave huge profits to early investors, buying now hoping it will be the next SHIB is very risky, rather, you should be taking profit if you were lucky to participate from the beginning of the ann.
There is also the possibility that it will be the next shib on the arbitrum network, who knows.

Yup, getting in early is key and even then, it's not a sure thing with these meme coins.  A lot of them are only good for the first couple of days or so then the liquidity goes away leaving you holding the bag.

As for PEPE, I think it's something special and could rise to a billion market cap or more.  I think a couple of exchanges have already listed it, so it's not just isolated in Defi anymore.  A lot more people are gonna know about it.  And I heard some Defi services have accepted it as payment.  The project prolly has some major backers.
