1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: December 08, 2023, 08:05:05 PM
OP posted about altcoins being dead last year and it's most likely that it became better after a year. But not all altcoins have and will survive. I think that there were a lot of them that have been dead forever. I also get the idea from some people that if it's about investing to any altcoin will give profit, it's not always the case. We're not yet on that season and by people mean anything, don't be too gullible with such words because it may just lose you a lot of money.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price before Christmas on: December 07, 2023, 11:49:30 PM
$2,300 is possible as long as volatility is involved. It could be some news or hype and the next moment, it’s there. But don’t put so much thought in that.
Not just possible but it actually happened already. He has to check his portfolio if he's no longer in losses or he needs some more bump to the price to at least break even.
I actually didn’t check as I was assuming the old price of some hours ago. Haha! Well, I guess we have it; $2,300 indeed. Even if it was a few amount away from the target $2,300, one still has to be careful because volatility can do anything.
I have to look at what the price he's talking and maybe he has taken a mistake like making it as $3,300? I don't know. But yes, we're already on it and that's no longer a discussion for him if it's possible because it actually did.  Grin

It is very possible that it gets to $2,299 without achieving the desired target. Thank you for tagging me to this though.
No problem mate, it's just a little stuff and OP is the main concern here if he's already satisfied to see that Ethereum hit the number that he's talking and asking about if it's possible or not.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price before Christmas on: December 07, 2023, 11:18:36 PM
Is it possible for the price to reach $2300 before Christmas?
As of posting this, $2350 for the price of Ethereum. And there you go, it happened before Christmas. Now, time for you to set another amount for you to have another goal before Christmas happens or before this year ends.

$2,300 is possible as long as volatility is involved. It could be some news or hype and the next moment, it’s there. But don’t put so much thought in that.
Not just possible but it actually happened already. He has to check his portfolio if he's no longer in losses or he needs some more bump to the price to at least break even.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Delays with Binance Deposits via BSC/BEP20 ?!?! on: December 07, 2023, 10:47:56 PM
Based on the upgrade, it should be done by now.

Quote
Deposits and withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will also be suspended before the network upgrade and hard fork, starting from approximately 2023-12-07 07:45 (UTC).
....

So, as I've checked it. The withdrawals and deposits for BSC(BEP20) and BEP2 are now enabled. The current suspended one is OPBNB. I don't know what that network is but you should see your deposit now credited to your account.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to invest in JITO (JTO)? on: December 07, 2023, 10:16:35 PM
Is this the one that's currently added on Binance? Hmmm, I am missing a lot and don't look at the updates a lot and whatever the projects are now.
I think that the craze is still there if the project is new and there will be more of them soon. If you think that you can take advantage of this moment and there will be an airdrop that's going to be distributed to all of its holders, then you place the money that you think that's going to be nice there.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin or token with high potential on: December 07, 2023, 09:41:14 PM
I don't like meme coins but just a few hours ago I saw someone boast his profits with $160k. Good for him but this is like a gamble to the ones who don't have much profitability on this market and has lesser experience. Those who can invest with their spare money can do a lot of explorations with several altcoins but for OP and other investors out there, you need to take time before you invest and don't just get caught up by someone who has made a lot of profit just because of it, you want also to get in, it's too late already.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin's comeback on: December 07, 2023, 09:04:29 PM
with the return of litecoin this is very encouraging news for all crypto users, especially for those who still hold litecoin, because the price of litecoin has now started to rise,
Litecoin has never been gone but with what you're saying as a return of it. I think that it's all about the peak that it matters to anyone who holds it. It has never change and it's still one of the best to be used for transfers.

for those of you who want to invest in litecoin I think now is the time, to buy it because the price has not rise too high.
Not discouraging everyone but it's good that when a crypto hasn't moved a lot for the past years, yes there's a possibility that it's going to be up soon but we don't know when and if it's going to be the same peak as it is going to be.
1368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading advice for newbies on: December 07, 2023, 01:17:45 PM
Learning the volatility of the market can be done by investing alone in Bitcoin. You'll get to see how the market is highly volatile and you can adjust depending on how you think it is needed to be.

Newbies should take time to learn about the market to trade.
Not just them but everybody who's into this market need to learn it. All of us are not perfect and that's the reason why we need to take time in learning and continue learning from it.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: December 07, 2023, 09:18:06 AM
I am still holding a handful of it and I am not yet impressed because it's not yet back to its former ATH. I am only waiting for it to reach the ATH and then I am ready to dump as soon as possible since it's ready to be dumped.

The exchange tokens should not be considered in regards of making huge profits from investing in them. Those tokens are kept as gas fees in the exchange and the project team pays less attention to the token, all they want to care for is building their exchanges into a great empire so why consider them the best option for investment. At any point they can get more value but not in a bigger ratio that you expect and that alone could be a time waste, in which you should have invested the money mostly into Bitcoin and some other Altcoins that would give better return of profit.
Not underestimating their worth, keeping Bitcoin aside for now they have more risk control than any other altcoins as it will be difficult for them to rug their token, as long as the exchange remains so your token remains and that becomes one best attribute they have over others.
Why not? I get the point about the gas fees and whatsoever but there's real money on these exchanges as you can see, many of them are in the top 100 and that's why people are thinking of them as good assets. Well, I won't give a name but I hold a few of them and I am only waiting for the right timing to sell it.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Questions on: December 07, 2023, 08:34:05 AM
From what I see there in USTC and LUC, to be honest, even if we say that there are a lot of people who do not believe and trust in it because of the scandal it did in 2023, it is still undeniable that when you look at its trading volume in Binance or in the market, it is still too big to be honest.
That's because they're in Binance and I think that Binance is still milking the remains of it. But once the volume goes down or when the time comes that Binance gets themselves done with it, the volume will dramatically go down. And that's the reason why they need to rethink of it because it's known that CZ is stil supporting it, despite that he's no longer the CEO of Binance. I guess that there's still some continuation of what he has started supporting these coins.
thats true seemed he really favoured this coin to be honest, even go as far as keeping the future contract might make us wonder whats actually left of this coin, regardless the trading volume still being high was mainly because are so attached to the coin, might be some people that are still willing to hold it thinking it'd eventually regain its value in the future, also the whales comes into play in this coin making things worse, sometime the coin pumps out of nowhere significantly and the next hours it dumps into oblivion.
but I guess people are favouring such fluctuation and try to get profit from that, so no wonder the trading volume remains high, we also see same case with meme coin despite being abandoned by the devs, it instead thrive, but never forget that a coin without fundamental might just vanish into thin air the next day.
Because after the debacle, they should have delisted that and even telling how much they've got from it became low and almost a total lost for them. I think that they're just trying to recover the big loss that they've from this project and that's why even if many have already abandoned it, they're still on it. This is the reason why these exchanges can do anything that they want and support whatever projects they want to support. There's an agenda why it is still on it and it's either they're still making money out of it or not yet done and recovered from the devastating loss they've made.

1372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: User protection funds, Should more cex adopt this culture? on: December 06, 2023, 11:18:45 PM
It's really different that you put our crypto assets where we are the only ones who have the ability to control them and no one else handles and controls them
That's the reason why it's a different feeling when you have full control to your assets that the Centralized Exchanges don't want people to realize these days. They're putting some SAFU and protection features for people to think that they've always been safe.

compared to the fact that we have assets that are placed in CEX where they have control and not us.
Aside from having control, they can do anything that they want with the funds. They can reinvest it somewhere else like the bank does and make use of the funds and what you're looking at your account are merely numbers.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: P2E game project coins on: December 06, 2023, 10:49:58 PM
In my personal opinion some P2E game project coins will be a good investment.
Not for me, I am done with them.

As for an example the pixels game PIXEL coin might pump to a very high price because of the project quality and community interactions with the project. There are also some other good P2E game projects coming up. So better to keep an eye on them
I have never heard of it. I know that there are other good P2E games that are existing and about to come but to look at the most popular ones that didn't do good for the past years. I can say that I am truly done with them, maybe with the game and their economics but who knows if there could be some changes over time with their tokenomics and will make someone interested again.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 06, 2023, 10:25:57 PM
Seeing this news tells a lot about modern investors, they're just investing cause of the money not for the knowledge.

It's not surprising that many of the investors of CR7's NFT is just all about buying it because it was his name that's embedded on it and there was a partnership with Binance. This teaches a lot of lesson for those that have bought it and what they get for buying it? Nothing.
They just have to wait until the price goes up and CR7 wasn't even aware of what's the crypto scene and this lawsuit that he's got for, well, what a messy thing that he's got into this partnership.
Because of the cristiano Ronaldo image on the project is the major reason why most of those who pumped in huge sum in investment into this token did so without doing any personal due diligence to know whether or not the NFT project will succeed or not,  and also many of them also got greedy along the way with the way and manner at which their blindly trusted the speculated listing price of the NFTs so for sure,  we can't blame the star player unless he is part of the team.

But if only he is paid to just promote the project and with a crypto disclaimer as not an investment advice,  that way he may have a case in the court and can possibly avoid this law suit,  and many time also he may not even visit the court room if he has strong legal team to represents him in court, let see how thing goes with the case and what we except to see as the next development with this case.
But since there's already a law suit, I think that he'd just let his lawyers work on it. He didn't do his due diligence pertaining to this partnership that he's got with Binance. And I think that other athletes and celebrities will have to do it next time if there are endorsements offered to them. Because if they're not going to do it, they will end up into a hassle of clearing their names with some fines on the side because it could be a product that will mislead not just investors but also the government.

While I am still using some of these altcoins that I am going to say and mainly for transfers but if we're going to talk about them for investments, I wouldn't hold them for that.

  • XRP
  • TRX
  • Dogecoin
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is effecting Market? on: December 06, 2023, 08:25:42 PM
BTC experienced a sharp decline in 2018, it also caused stock markets around the world to drop.
They were the altcoins that were affected when bitcoin dropped and went through a bear market. But can you see what happened in 2022/last year? It was a different bear market that we're expecting.

So guys what are your thoughts about current situation.
BTC is always been, always be and will always be affecting the entire crypto market. It won't be called as the king of this market if it has no meaning at all.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: December 06, 2023, 07:56:56 PM
One year has passed since this thread was posted, you can check all of the suggestions last year and see how they have performed throughout the year. While everyone will definitely going to say to invest in Bitcoin, that should be what's your first choice.

I think it depends on each of our personalities because both BTC and altcoins can provide profits for their holders, but if you want your funds to be safe I think BTC is the right choice, but if you want to get bigger profits of course altcoin is a good choice but altcoin has a greater risk than BTC,
BTC first and then look for some alts after that but as you are studying the market and volatility of Bitcoin, you may insert some adventure learning with other alts that you see.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: December 06, 2023, 07:25:29 PM
Looking forward to see Eloncoin listed on prominent exchanges like Kucoin and Binance.
That might take time but who knows if it's going to be there somewhere. We'd be able to trade there but once it's there or any of them, the volume will no doubt rise.
It requires a project to be hugely establish, a bigger community to get listed in a top-tier exchange. EMC is yet to be that coin so it's not coming anytime soon.
Yeah, and that's going to take time. If this community is going to get bigger soon then that might get close to that possibility. But for now, we're seeing some dex going on and listing it and that is still a fine progress after all, when there will be more exchanges to list it popular or not, they'll be combined to have a greater volume then.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: help me choose the best possible ALTCOINS for 2024/2025 on: December 06, 2023, 06:52:37 PM
Hello guys,

im looking into ALTCOINS i wont to invest into projects such as AI , GAMING , DEFI  - do you recommend any other SECTORS ?
I am thinking about exchange's token and smart contracts.

what top 1-5 coins of each of the sectors would you recommend ?  which have a good background and solid fundamentals ? would you go for 1-2 top coins with big martket cap and 2-3 with lower marketcap ?
I think that you're making it easy for you not to research so that you'll just invest and choose from the suggestions that you'll get. Some may look shilling if you don't DYOR.

what would be the best time to start buying them ? now  ore before halfing  ore after halving ?  some of them are really low how low can they even get ?
Now because when halving comes, alts market will bloom too.

what do you think if the ETF would dissalow BTC how would this impact ALTCOINS ?  how badly would they fall ?
It's gonna have a temporary impact that shall blow the market down but that's it, temporary.

do you think BITCOIN will revisit 30K before halving ? if that happens ALTCOINS could bleed heavily ...
Yes, possible as it's volatile.
